Adding editable charts in adobe 9 pro

How do you insert an editable chart in Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional? I create bank forms and we are still behind the times. . .Just wondering if anybody has solutions out there. I'm going to attempt to insert an editable chart that has to do with Credit Scores

There isn't anything like a built-in charting component that's available. There are tricks you can do with JavaScript, but there aren't a lot of resources available that can help you learn about this specifically.

I have made some fillable forms in Adobe Acrobat pro (10.1.13), and would like to make 3 pie charts of the inputs made in the form, is that possible, if so how?
Thanks for all infos in advance.

There's no such built-in functionality in PDF forms. You can try to develop your own component (maybe in Flash), but it's going to be a very complex task.

  • Edit pdf with Adobe Reader Pro XI?

How do I edit a PDF file with Adobe Reader Pro XI?

"How" very much depends on what exactly you want to achieve.  Basically you open it in Acrobat, then use the tools to edit it.  You may need to perform text recognition (OCR) if the document is a scanned image.
If you need details how to do certain edits, you better ask in the Acrobat forum (Creating, Editing & Exporting PDFs).

  • "edit page" in adobe XI Pro

    Hello,
I just started using a Mac (MacBook Air) and I am having trouble editing a PDF using Adobe XI Pro.
On a PC, when i want to edit a page in a PDF, I choose "Edit Object Tool" from Advanced Editing Options and then when i right click a page i get to choose "Edit Page". Then the page opens in Illustrator....I make my changes and save, and the page in the PDF gets updated.
I just can't find a way to do this on my Mac.
    Can you please help???
    Thanks!

You need to set the editors first:

  • Adding bookmarks to pdf - adobe 9 pro

I have a big document that is not bookmarked. Fortunately, I can search for a certain phrase that will allow me to get to the specific pages I need. Is there a way to add bookmarks to the search results?

In a related issue I have a 600 page plus documents with over 80 bookmarks. Once I OCR the documents as one pdf is there a simple way to get Acrobat 9 pro to save the bookmarks as seperate files on my harddrive

  • Adobe X Pro - Create HTML from Editable PDF

I have created an Editable PDF in Adobe X Pro.  How do I convert this form into an HTML Version, displaying all of the fields, and permitting the viewer to complete the form and still click submit?
When I Save As HTML, it drops all of the editable fields and the format for the image is also lost.
    Any suggestions?

    Good day,

Unfortunately, form elements created within a PDF file are not directly transferable to HTML.  You may want to consider looking at Adobe FormsCentral to create HTML-based forms that your users can submit.

HP is pretty reticent to revealing "Future Plans".  It would be a real shot in the arm though if this happens!
How about it @Ty1 ?  Can you shed any light on the subject?

  • Upgrading from Adobe Acrobat Pro 6.0?

I edit proofs in Adobe Acrobat Pro v6.0. The proofs are created in a more recent version and I'm encountering more and more problems with saving comments. I obvioulsy need to upgrade to a newer version. Will I have to buy a complete new program?
    Thank you.

Yes, the earliest version from which you can upgrade to X is 7.

  • Editing Forms in Adobe Acrobat XI

How do I create a form in FormsCentral, save it in an editable PDF version, and edit it in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI?

In FormsCentral save the form as PDF using File-> Save as PDF Form...  If you do not intend for the form to use FormsCentral to collect responses then in the resulting dialog select button Don't Collect Responses.  Open the resulting file in Acrobat Pro and use File-> Save a Copy...  Open the copy in Acrobat Pro and select Tools-> Forms.  You should now be able to edit the form.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CC animation problem Help

    Good evening, dear community,
a colleague of mine has created with Sony Vegas for me an animation! Since I currently own an iMac and a MacBook both I do not have the possibility to edit the animation on Sony Vegas! That's why I switched to a different video editing program called Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
I can take any animation exactly like there in this video, which I put in the annex behind, but I do not understand how the Gray bars simply appear from the "bottom". As if there would be an invisible field where this simply out floats. I play with the thought that this is a mask, but I'm not so perfected in the program as you probably!
    The Video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfcMagqR-Vc&feature=youtu.be
I hope, you can help me.

    Hi bLaKe1337,
Which format is the animation in? Does it carry an alpha channel?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

  • Motion JPEG AVI codec unsupported by Adobe Premiere Pro CS4?

    Hello everyone,
First of all I must say English isn't my native language. Forgive me if I make any spelling mistakes or if I write inpolitely, it's not on intention.
I have a couple of videos made with a camera. The videos have an .avi extension and have a Motion JPEG codec. I can watch them on my computer just fine with both Windows Media Player as Winamp or Quicktime. However, when I try to use them in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, the videos are stuck after a few frames (half a second), even though the sound continues fine. I'm completely sure this is Adobe Premiere Pro's problem, as they DO work fine in Adobe After Effects CS4. I've tried converting the videos to another codec, but no matter what settings I use there's always much quality loss.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem in Premiere? I have read the following document: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/166/tn_16612.html but I don't understand it at all, I'm not used to working with the Propery Inspector or Lingo. If anyone could explain this document to me that would be fine too.
    Thank you in advance,
    Bib-lost25

Very well, I installed it and it seems to be working great, thanks a lot. Just a few more questions.
After 60 days, will the codec stop functioning? Will I have to download another one or buy it?
And, when editing video in Adobe Premiere Pro, there is a strange white blob in the upper right corner of my video and I can't get rid of it. It's not nice to have these on top of your videos. Can I get rid of it?
That's about it. If you can answer these two questions you'll get your 'correct answer' .
    Thank you,
    Bib-lost25

  • FCP Studio 2 compatibility with Cineform, Adobe Premiere Pro & Canopus

Currently my post workflow is on FCP Studio 1, and I am considering upgrading to FCP Studio 2 on my Mac G5. But since I am also considering getting a Windows PC which has Cineform, Adobe Premiere Pro and Canopus EDIUS installed in it for offline editing and handling of variable frame rate footage shot on Varicam, I am concerned if I can transfer the editing timelime from the PC (edited on Cineform, Adobe Premiere Pro or Canopus EDIUS) over to the Mac's FCP Studio 2 to do color grading on it using the new Color? Will the file formats and codecs used in Cineform (Cineform RAW), Adobe Premiere Pro (AVI), and Canopus EDIUS (Canopus HQ) be compatible or recognised in FCP Studio 2?
Is FCP Studio 2 able to handle footage shot using SI's 2K camera? Can Color be used to grade the 2K footages shot on the camera?
Also, do I need to make any hardware (e.g. my capture card, etc) upgrade for the above to work?

Export back to tape, and capture that in FCP. Things should work swimmingly.

  • Clicking "Edit PDF form" stops Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 from working. [FIXED]

As the title says, whenever I click "Edit PDF form" in Acrobat Pro 11, it displays the message "Adobe Acrobat has stopped working" and then when I click OK it closes.
It is a fresh install.  I tried reinstalling, by removing it first, i tried a repair, I also tried using Revo Uninstaller to clean up anything that was left after an uninstall, and still no joy.
    Any help would be appreciated.
It is running on Windows 8.1 Update (x64), and the version number for Acrobat Pro is 11.0.10.
    Thanks!
    **Update**
While I was writing this I had an epiphany, so I checked the Windows application logs which logged the following error every time Acrobat crashed...
Faulting application name: Acrobat.exe, version: 11.0.10.32, time stamp: 0x547e97af
Faulting module name: nvd3dum.dll, version: 9.18.13.4121, time stamp: 0x5474d740
    Exception code: 0xc0000005
which lists nvd3dum.dll as the culprit.  This has something to do with my Nvidia graphics card or drivers (NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600)
So after a little research I discovered a little registry tweak which "specifies the number of seconds that the GPU can delay the preempt request from the GPU scheduler. This is effectively the timeout threshold. The default value is 2 seconds." (Quoted from MSDN)
So I added the REG_DWORD value TdrDelay to the key path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers, and changed the value to 8.  After rebooting this seemed to have solved the issue I was having.
    Here's a screenshot...
    Hope this helps someone!

We created forms in acrobat 9 pro and now with XI pro cannot edit them.  Error message states that livecycle designer is required to edit forms previously created in acrobat.  Called tech support and waited for over an hour before being told that another product needed to be purchased for $300 more than the upgrade cost for acrobat pro XI!!!  From the XI FAQ - The web site states:
The following customers are eligible for a free upgrade:
Customers who purchased a prior license to Acrobat and have purchased an upgrade to Acrobat XI Pro
Customers who have an Adobe Maintenance and Support contract or purchased Upgrade Plan eligible for an Acrobat XI Pro upgrade
Active Creative Cloud Complete members whose memberships started before October 15, 2012
The one-time LiveCycle Designer upgrade is available in English, French, German, or Japanese. Eligible customers can choose which language they would like to receive. Visit the Customer Support Portal to request an upgrade.
After entering in the needed info on the support portal was told that adobe will Not honor the sales rep & web site which both said we are eligible for the free upgrade.  We asked for a full refund and will not longer be using any new adobe products.  We went back to 9 pro forms work fine and adobe lost $.  Nice work adobe - lie to customers and then act surprised that the customers want their $ back!  They told us to just toss their software DVD in the trash where IT belongs, so we did!
