Adding contacts after signing in on TV Skype
After signing in I get Error 'cannot synch with contacts'

Here's the background:
Latest Skype as far as I can tell: 5.6.0.12393
Nexus 5 OS:5.0
Situation before update:
Run Skype, leave running in background and come back to it when friends IM me. Either keep it in list of tasks or remove it from list of tasks using square button but it still runs in the background. I never sign out unless it's to go on the PC to clear all history but after that I sign back in on the Nexus again.
When coming back to the app I expect Skype to present me with the Recent list so I can respond to IMs.
Situation after update:
As above but coming back to the app presents login screen. Reenter username (this is usually cached and appears after typing first 2 letters) and password to get to the Recent screen and pray no IMs have been lost while I was away.
No notifications received while logged out.
Period of time to, what I am calling, auto-logout appears variable. Last night it ran OK all night but this morning, after I responded to an IM and switched to various other tasks (browser, twitter, yahoo messenger), it logged me out sometime durung the 30 minutes before I checked again.
It's not possible to tell that I am logged out locally, the status appears to go to 'away' at the other end (I've not seen it).
Side effect: getting faster at typing password but more annoyed

I just plugged in my Iphone after 4 weeks of downloading music and adding contacts around 400 to be excact. When I plugged it in my computer it started to sync with iTunes and it whipped all my data out. I have no photos contacts nothing, so I then in a rage reset to factory defult and I cannot even listen to music I purchased because it skips. I just want my phone back
Was this the very first time you ever plugged the phone into that computer?
Did you pay attention to the prompts you were given when you plugged it in?
Did you have iCloud backups turned on before you did this? I hope so... If you did, restore the phone from the last iCloud backup from before you wiped it. If not, then the photos, etc. are gone. Apps and music can be re-downloaded. -

Hey everyone, i backup my iphone 4 a month ago after that , i defeated the final remaining enemy 'ryth' in infinity blade 2
than after 3 months i bought my new 4th gen ipad 32gb with cellular i installed unfinity blade 2 on it an when launches it it started from begining, don't know why icloud saves didn't worked. But the problem is that now on my iphone it also sarted from begining. Some discussion said backup your phone for this problem but if i backup my phone from that one month old backup will it delete my new added contacts, new messages on phone and on whatsapp?

I have lost all text messages, photos, notes and calendar dates. Also some of the apps.
I think it was my second time of syncing. Also I tunes keeps opening when no apple prod is connected, and a dialogue box tells me it cannot find the I phone. When it is not connected?..

Newly added contacts suddenly become strangers (not shared their details with you)
A newly added contact suddenly disappears after a few minutes, it's still present in my contact list, but with the gray question mark and "this person has not shared their details with you", even though in the conversation itself it says "<friend> has shared contact details with <myself>". On the other side, it seems like none of this is happening and my friend can still see my status as if I was their contact (which I am). After re-sending the contact request multiple times (which is instantly accepted, it doesn't seem to even display on my friend's side, he just instantly becomes my contact again) it seems to have sorted itself out and that person is now in my contacts, hopefully for good. Now yesterday I added a new contact and the same thing happens, she appears as a stranger about 10 minutes after accepting my contact request, even though it seemed fine on the mobile app while she was online, but now even mobile considers her as not part of my contacts, and also her profile picture isn't displaying on the mobile app. Note : there is already a thread about this in the Skype for Windows Desktop section, however since this problem has clearly nothing to do with the client you're using and is related to the platform/whatever software runs on Microsoft's servers, I'm reposting this here. Skype for Windows Desktop version 6.20.0.104 running on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, and Skype for iPhone version "idon'tknowwhat because there's no "about" page apparently" running on iOS 8.0.2, iPhone 5S. My Skype account isn't linked with any Facebook nor Microsoft account (it was, but it's been unlinked about two months ago). To avoid this thread the same fate as the linked one, that is becoming polluted by some smart-ass that believes everything is caused by a virus, corruption of the Skype folder in AppData or compromised account, let me state this right now : my password was changed, the account isn't compromised (checked with /showplaces and the only logged in clients are my desktop and my iPhone) and the AppData folder was already deleted, without success (it made things worse my making my entire contact list disappear for 24h, fortunately they slowly came back one by one), so if you have nothing to say please refrain from copy/pasting such useless answers.
Hi, I hope someone can help me. I have a similar problem to Andre (from original post a week ago below). I only use Skype to communicate with a personal friend who has recently been posted abroad (Europe) to work. I always sign in via my Microsoft account and have done since Microsoft & Skype merged and I linked the two together. My contact does the same. As my accounts are linked, my friend shows up in my contacts both as a Skype contact and also a Messenger contact. When we communicate, it is normally always via our Skype names although I can see them online under both names. On Friday night however, they came online but shortly afterwards, I noticed that the grey question mark had appeared next to their Skype name saying 'Person has not shared their contact details with you'. They are still showing up ok under their Messenger name as it appears as offline, so I have been a bit confused why this has happened and I haven't yet had a chance to speak to my friend to ask them. I decided to look at the Skype help forum and came across this post by Andre who has had a similar problem, although he says it has happened with a couple of new contacts but his problem has now been resolved. I was hoping someone could help me and give me some advice as to what I should do now. I have checked my computer and have the latest Skype version for desktop installed. I am using Internet Explorer 11; Windows 7 Home version - 64 bit. I also have the Skype app on my android smartphone which has the most recent updated version. I don't really use Skype on my phone although I did log-in on late Friday afternoon but didn't stay on long before I signed out. I have read in posts in the past about corrupted files etc on Skype but because I don't know much about these things, I don't like to mess about with the programs that are installed on my computer because I don't know what I'm doing. The person who responded to Andre's query was a staff moderator called Aimi, who had previously told him to send the name of the contact in question who had the grey question mark appear beside them. Please help me. My Apple id not be used in iCloud. After sign in, to iCloud, I have error massage: This Apple ID cannot be used to sign in to iCloud. Create a new Apple ID or sign in with a different one.
For whatever reasons, the "None" option is not always available to all users and I think it may be related to what country you live in. Short of contacting Apple to get it straightened out, if you haven't done anything with your new ID ye - you can create an Apple ID without a credit card and simply abandon the one that you just created.

The two big things that you have to remember for this to work are ... you have to sign out of your existing Apple ID .... Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap the ID and sign out. Then you have to try to download a free app to bring up the window that asks you to sign in or create an ID. Read the information on the website that I referenced above.
If you have not used the original Apple ID for anything yet, you can simply ignore it and use the new one - or like I said earlier - contact iTunes support and ask them to help you sort it out.

Locking PDF but only allow further signatures & get the list of of changes made after signing

I have looked at Adobe Acrobat 9.0 and found the Signing > locking feature which blocks any changes after the document is signed. I need to know whether using Acrobat SDK, one could implement a similar locking option via plugin in a way that it ONLY allows further blank signature fields to be created or sign existing ones and locks all other changes. If possible, any pointers to API functions would be appreciated.
If the above is not possible using Acrobat SDK 9.0 then can the SDK provides a list of all the set of changes made after the signing is performed (at the time of verification) in the form of some codes which can guide the plugin author about what change after signing was done e.g.
a blank signature field was signed
a blank signature field is created
watermark has been applied
form is filled
sticky notes/stamps/other annotations are added

I signed a PDF ( having no prior signature or blank signature fields ) using Adobe Acrobat 9.0 and locked it. I am now not able to create more signatures on this PDF. I believe I can't add more signatures even using the Acrobat SDK and Lock means complete lock-down of the document. This is different to what you said " it restricts modifications EXCEPT for other signings" or may be I am not understanding it clearly.
I created two blank signature fields. When I clicked on the first, there is no Lock settings at the time of signing. I believe because If it is locked then the next signature can't be signed. With only a single signature field present, the lock feature is there.
So I believe I have to resort to the option of identifying the changes in a revision and then if it the change is related to say adding stamps, sticky notes prompts the user at the time of verification.
Can some one point me to the API functions set which identify list the objects which have changed after signing.

How can I find the latest added contacts?

I'm syncing my Address Book with my Nokia 6233, and it works fine. However, the 6233 has limited contacts memory (500 entries), so I had to create a special group within Address Book which is the one synced to the phone.
Problem is, whenever I add a new entry IN the phone, and later sync, the entry in question is put in the "All" group, not in the "6233" that I created. If I don't pay attention and remember which entries I put in the phone, and move them to the "6233" group, they are deleted from the phone during the next sync (because they don't belong to the "6233" group, of course).
My question is: how can I get the list of the latest added entries after a sync? I tried to do a smart group based on the modification/update date (which every entry has), but I can't: Smart Group don't offer a "last modified on" criteria, as iTunes does, for instance.
Using Spotlight to look for the string "Updated: [date]" (which shows at the bottom right of each entry) did not work either, probably because the data is wrapped by XML code that makes it understable only for Address Book.

batBesides getting a phone with more memory, and besides sending thank you notes ("It's been nice knowing you, goodbye forever!"), I can only think of specifying a field to mark the entry on your phone.
For example, perhaps putting 6223 in the notes. If your phone has a notes field, then that should work. Then the Smart Group in Address Book could search for 6223 in the Notes field.
As for your Spotlight search of "Update: [date]", I believe that didn't work because what you see in Address Book is just the interface, just some text for your convenience that isn't necessarily stored. In other words, the "Update: " part is just decoration. Nice try, though.
What I found works when searching for contacts based on modification date outside of Address Book is to use Finder's Find (in the File menu), or Command-F. For the first criteria, you can choose "Kind" and then "Other…" and then "Address Book Person Data". The next criteria can be "Last Modified" to narrow the results down to those which have been modified since a certain date, such as by syncing. I'm not sure how useful that will be for this scenario, though. The contacts will be listed by people's names, at first. Unfortunately, the names will end up becoming the undistinguishable file names being referenced for the search as as you scroll. -
PDF Doc is Corrupted after Signing
The document is fine until I sign it and publish to Web. Local files are not affected by this. All Calibri fonts were removed since that caused the previous error. Calibri fonts were ok for the past six months. Now Calibri will not publish correctly as embedded font.
I've removed all known Calibri font from this file.
Error is produced only after signing document.
Is it likely that Calibri font is embedded in signature? If so, how can I remove the font from signature?

The error began concerning Calibri font even before signing the document. After tinkering with the document, getting rid of the error by removing the Calibri font, I signed the document just to see if it returned. Now I'm getting an encrypted conglomeration with the http://essn.us/ss.pdf although the other file is not signed. It works fine.

install the Desktop Manager. you can download it from the software section of the Blackberry.com website.
take the one "without Media manager" and install it on your PC.
then after openingthe Desktop Manager :
first, do a backup of what's in your Blackberry Storm
then you can do a manual synchronization, just choose ascii file and follow the instructions.

Problems such as yours are sometimes caused by files that should belong to you but are locked or have wrong permissions. This procedure will check for such files. It makes no changes and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem.
First, empty the Trash.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select it, then drag or copy it — do not type — into the Terminal window:
