Adding columns in Layout set of CJI5

Hi,
I am executing the transaction CJI5.  In Change Layout option of the report ouput it is showing 41 columns but in the program the field catalogue has 190 fields and even the output final table has 190 fields.  I  am not able to view the remaining columns in the layout set.
My requirement is to display the order column in the layout set which is not visible in the column set.  Can we get the column order in the layout set?

  • SSAS Tabular - Adding Column to a table gives error "Object reference not set to instance of object"

If I make changes to a table in SSAS Tabular Visual Studio, the newly added column gives error as "Object
reference not set to instance of object"

    Hi VikasJain13,
According to your description, you get the "Object reference not set to instance of object" error when adding columns in Tabular. Right?
Generally, it throws this error when the internal code is accessing the property of an empty object. As you mentioned it happens when you make changes on a table, mostly it means that table is already a empty object. Please re-process your tabular to see
if this table is still existing.

  • Unable to set columns under Layout Margins and Columns

On certain pages in my 40 page document, I am unable to set the number of columns by using Layout>Margins and Columns. The columns option is dimmed out. I have tried to set them on a blank page and pages where columns were previously set (I can see the guides). I am using a single Master for page numbering and it is applied to every page in the document. There are pages where I can set the columns. I've done some page comparison and can't find the setting that might control this. Using InDesign CS6 on Windows. Thank you.

Why are you not using multiple column text frames instead of 2 text frames with columns on the master page? This would give more flexiblity.

  • Setting a Primary Key for a newly added Column

Is it possible for setting a primary key for a newly added column in a table having records?

    Hi,
    km**** wrote:
oh if the table has records then it is not possible ah...No, the table can have rows at the time you add the Primary Key constraint. Solomon was just saying that the column(s) that you are making into the Primary Key must already have unique values. A Primary Key can not be NULL, so you must do the steps in this order:
    (1) ALTER TABLE to add the column(s) (if this hasn't been done already)
    (2) UPDATE the table, to put unique values in all rows for the Primary Key column(s)
    (3) Add the PRIMARY KEY constraint
You need to do step (2) before you do step (3)

  • Translation of layout set properties

    Hello,
I created a custom layout set to display customized properties: size, date of creation and date of last modification.
All is good, except that i need to translate column headers to different languages. I added them in collection renderer settings (displayed proeprties: contentlength, created, modified)
I know how to do translate using Portal Content Translation, but these translation are for portal content items only. How do i translate those  i.e column header names)
    Any help will be appreciated!

Wrong space, this is the Netweaver Gateway space - nothing to do with Portal Content!

  • Layout set for XML Forms.

    Hi,
I am developing a 'who is who' (contacts) page using XML Form builder.
Now, I want each contact to be displayed in a credit card design.
So, I could think about two different options for that
    1. Adding the design as a background image. tried to add in the XML form itself; but it is not properly rendering. Is there any option to set it using Layout set(CollectionRenderer)?
    2. Adding style sheet in XML form builder itself. But I am completely illiterate about this. Can write the design in a css file?
I could find two options in the FORM
    Row Style:
(Style sheet for the table rows)
    Column Style:
(Style sheet for the table columns.)
Can some one provide me a solution? or suggest some better solution.?

  • When adding columns, why do I get overrides on style?

    Hi all,
When I'm adding columns in a certain document I end up with the new columns having overrides on them. How can I avoid this?
The columns I added are seen in the middle.
As you can see the they all get a "shift down" by -22 pt.
I use this shift down on some other place in the document, but the table columns are clean from that kind of override, and just by selecting a column and adding 4 new columns "to the right" of that column, I would expect the new ones to get the exact same properties as the one selected.
Can anyone try to explain what might be wrong with my document or way of working?
Adding info: It seems there's something in the styles - many properties on them... This has noting to do with cells specifically. Just adding a textbox results renders the text this way as well, with the baseline shift (only no override symbol).
    Best regards,
    Andreas

Ah... now I get it. The default styles of the document were set to a specific paragraph style and another character style.
Setting the defaults to [Basic Paragraph] and None respectively seems to put everything in order.
(You set a default by clicking outside the document so that nothing is selected, and then you select the styles [Basic paragraph] and None)
    Case closed.

  • Layout Set: How to add a new field in a layout Set?

    Hi ABAPPERS.
    Question:
How can I add a new field in a layout set?
    Scenario:
    QC21 uses a global Layout Set ZQMECOA_GLOBAL.
There's a field required in this Layout Set which is Production Date(CAUFVD-GLTRP).
Where is the date query happening here?
Where can I insert the SELECT statement for the new field required?
    I try to look at:
OPEN_FORM and WRITE_FORM, it seems that date query or SELECTION of data is not happening here.
    Thanks.

If you are adding a header field then you will extend the header structure in CRM and do the same with Item structures for Item fields. You will use EEWB or similar technique in the CRM backend to extend the header or item.
These extended fields in the backed are available in customer_h or _i structures in the order object that can be read and modified in the Header BAdI or Item BAdi.
If you think that this message is cryptic or not enough, then you should search for Extension Guide in this forum and read the document.

  • Looking for a two-column CSS layout

I am looking for a two-column CSS layout that is centered
    with blank space
on the sides, so the layout does not expand across the entire
    screen, but
instead uses a portion of it (such as 75%). The left column
    would be for
navigation and I haven't decided if I want it to be liquid or
    fixed, but the
right column for content would be liquid. There would also be
    a heading div
and navigation div across the top and a footer across the
    bottom.
While looking for sample sites I keep finding ones that use
    three columns,
and I'm worried that if I remove the third column that the
    layout will break
at some point, even if I don't see it in my test browsers.
    I'm also
discovering that some of the sample pages out there don't
    respond well when
I resize the browser window. The columns don't have a minimum
    width or they
stack on top of each other at some point.
There are so many different techniques to use when designing
    a layout with
CSS, some better than others, that I thought maybe some
    people here may
already know what's tried and true and what should be
    avoided. Are any
layouts robust enough to allow a third column to be added at
    a future date
if needed? I also like the idea of putting the content div
    first in the
code, to improve search engine indexing and also to aid those
    who may be
using a screen reader, but if that feature makes the coding
    much more
complex then I could see why I might avoid it for now.

  • Example Named Column Report Layout?

    Howdy,
Using APEX 3.1.2, I've successfully setup and tested Apache FOP for a print server. I'm hoping to create a multi-line report layout to emulate the MS Access (of Evil) one this app is replacing, but I'm having trouble getting started.
It seems that I need to create a Named Column report layout. I've been scouring this forum, the web, and even the new Pro APEX book to find an example of the contents of even the simplest of these XSL-FO files, but I can't find one anywhere. Granted, a little XSL-FO experience would help here, but I can't seem to glean enough from the web to put the pieces together, at least as it applies to APEX. It seems that the examples I do find contain static data, whereas it looks like I should be creating a template form for APEX to populate for passing onto the FOP engine.
Does anyone have a simple two-column layout they'd be willing to share? Or a good weblink?
    TIA!

  • Adding column headings

I am using RAS server to create dynamic columns in my report. But the column headings are not coming.
Isnt there any way to set the heading for the newly added columns?
Any idea what i am missing?
Here is a code i am using
Private Sub AddTableFromDataSet(ByVal ds As System.Data.DataSet, ByVal crTable As CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.ISCRTable)
' Add the dataset as a data source to the report
            m_boReportClientDocument.DatabaseController.AddTable(crTable, DBNull.Value)
            m_boReportClientDocument.DatabaseController.SetDataSource(DataSetConverter.Convert(ds), "TEST")
            Dim ifield As Integer
' Add a field to the report canvas
            Dim CrField As CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.ISCRField
            For Each dtfield In m_boReportClientDocument.Database.Tables(0).DataFields
                ifield = m_boReportClientDocument.Database.Tables(0).DataFields.Find(dtfield.Name.ToString, CrFieldDisplayNameTypeEnum.crFieldDisplayNameName, CeLocale.ceLocaleUserDefault)
                CrField = DirectCast(m_boReportClientDocument.Database.Tables(0).DataFields(ifield), Field)
                CrField.HeadingText = CrField.Name
                CrField.Description = "TEST"
                m_boReportClientDocument.DataDefController.ResultFieldController.Add(-1, CrField)
            Next
        End Sub
    Thanks in advance

You either have to add the heading yourself, or you can use
    reportClientDoc.ReportDefController.ReportObjectController.AddByName("{Orders.OrderID}", "OrderID")
This doesn't let you set anything about the objects, so it would probably be better to add them separately.

  • Custom Layout Set

    Hi people.
I am trying to create new, custom layout set, by copying existing sets and adding / removing features.
My target is to create a layout set similar to ConsumerExplorer, but with a small addition - "Search" option.
I have tried to play with the Admin breadcrumb, and also tried to add "Search from here" command through UI Commands, but unsuccessful.
Could anyone please tell me how I can add the "Search" option to ConsumerExplorer without showing the whole admin toolbar?
Points will be awarded, of course.

    Hi,
The standard ConsumerExplorer layout set contains the Search from here command as part of the hover menu of the root element. Can you explain what exactly do you need?

  • Update Shared Column on Document Set creation

    hi,
I have a cloud business app connected to sharepoint online,
on certain actions i create a document set in a sharepoint library , the document set i use has a shared column set - i would like to set this value at creation time or just after creation so that any documents added inherit the value.
from the cloud business app i am using the CSOM to create the document set (based on steven curran's post
    http://sharepointfieldnotes.blogspot.com/2010/06/making-your-sharepoint-2010.html)
    Any ideas?
    Thx

    Hi mrP,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to update the shared column on document set creation.
I suggest you create a workflow to do it.
You can create the workflow as the below:
For the workflow Start Options, select “Start workflow automatically when an item is created”.
After the above, publish the workflow.

  • Requirement based Layout Set

    Hi,
Our user has following requirements for an iview appearance. The iview (let us suppose it a km navigation iview)
is pointing to one folder. It shows all documents internal to the Folder. There should be no context menu  as these documents are meant for readers not for editors (we have a different iview for editors).
The Problem is sometimes there can be folders internal to the folder, in that case we are not able to come back as there is no breadcrumb bar.Presently we are using NewsBrowser Layout.
At last I want to summarise the requirements
    1) The Documents or Folders should not have context menu.
    2) the list of documents should appear as links.
    3) there should be breadcrumb bar available so as there are folders internal to folders + Documents and we need to come back to the Folder again.
Note: the News Browser Layout is fulfilling all the requirements apart from the fact that it is not showing breadcrumb bar.
It would be nice if we can change this Layout by adding breadcrumb bar.I have tried this by changing the Collection renderer but not success full.
Please suggest any Layout which can fulfill these requirements.Otherwise please suggest how can we create a customized Layout set for fulfilling above requirements

Go to System Administration --> System Configuration --> Knowledge Management --> Content Management --> User Interface --> Settings --> Layout set.
Search for the layout set you want to add the collection renderer to using the "Apply Filter" option.
    Edit your Layout set.
When you click on edit after choosing a layout set, you will see a property called "Collection renderer" in the layout set definition. It is a table with lots of entries. Scroll down to your collection renderer and click on the checkbox next to it.
    Then Save the Layout set.
This should add the collection renderer to the layout set.
