Adding Azure Subscription Services Open

In Azure in the Portal, where can I add the key to my "Azure Subscription Services Open." I have 100 quantity and do not see where to enter them?

Hi,
Please connect to Azure support, it's free, and it's the best choice for you. Please contact support team by creating a support ticket at
http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/support/contact/
Or if that doesn't work because you don't have an active subscription you will need to contact general customer support to have them create a support ticket for you

  • Add a second license in Azure subscription

    Hi,
Was purchased 2 license Microsoft Open Licence for Windows Azure.
Using these data, on the site www.microsoft.com/Licensing/ I activated the license.
In the section "Downloads and Keys" I see my license (Azure Subscription Services Open) and product key.
On the site account.windowsazure.com/ I added to the subscription "Azure with an open source license" credits, by entering the serial number.
    Things work, credits were added.
I want to activate a second license.
When attempting to add credits to Microsoft, says that the serial number is already in use.
Please help add a second license in Azure subscription.

  • Error: Cannot get Azure subscription ID and thumbprint. Failed in New-FirewallRuleForWebsite in New-AzureSql.ps1

I am working through the eBook "Building Cloud Apps with Microsoft Azure" and when I run New-AzureWebsiteEnv.ps1 I get the following error
Error: Cannot get Azure subscription ID and thumbprint. Failed in New-FirewallRuleForWebsite in New-AzureSql.ps1
I have already tried adding -ExtendedDetails to Get-AzureSubscription in New-AzureSql.ps1 and New-AzureWebsiteEnv.ps1.
I am using Azure PowerShell 0.8.16 and Windows 7 Service Pack 1.

    Hi,
Not too sure if you have tried this:
In the code you will have a line:
    $s = Get-AzureSubscription –Current
    Change that line to:
    $s = Get-AzureSubscription -Current –ExtendedDetails
The difference between the two lines is that the –ExtendedDetails will return the Thumbprint required by the code

  • Ssrs subscription service Job not trigggering

    Hi,
I am using sql 2012 standard edition-and server is configured n single box on azure vm-
there is DNS/AD/Sql/SharePoint/Project Server 2013 are all in same box on azure- no problem on performance  complain till date on performance.
2 parties hosted their servers on this same box-
1st party have DNS name and AD with their company name say contoso.com
2nd party is my client-but here he uses office 365 enterprise edition- so don't required AD/DNS/etc- say TechNet.com
Issue- is-when I configured ssrs report subscription service-email are not triggering ?
this link I am looking to resolve email issue-
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms159155(d=printer,v=sql.110).aspx
    Any suggestion pls
    thnks

    Hi mafab,
Generally, when you create an subscription, several things are added to the RS server:
A row is placed in the Subscriptions table.
A row is placed in the Schedule and ReportSchedule tables.
A SQL Server Agent job is created.
When the subscription runs several things happen:
The SQL Server Agent job fires and puts a row in the Event table
The RS server service has a limited number of threads (2 per CPU) that poll the Event table
When it finds an event, it puts a row in the Notifications table and
    starts processing
So, from the snapshot you have provided, we can see that the subscription haven't run yet. the issue can be caused by many facotrs, it can be caused by the SQL Angent Job stoped or your SQL Sever Reorting Service is stoped at the time of the Last Run time,
it can also caused by someone changed the schedule time in the job like below:
Please try to find the details error message in the log file to help us better analysis about the root cause. The path of the log file like:(please find the correct date of the log file)
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles

  • Deploying to a corporate Azure subscription

I have an MSDN account with my company, and this provides me with access to an azure subscription (right now, I'm using the Free Trial).
Right now I'm deploying the project I'm working on as a cloud service to my subscription. I'm testing it there and it's working fine, but I'm going to have to deploy it to production as a cloud service using the company's subscription. What do I need to
do (or have done by the account holders) in order to deploy to their subscription? They're willing to give me sufficient access/privileges on the subscription, if they can figure out how. From there, I don't see anywhere in the azure management portal where
I can pick the subscription to use when deploying the cloud service.

    Hi,
This first choice is to package your application then upload it to your company's subscription, refer to
http://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/documentation/articles/cloud-services-how-to-create-deploy/ for more details. You can also use visual studio directly, please open Server Explorer then right click Azure Section.

  • Cannot connect to Azure Mobile Services as DataSource

I've created an Azure Mobile Service which is using .NET backend.
Project Siena isn't able to connect or work against this kind of data source.
    Error message is
An error occurred connecting to Azure Mobile Service
I have also tried to create zz_config support table, and implement a custom TableController for serving the URI
tables/zz_config but I could only got few steps further, still without the possibility to read and use the model exposed by Mobile Services
This behavior has been reproduced with both Beta 2 and Beta 3
P.S. Adding the AMS as REST data source makes possible to import and use the model exposed. The operation of association in this case must be done per-table in Siena
Wheb can we expect Siena to work well together with the new version of Azure Mobile Services?

Yes, that article is indeed precise and updated. I followed all steps described properly, especially for the part about setting up the database structure, and create
zz_config table (second post of the series)
I can connect to AMS (JS Backend) with Siena, but tables' names aren't showing up correctly, but display as
undefined, and from there on doesn't work properly.
JSON object returned from GET /tables/zz_config?$filter=(Key%20eq%20'table')
    "id": "ccb9c9a8-9bae-41c8-87aa-277e2e0d1379",
    "key": "table",
    "value": "users"
I do confirm I have the same (incorrect) behavior using a .NET Backend where I set up
zz_config table and create a TableController mapped with it; with route
    tables/zz_config
I confirm also I had the same behavior this morning with Beta 2, before I installed Beta 3.
P.S. The error message reported in my first post is returned only when the table
zz_config isn't setup correctly on AMS

  • How integrate azure media services with blob storage?

I need to upload lots of content over blob storage which contains different types of files.
Now my problem is that files contains lots of videos also.
I want to way by which i can integrate azure media services with blob storage so that i can stream that video.
So probably i don't want to upload my videos on azure media services storage because i want all my content to be at one place which is blob storage.
Is there any way to achieve this?
    Thanks,

    Hi Rajesh
Every Media Services account needs a blob storage account associated with it. You can choose an existing blob storage account for that purpose. In order for Media Services to work with your videos you need to create an asset using the Media Services APIs.
That call results in the creation of a container which has the name in the following format asset-<AssetId>. The actual video files need to go as blobs within this container but these files need to be known to Media Services and you can do so by adding
AssetFiles to the asset using the Media Services APIs. Once you do that the asset is well known to Media Services and you can stream it.

  • Non-personal project specific accounts with azure subscriptions?

We have (in the company I'm working for) explored the Azure platform, running database and services there, and we are possibly building some cloud based services for our customers. At the moment we are running these services using a subscription created
with my company (Office365) account and with a company credit card. But this is not probably how it's supposed to be done in real production environment.  I don't (and the company I'm working for does not) want to have the subscripion be tied
to my "personal" work email account for example.
When we are building a service to our customer, we would like to run the subscription and services using some non-personal customer specific project accounts. Is this even possible?

    Hi,
Based on your description, does your customers want to manage the subscription and services by themselves? If that they need their own azure subscription, at now on, if we add them as co-administrator, they will have the permission to manage other customer's
services, As far as I know, this may be a new feature, you could try to add this as a feature at:

  • Azure Mobile Services

First of all thank you responding.
I am about to create a windows app within which the user enters the email id  for confirmation. I would like to store the email id in the cloud. How to create a sql database in Azure. i have a trial subscription and my region is India. Also I need to
create a mobile service. It says that the service is disabled in the free trial subscription. But in some sites they say in the free trial I can get 10 Mobile services for free. Plz help me through this....

The free trial subscriptions are mainly geared towards development. So since your free service shows up as disabled, it means you have exceeded one of the quota limits on a free subscription. You would need to upgrade to a paid subscription to continue
    utilizing your service.
With regards to creating the SQL Database in Azure, Azure mobile services makes this very simple. Here's a good start regarding
    Azure Mobile services.

  • Can a Worker Role process call Antimalware for Azure Cloud Services programmatically?

I'm trying to find a solution that I can use to perform virus scanning on files that have been uploaded to Azure blob storage.  I wanted to know if it is possible to copy the file to local storage on a Worker Role instance, call Antimalware for Azure
Cloud Services to perform the scan on that specific file, and then depending on whether the file is clean, process the file accordingly.  If the Worker Role cannot call the scan programmatically, is there a definitive way to check if a file has been scanned
and whether it is clean or not once it has been copied to local storage (I don't know if the service does a real-time scan when new files are added, or only runs on a schedule)?

    Hi,
I would suggest you have a look at this article:
http://azure.microsoft.com/blog/2014/10/30/microsoft-antimalware-for-azure-cloud-services-and-virtual-machines/, please note the Microsoft Antimalware Client and Service is not installed by default in cloud service, please try to use the PowerShell
cmdlet, Set-AzureServiceAntimalwareExtension to enable antimalware in your cloud service. Here's some more info:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn771718.aspx

  • Error : -2145124329 Installing Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent on SBS Standard 2011

When installing the Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent on Windows SBS 2011 Standard I receive error code - Error : -2145124329. When looking at the file OBManagedlog.LOGCurr.errlog located here: C:\Windows\Temp extract below it appears to be failing on
the Windows Powershell 3.0 prerequisite which is apart of the .NET 3 Framework. I have tried to install this manually but it does not appear to be compatible with SBS 2011 standard. Anyone have any ideas? MS Azure cannot help until we have a paid subscription,
I have only a trial at the moment as I wanted to test the product first but have been unable to do so as i can't install the agent.

    Hi,
I searched and it seems that Windows SBS 2011 is not in the support list. Only Windows Server 2012 Essentials (and later versions) are available.
