Adding buttons to spinning cube animataion

I found this great source file for a spinning cube with
graphics and would like to be able to add button interactivity to
each face:

Unfortunately, it uses images- not buttons or movie clips.
Can anyone tell me an easy way to alter the code?

Adding new characteristics to cube with data

Hi Gurus,
i need to add some characteristics to a cube already in production, this cube is customized version of material stocks/movements cube (0ic_c03).
i am looking for a way to add the new characteristics without having to do reinitialisation (opening stock,...), i am thinking about a loopback process but how do i manage to get the new characteristics populated for the historical data?

Hi,
If you want to load historial data, you must take ECC down time and re-intialization is required.Becasue you are adding new object in Cube and for that you need to change the Update rules, then need to load historical data, so without down time and reinitialization it is not possible.
Check like below.
You have data in PSA, so try to delete data from Cube and then load from PSA. Because you may write code in Update rules on;y I think. So in that case, it may work.

Adding Buttons to a ScrollPane??

Hello Swing people,
I have had this problem now for quite some time and still have had no luck in getting it right. I am coding an ordering system and on this form is a Jtable displaying product details. Beside the Jtable are category buttons one after the other in a vertical line and there are 18 of them - meaning they cannot fit on the screen!! Therefore i want these buttons to be in some kind of scollpane or list so they can all be viewed.
I thought this would be a simple matter of adding buttons to a scrollpane and then to the panel but this has proved not the case! Does anyone know how i could do this as i have been trying this for too long without the help of you geniuses???
To give u an idea of what i was trying here is a snippet of my code:

This code is fine and puts buttons in a vertical line but the buttons only have numbers on them from 1-20, i want the names of the buttons i have declared to be in here - therefore allowing the action performed on these buttons to be recognised and therefore work too! - anyone know how to get around this??
Also the scrollpane with these buttons in apears in a whole new frame being that it is a small test program but does anyone know how to ensure the buttons appear in the scrollpane only and not in a new frame??
all 25 dukes if someone can sort this long problem out!!!

Hi guys thanks a lot for your replies, i compiled both of them and they are fine! the first reply is more what i am looking for but there is still a problem, i am finding it difficult to incorporate this piece of code into my order form class.
Im trying to take out the current declarations of my JButtons and replace it with the code i was given (reply 1) and obviously keep my action performed methods there as they will be the same but cant seem to do this!
If anyone can add in the code from reply 1 into my code below or at least help me i will give u the 25 dukes, taking into consideration i still want the form (panel) to be displayed as well as the panel or scrollpane containing the JButtons???

Adding fields to 0IC_C03 cube

Hi friends,
I have to add some fields into 0IC_C03 cube. The fields are reson for movement ,special stock indicator,sales order etc. They are cmg in the datasource 2lis_03_bf. I did add them and load the data , but the data was not coming properly. Is there any other method by which i can make use of these fields without adding them in the cube and make a multiprovider on that. I need to have the customer field also. Will this data come if i make a multiprovider on top of this . Can i make a generic datasource from the table which is giving these fields and make a DSO with these fields and make a multiprovider on it.
Will the key date concept work on this .
I would appreciate ur help.

I used to have this problem on a iPad 2 with iOS7 (and iOS6). Everytime I would install a new PDF, iBooks would churn away like it was scanning it. The book wouldn't even show up for me to read until the churning stopped. Eventually the edit button would re-enable and the doc would appear.. It seemed to keep getting worse each time.
I then did a complete restore to the iPad. Now when I load a new book, it immediately is available for edit. iBooks still works fine 3 months after I did the restore.

I need to dynamically add more attributes to cube dimension in SSAS 2008 R2 because the dimension table the cube is based on is updated using dynamic pivoting and there is need to update the cube dimension attributes as more columns are added to the dimension
table without making the changes through BIDS. Is there a way to dynamically adding more attributes to cube dimension in SSAS 2008 R2?

Definitely. You can use AMO to add dimension attributes on the server. I have definitely done this a few times for different clients of mine. Here is a generic AMO sample:

I need to use the Captivate Question Slide "maker" to create
interactive questions with navigation back to the "Jeopardy-esque"
main page. When doing so, the question slide maker prevents adding

Hi Beta Bob and welcome to our community
As you have seen, you cannot insert interactive objects
(Buttons, Click Boxes or Text Entry Boxes) on Question slides.
The only workaround I can think of is to sort of simulate the
question slide using these objects on a standard slide.

Standard buttons not displaying ALV when added button by creating PF status

Hi All,
I have added a button(using SE41) in application toolbar for ALV grid using Factory method.But the problem is I am unable to see the standard tool bar buttons(Layout,Download,Mail etc).
Even I tried adding buttons(using standard FCODES) to the PFstatus.Now the buttons are visible but the functionality is not working for all buttons.Its working only for Graphic and Change layout buttons.
Can any one suggest...??

Disregard DKS's response...that's the older stuff and you're using NetWeaver ALV.
In SALV you can cause those buttons to appear, but you may need to copy the SALV_STANDARD GUI from one of the SALV* named program using SE80...sounds like you have that part, but you may need to turn functions ON...
Perhaps something like this would help:

SALV toolbar & GUI functions
gr_f_list = gr_alv->get_functions( ).     "Get Toolbar functions

How to make separation between added buttons into a jToolBar?

I don't know about NetBeans but yeah U can add horizontal atruts and verticals struts between two components, i.e.
1.) add first component
2.) add horizontal or vertical struts(according to ur toolbar)
3.) add second component
4.) add add horizontal or vertical struts(according to ur toolbar)
this will definitely solve ur problem.
If it does, don't forget to pay ur points.

Trasformations and DTP are decactivating after adding some NAV in cube and activating it.
I knew that it is normal but activating all the DTP's and Transformations is painfull work, would like to just know whether there is any programme to activate the dependent objects!!!

in my last project I created 3 multicubes, 14 infocubes and 23 dso's.
-> 1 change in the data modell and you must reactivate 20 objects.
I wrote a ABAP program to activate
- datasources
- transformations
- DTP's
- update roules and
- multicubes.
It's very nive. So simple now, to make a change.
I select
- a object or
- or an infoarea
- and the program search all objects in the dataflow.
I have two modes
- to display all objects
- and activate the inactive objects.
They are many tasks, where I think a tool can help me to increase my development performance. But I don't have enough time.

Can i restore the 'recently added' button in the sidebar of iTunes?

It happend that I accidencially erased the 'Recently Added' button from the sidebar in iTunes which is a bit of a dissaster for me as I often add mp3's from musicproductions elsewere. It makes it quite difficult to find the songs without that button.

Added new field to cube but data not passed from DSO

Hope someone can help.
(BI 7.0) We added new fields into a cube. The fields already existed in the DSO. When we ran the process chain in development for the first time after making this change, we notice that the 'historical' data for these fields is populated in the cube. When we do this in our quality system only new data passed to the cube is updated. In development in the sub-chain DTP request we see all previous requests listed under selections. In quality it is only the latest request. The only difference is that the DeltaInit flag in the DTP request in development is ticked (extraction mode) - but not in quality. Does anyone know whyb this is?

Adding fields to cube doesn't affect delta status...The delta DTP should be able to handle delta requests automatically.
I guess in you quality system, the cube already got all requests updated from ODS before you importing the change request. And in develop system none of the requests in ODS were updated before the change.

Adding new infoobject to cube with data

Hi experts
Our cube contains data and is fully compressed (E-table), there is are no requests in F-table.
We need to add 2 key figures and 2 characteristics.
The characteristics get a new dimension table.
We don't use the remodel technique. We add these new infoobjects.
There is no need for a reload of historical data for these new objects.
We only need data starting from the first load date after the changes occured.
Are there any errors in this approach?

When you are adding a new dimension to your cube - you are adding a primary key to your E and F Fact tables - therefore when your transport goes it - it will reorganize your cube tables.
For this - assuming that you are collecting the changes in the normal way and not changing any settings ....
1. Check the UNDO table space in target system , the UNDO table space should have enought free space available that will be greater than the size of your E and F Fact table sizes - because , the way the transport moves is that a copy of the table is taken in the undo table space in the database and then the tables are adjusted - if your undo table space is insufficient - the transport will fail after some time
2. If this is a big cube - then the transport will take time to go in - if BASIS imports transport requests in sequence - then this transport will hold the queue and might delay others whi have smaller transports.... make sure that your transport goes in last if there are others waiting for you to complete
3. Also inform BASIS that the transport is going to take time - sometimes long running transports can get the BASIS team excited :-)
These are not technical but some bases that can be covered in advance...
