Hi,
Screen exits add fields to screens in R/3 applications. SAP creates screen exits by placing special subscreen areas on a standard R/3 screen and calling a customer subscreen from the standard screens flow logic.
the tcode is cmod...
1.From the main screen of the Project management transaction, proceed as follows:
Select Enhancement components and choose Change.
2.Choose Edit component.
3.Choose the screen exit and double click on it
4.Create your subscreen using the Screen Painter.
5.Design your screen to be added to the standard screen and activate the particular screen and return back to the flow logic .
6.Choose the PAI and PBO to write down the logic.
7.Generate your screen and choose Back (the green arrow) to return to the Project management transaction.
8.Go to the transaction ME22 to view the customer defined screen exit.
9.Enter the purchase order number and press Enter.
10.Go to the menu header --> Details.
11.Purchase number is visible on the standard screen

Adding Data Field to Sales Analysis Report

Does anyone know how to add data fields to Sales Analysis Reports, either in PLD or CR? On Sales Analysis by Customer, I need to add the total quantities for all items sold for the sales included in the report, excluding negative quantities.

You can create your own Query Report for getting all the desired outputs and it will be easy to show in reports also.....

Adding data field in query print layout designer (PLD)

Dear Experts/Gurus,
I would like to add data field in query PLD in repetitive area1 but it can't. The query I made excluding sequence no., so I think I must use datafield for that. I use textfield in the repetitive area header1. is it correct what I have thought, I mean is it really datafield can't be add in the print layout designer if it is from query ? I appreciate your answer. TIA

No you can't, you will have to recreate the query with the missing field and recreate a new print layout for this. Is still a flaw in SAP B1.
If you go to the service market place under education you can get the flashbook for the print layout design and the query manager and wizard, study them, they are of great help to understand the technology behind the PLD and the queries in SAP B1.

Hi Sid,
You need not modify the xml file. You have to change the JSP file(not sure which one) for your application using the netweaver developer studio.

Data source Delta problem very urgent

We are in Media Company and just implemented SAP BI and the datsource
used by us is 0ME_ISM_AM_ORDER_1.
The process is when a order is booked . there is a version created and
if the order is modified "n" number of times, then "n" number of
versions are created and this creates prblem in our delta load as the
last version should exist but in this case all the changes in one order
(i.e that many number of versions) are created and delta load is unable
to finish.(because all versions keep updating in delta queue ) we are
allocated 2 hours to complete delta but here the process of delta keeps
running .
i delta queue is all version can be found.
please help

Dear Anil
Please try to run the V3 update with queued delta option as it will run the periodic collective run where last version will be maintained.
Once the delta brings data to RSA7 let us load the same into ODS(Change log will maintian the versions for Number version created) and then into CUBE, this is very specific deisgn suggestion for the kind of scenario that u mentioned below.

Hi Manjula,
Leave the id and infocube field blank. Just provide the infosource name.
BTW is this a direct update master data object? In that case all this is not relevant.
Check if it appears as an Infoprovider.

Adding date field

Never have made a form in Adobe, I have a form in PDF but it is not a PDF fillable form it is a text document converted to a PDF to use as a form. I need a form that can be uploaded onto SharePoint and I can retreive date from it like yes & no to questions asked names of vessel and dates.

Very Urgent - Transient attribute setting and getting problems

Hi,
I am using a DFF to set date but since DFF can store only varchar data and I need date datatype for the same,
I have create a EO based on per_all_people_f table of HRMS.
Then I created a VO based on this EO and added a column to_date(substr(attribute11,1,10), 'RRRR/MM/DD') to get a date column so that I can display date calendar on my OAF page.
Then I created a page based on this VO and creaed a table region and selected this new column instead of attribute11 column.
A date field is diaplayed on the page but when I use calendar to set date for this field and try to get the value in processFormRequest, I get null instead of actual date.
Its really very urgent. I wadted lot of my time on this but could not find any solution.
Please help...

Anyway, I have used Standard Date value set for attribute11 field but since datatype of the attribute field is 'VARCHAR2', in EO and hence in VO, it is taking datatype as VARCHAR2.

Using a date field to remove 'duplicates'

Hi all,
Really struggling here, would appreciate some fresh ideas !!
I have a ton of rows in a table that are duplicates with the exception of a date field that differs very slightly.
e.g.
TO_CHAR(START_DATE,'
13-JUN-2007 12:39:03
13-JUN-2007 12:39:10 << dup
18-JUN-2007 05:49:15
18-JUN-2007 05:49:21 << dup
13-JUN-2007 09:02:25
13-JUN-2007 09:02:32 << dup
It would be great if I could identify these dups in SQL and remove them. I've sampled the data and the times are out by between 5 and 7 seconds so if I could weed out all rows that have another row with a time that differs by <10 seconds that would be ideal.
My other, but not as thorough, idea was to drop the seconds and I would be then able to drop them as if they were true duplicates ... run the risk of not catching some that way though.
Any ideas?

Assuming that you could legititmately have two records for the same day that are more then 10 seconds apart (and you would not consider these to be duplicates, then something along these lines should do it. In the initial select, I have bolded the "duplicates"

This keeps the oldest of the duplicates by sdate, if you want to keep the newest, then something like:

SOLAR01 / 02 Administration tab - making 'Plan Data' fields non-editable

For the SOLAR01 / 02 t-codes, and under the Administration tab, how can one make the 'Plan Data' non-editable for the users. This is required so that the planned data is controlled only by the Admin / Mgmt team and the functional and technical team can update only the 'Actual Data' fields.

I would like to create a project plan similar to MS Project with tasks, activities etc. and having planned and actual dates. The ASAP roadmap structure is more suitable for this kind of thing, but it does not provide a tab to add the planned and actual dates.
The SOLAR01 provides the Admin tab for the planned and actual dates, but it has a constraint that the structure it creates is only 2 levels deep. Besides, I don't want the Org Structure, Master Data and Business Processes sub-folders to appear under each task / activity.
Any ideas if any of the above can be achieved?

Adding Custom fields to VL02N...very urgent

Hi Friends,
I have come up with a requirement, where i need to add 2 custom fields namely "EOD INDICATOR and FREIGHT AMOUNT" in a customized additional tab at the header level in VL02N transaction.I need to update the freight amount in the deliveries that are picked up by a report program where, the shipment number and the freight cost are the inputs. The problem is that, how to update the data in the delivery through VL02N and database.
I found a BAPI, named "BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE", where in at the header data we dont have fields for the custom fields i stated above. I want to know, how to enhance a BAPI, so that we can update the data for the outbound delivery and the database.
In the BAPI, in tables I found EXTENSION1 and EXTENSION2 tables. Can I use these tables to update my fields?
Let me know the way, like how to go ahead to update the customized fields in tcode using BAPI or some other way as soon as possible..it's very urgent..

In Addnl Data Tab presently having following fields which i needs to be changed.

Above mentioned fields i have to change for Example i to maintain, Project Name, Responsible person name etc.

Hi,
the additional data tab is controlled by means of classes created in DMS.
if your requirement is something like,
project name
responsible person name etc..
for this - in CL01, you can create class, say Project XYZ
in CT04 - you can create characteristics as project name and person name..etc for this class.
in each characteristics you can maintain the values which will serve the requirement.
