Adding custom stamps to many pages in white space.

Is there any way to add a custom stamp to every page of a PDF book and having it placed into the white space on the document? I have found a script that will do every thing except for the 'white space' part of my query, so I don't think I will have much luck.
Watermarks will probably not work in this instance, the stamp needs to be noticible but not in the way, and the watermark will encouter the same placement problem (as it is preferable if the stamp/watermark is not getting the in way of the drawing pdf's content).
Any help will be appreciated, just let me know if you need more clarification.

The question is what do you mean by "white space"? Is it always the same area on the page (like a 2" margin), or is it a different location for each page, where there happens to be no text or images? The former is possible, the latter only partially, and is very difficult to implement with a script.

"500 internal server error" after adding custom fields to Address page

I need to display custom fields on the "Addresses" and the "Personal Data" pages. For that, we added custom CI_INCLUDE fields in both PA0006 and PA0002 tables as per instructions below

custom fields show up OK in page "Personal Data". However when trying to browse to page "Addresses"
we get the following error:
"500 internal server error - com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.context.ContextException: MappedNodeInfo(DetailView.SelectedInfotype): unknown child node Area8 ".
"Area8" is one of the custom fields we added in PA0006 (Address infotype).
any idea what is wrong? maybe Badi HRPAD00INFTYUI cannot handle 2 infotypes in the same time?

Its clearly saying contect binding error. Have you mapped correctly from FcComponent to VcComponents.
FcCompoenets for Model logic.
Check the mappings correctly.
If it is complete custom or new field then there will be could of steps.
1) Reimport the model
2) map new field to FcComponent
3) Bind new Fields from Fc to Vc

Adding Custom Stamps in Acrobat Reader X

I'm wondering how users of Acrobat Reader X can add their own custom stamps to documents. I create collateral for sales people across the U.S. who like to add their own contact information to the pieces. They were doing this by using the custom stamp feature that I enabled using Acrobat Pro 9. One of our sales folks decided to update his Acrobat to the newer version and it doesn't seem to have the same capabilities. I know there is a Signature tool, but that isn't quite the same. Can anyone help me figure this out? I'd appreciate it.

Customer's PDFs look fine until "white space" is cut off

We've got a commercial customer using InDesign CS2 and Distiller 7 that is having issues with the bottoms of their pages getting cut off when our RIPs (ECRM) delete the "white space" around their pages. In some cases (but not all), removing the white space also seems to be taking off the bottom two or three rows of pixels.
The PDFs look fine when they arrive, but once the RIPs get them, the bottom of the page gets cut off (sometimes).
I can actually see which pages are going to cut off by using the Acrobat crop command and telling it to "Remove White Margins."
They're the only customers we have (and we have dozens) that are having this problem. What can I do to help them fix it?
Here is the file as they've sent it. Standard white margin around the page and no oddball crop or art boxes.
When I check the "Remove White Margins" box, however, this is what happens (and it appears that's what our RIPs are doing, too, as the results from the RIPs mirror this.
It's difficult to see in the small preview here, but Acrobat is now cropping off the bottom of the image (not just white space). Question is, how do we stop Acrobat from identifying this text/image as white space and allowing it to be removed?

I decided to take Jerrold's advice and converted the pdf to a jpeg to see if borderless printing was possible with a picture. Before printing I selected 'Scale to Fit' then 'Fill Entire Paper' and it worked! It printed the entire page including the 1cm at the bottom that was previously cut off.
So bascially with this HP printer if I want to print PDF's without leaving a 1cm gap at the bottom of the page, I first need to open the PDF in Preview, Save as jpeg, then print using the settings above.
A little annoying but at least it's a solution! Thanks everyone for your help!

404 error while adding custom webpart to the page

I have my solution working in development environment. I deployed the wsp in prod env. While adding one specific webpart to the page leads to 404 error page.

I would say that somewhere in your specific method call a web service, but it cannot find. You can check the related code snippet.
I suggest that you can try to store the url in a webpart property so that it can be modified easily.

Adding one item on many pages/many media

Is it possible to create one item and have it published in different places? Sometimes the same item should be published on different pages. We don't want to copy it, because then the editing of the item has to be done on every page.
Sometimes the same item should be published both on the intranet site and on the extranet site and on a palm, but it must be this only item and not three different copies. Is there a way?

You can publish the page (folder in 3.0) the item is on as a portlet. The item (and other items on the page) can then be published in multiple places.

White space in IWeb site

I've just created my first site very easily, but have an enormous amount of white space at the bottom. This amounts to 4 or 5 pages if printed. How do I get rid of it?! Any help would be very welcome. Thanks

Thanks for this. I've already reduced the footer to 0, but still have pages of white space. I did start with a blank page, rather than a pre-formatted one, so maybe this has something to do with it?

White space after flowed layout/expandable fields?

I have a few pages on a form with a flowed layout where the text fields expand.The problem I am having is when the text field expans and continues on the following page,its leazing an entire white space right after it.Is there a way to do this so eventhough the text field expands onto the next page,the content on the next page continues right after the expanded field without a page of white space?

Hi,
You need to check Allow page breaks within content option for the subform. Object > Subform > Allow page breaks within content.
By default even for the field this option would be checked if it is not You need to do samething even for the field.
This would work.

Adding Custom Breadcrumb for SharePoint 2013 Custom Master-Page With A Custom Separator.

I have successfully converted an HTML file to a SharePoint 2013 Custom Master-Page with relevant style sheets. But when I used within the SharePoint site I could not find the breadcrumb. So I want to know how to do that? For that breadcrumb I need a custom
separator like an arrow like in the below.
As you can see the separator is a custom built one. To have this custom separator in my HTML I have used the following code snippet.

In General if you want to modify standard BSP component, you need to enhance the component first and then you need to enhance the particular view you want to modify. You can directly modify the .htm page in view after enhancement.

I tried editing them in Sharepoint designer and adding a zone.. but its not supproting "runat=server" tag.

Adding a custom stamp to a large number of files.

I need to build a batch process to add a custom stamp to a large number of PDF files. I want to do this without displaying tne files. I'm not sure where to go to learn about how to do this. I've found some sample Jscript code for the for stamps but don't really understand how to invoke the code in a batch process. Thanks for th guidance. Bianca

It should be noted the "Batch Processing" is only available with the Professional or better versions.

Creating Custom Stamp

Hello all.
I am working on Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard. I am trying to create a custom stamp of my signature. When I import my signature , it shows up perfectly (reading horizontally, like I want it), but when I go to insert the stamp , it is rotating it 90 degrees clockwise for some reason (reading top to bottom). I know I can edit the stamp and make it horizontal again (reading left to right) but that is quite a hassle considering I use the stamp 6-10 times a day. I would really like to insert the stamp and just print the page. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this or why the stamp is rotating.

I figured it out!
was having the same issue and it cost me half the morning at work.
when i was creating the stamp, i needed some comments and markups added and to "flatten it" i was printing it to PDF and then croping the page to the size i wanted and then importing it as a stamp. anyway, when i was printing to pdf, in the print dialogue box, in the section "Page Handling", the option "Auto-Rotate and Center" was checked, this was forcing my stamp to be centered and the page orientation to be landscape. For kicks n giggles, I unchecked it, the page orientation changed to Portrait and my stamp image went to the upper left. I cropped my result as I normally would, and upon creating the new custom stamp, it was right as rain. hope this helps!

Custom stamp naming

I've created some custom stamps in Acrobat Standard X. I then edit the pdf in my stamps folder which contains the stamp and add text fields and use javascript to create a custom colculation script when the stamp is used (to bring up a prompt so the user can type text which will be added to the stamp). The script references the template name for the stamp. The name, which is randomly generated by acrobat when I create the stamp initially, is cumbersome. I'd like to give the template some unique name that is easier to remember rather than the random string generated by acrobat. How do I accomplish this? If I open the pdf in a text editor I can find the string but if I change it and save the file it corrupts the file. Thanks in advance for your help on this!

I'm confused. Following the instructions above I open the stamp file from the stamps folder. I select Tools>Document Processing>Page Templates. I select the template, with the randomly generated name, that corresponds to the stamp. In the Name: field I edit the stamp's name (everything between the # and the = symbols). Upon changing the name all buttons but the Close and the Add... buttons gray out. I click Add... and it adds a new template but leaves the original random-name template in the list. Can I now point to the newly added template in the code I have attached to my stamp or do I need to still point to the old template? Also, assuming I can now point to the new template, can I delete the old template? In the alternative, can I somehow change the original randomly generated name template without adding a new template? Thanks for your help!
