Adding Discoverer Worksheet leaves space at the top of the page in Portal

hi guyz
I have put an image on the top of the page. When I add a discoverer worksheet on the remaining part, it leaves a small space on the top of the page thus bringing the image a bit down.
If I remove that worksheet, it behaves normally.

Newly added discoverer responsibility does not open the workbook sheets

Adding reports to newly added discoverer responsibility does not open the workbook sheets
Actually its a new responsibility where i add existing workbook, also shared the business area but when trying to execute the report through my user firstly it says "Workbbok cannot be expanded, Unable to open workbook" later when i close the page i get the below error
“Contact with the Discover server has been lost. To continue with your work, please restart Discoverer Plus. If this problem persists, please contact your Oracle Application Server Administrator” error message.
Please suggest.

I have 3 columns and they have spaces btw them that I cannot close the gap on.

Whatever the version, you can click on the gutter figure and edit it.
Click once on the column and a second time on the Gutter measurement.

Too Much Space on the Page

Why is there an extra three inches of space below the lowest object on my pages in preview (and published)? The depth is set to default standard and there are no items or boxes stretching it out. This has happened more than once.

Can't get rid of space without the page shifting out of view

Hello. I've got a big space appearing above my title line in this page. http://www.sarahpellerdesign.com/jordan/schooner.html See how there is a lot of white space above the words "Schooner Adventuress"? So, I went to the code and saw this on line 56: <p>& n b s p;</p> (put spaces in there, otherwise it won't show up)
I tried to delete that line and it resulted in the entire page below the nav bar shifting over to the right, so that it is sort of "attached" to the right end of the nav bar. When I preview it in the Chrome browser, it looks like nothing's changed, but it remains shifted to the right in dreamweaver. Unfortunately, in that position, I can't get to the content. It's stuck off the side of the page and I can't scroll over to it.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Sarah -
Code view is a better place to delete unwanted code precisely.
In design view you can accidently remove more than you intended and disrupt your layout.
You also have some wonky partial table code at the very bottom.

On adding a URL in URLInclude item, the page times out

I'm trying to display the contents of a URL in the base OA Framework page by specifying the URL in URLInclude item, but the page times out once this item is added.
I also tried using a java code to read the contents of a URL and display the contents in the base page, but there again the page times out.
Has anyone faced this issue with use of URLInclude. Should there be any property set within applications to bypass proxy or something similar in order to read the contents of an external URL. Please throw some light on the possible reasons as to why specifying the URL will cause the page to time out. The URL that I'm specifying has only 2 sentences in there, so it is not a big page that we are trying to read here.

Can we change the properties of the Page in Portal?

Is it possible to change the properties of the Page? I want to change the height and width properties of the page, but i dont see the properties in the list. Can you please guide?

Hi Sai
You can change the page properties. Right click on portal page > object. it will open the page object properties.
If a page is locked, you can open it in read-only mode. then you need to unlock the page object. refer to [Page Editing|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a3/badf3d48b05d5ae10000000a11405a/content.htm]
Please check the page properties attributes. [Click here |http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/13/81a66d100011d7b84b00047582c9f7/content.htm]. this properties list is also applicable for the object type iviews/pages.

How do I force all Tabs to the right hand side, leaving space on the left?

It feels more intuitive to have the first tab against the right hand side and it's easier to find because it always remains in the same position when, eg, closing other tabs. I use TabMixPlus, but can't find the required option. Many thanks.

Ever since i uploaded 7.0, I have had problems with no web site addresses, I am unable to back space and I have to keep updating that I want my tabs on top NOT on the bottom. But what gives on the web site addresses missing and the no being able to back space?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode with all toolbars hidden.
* Press F11 to toggle full screen mode (Firefox/File > Full Screen)
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" (Linux, Windows)
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

Im getting a headache when i press space in the xcode main window the page scrolls up and down real quick, but why?

In Xcode in the main window where the code goes every time i press the space bar the page scrolls up to the top then back to the curser again really fast. If i hold my finger down on the space button then the page goes mad and i cant read anything. Please help. I am just now running Lion.

Why are my images positioned further down the page as size increases?

I'm experiencing a problem with images that I'm a little baffled about.
My image tag is listed as below and comes below text in other plain paragraph tags.
<p><img id="p_image" height="411 width=312 source={src} styleName="image"/></p>
The image is not appearing. If I decrease the height to 50 it appears (obviously skewed though) and is positioned below the text.
If I increase the height to 300 it appears but now the top of the image is further below the text.
If I set the height to 411 it doesn't appear I assume because the combination of the image height as well as the increased space between the top of the image and the preceding paragraph puts it off the page.
Why does the space below the paragraph increase as the image height increases?

I think the effect you are seeing is a result of how the lineHeight is set up. By default, the lineHeight will be calculated as 120% of the size of the largest thing on the line -- in your case, this is the inline graphic. This is designed to leave space between the line before and the line with the graphic. So it is taking the height of the graphic, multiplying by 120%, and making this the distance between the previous line and the line with the graphic. So the bigger the graphic, the bigger the space above the graphic. Normally this works well with text, but in this case you may want to get closer to "set solid". You can do this by setting the lineHeight to 100%. Or you may wish to leave a couple of percent for the descenders of the previous line. Or, another alternative that may work well for you if you really know exactly where you want the line set, you could measure the graphic, add on the number of extra pixels to leave for the descenders, and make the lineHeight a constant. So you could do something like this:

or this:
<img lineHeight="423" height="411"/>
Obviously you would still need to specify the source and any other parameters you want on the image.
Note that if you are trying to fit a 200 pixel high graphic into a 200 pixel high container, you will hit the same problem -- in order to fit the graphic, the container will have to be slightly bigger than the graphic in order to fit the descenders on the last line. This is true even if the last line contains only the graphic, and no descenders (or text) at all.
