Adding email address

Hello, I tried to add another email address. I have been looking for the confirmation email to that address but I have not yet received it. I wondered if I have the PayPal email address blocked for some reason.Can you give me the email address that PayPal will be using so I can see if it is on my block list, please.That is the only reason I can think of for not receiving their email yet to confirm.

For you Windows Mobile device. You go into the address book, open the contact, and can them select the e-mail address to send e-mail. Another way is in you new message start typing out the e-mail address or contact name and it then should auto-populate suggestions. It has to be in your contacts list for it to autopopulate.
It will not automaticly add alien e-maill addresses by design. The email client does not have its own address list but uses the contacts list for e-mail addresses. So to add one, just tap on the sender and hit save. That will take you to the contacts list, to either add it to an existing contact OR add a new contact for that e-mail address.

If I understand you correctly, while adding email addresses to any particular email IDs you're can't see multiple email IDs. Email addresses are stored under the contact names. You can save multiple email address under one contact. Now while putting name in To/CC field you should be typing the names of the contact and when pressing/selecting names you would be prompted with multiple email addresses.

When you device is POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery. This make a reboot to your device which minor issues with the BlackBerry device.

Adding Email Addresses from Mail to Address Book

I send out a lot of emails that I would like to save in my address book. Address Book automatically sorts the address by first name or last name. This makes it virtually impossible to locate daily or hourly all the emails that you saved to your Address Book. Especially when your Address Book has over 3,000 addresses. Is there anyway to save email addresses using Mail directly to a Group in the Address Book?

Welcome to the discussions, Big.
If you select an address in an email message you can drag it and drop it onto a group in Address Book, making a new contact and adding it to the group in a single operation. You can't do this from Mail's Previous Recipients window, though you can use the PR window, ordered by date, to see who you sent email to three days ago - but not hourly.

Deleting auto added email addresses

How can I delete auto added and wrong email addresses ?
Doe the new o's 5.1 do this ?

The only way that I know of to delete incorrect or old email addresses is to restore the iPad back to defaults (which I assume that you don't want to do) - I'm not aware of anything having been added in iOS 5.1 that allows you to edit that list of email addresses. Adding email addresses from numbers to address book

I am a high school coach and recently I had my players put their names and email addresses directly into my computer using numbers 08. My problem is that every time I try to drag them into my address book, it opens up Mail as if to send out an email. Please help! I can't even copy and paste because it automatically opens Mail. Thanks!

Open your Numbers spreadsheet.
Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the email address cell without clicking on it.
Command+C (Same as Control + Click, and select Copy) to copy the contents of the cell.
Open Address Book.
Click Plus to add a new card.
Command+V (same as Control + Click, and select Paste) to Paste the contents of the cell into the email address field.
Back to Numbers, Copy the next email, back to Address Book, Plus to add card, Paste into the email field, and so on.
Alternate idea: Depending on how many names you have to enter, just print the spreadsheet and find a fast, accurate typist, and put them to work entering info in Address Book.
Using the shortcuts Command+C to copy and Command+V to paste, versus using the menus has literally saved me hours of time over the years!

Adding email address in file export form

i m creating file export form to run campaign.
my requirement is to add email address to file export form because i m working with 3rd part mail sender company.
but this attribute isn't in attribute list.
how can i add this attribute?

Hi Sevtap,
for any fields that you not provided from standard you can easily create your own attribute context and use BAdi CRM_IM_ADD_DATA_BADI to fill the fields during campaign execution when generating the export file.

Adding email addresses to SPECIFIC groups in Address book

Hi
I have created a folder in MAIL which receives specific mails. I want to add all these senders to a SPECIFIC group in my address book. The only option I see will add all these senders to my general address book and that's no good since I want to be able to contact this specific group only.
Is that possible and how ?

The script you want to use from the collection of included scripts is Add Addresses (Mail) which adds addresses found in the selected messages (in the header fields "From", "To", "Cc", and "Bcc") to the Address Book. This is much more flexible than the "Add Sender to Address Book" available in Mail and provides a convenient way for creating mailing lists.
* Select all messages you want to use for creating the mailing list (for creating a mailing list, you would choose all messages in a mailbox which contains all messages on a certain topic).
* Run the script and you get a list with all addresses contained in the selected messages - mark all the addresses you want to add to the Address Book using the checkboxes.
* From the popup menu, choose which group you want to update with the selected addresses or select "Create new Group..." and enter the name for the new group to be created.
* The script checks whether an address is already present before adding it to the Address Book in order to avoid duplicate entries. If additional information is available for an entry already present in the Address Book (e.g., full name information for an entry which had prior been email-only), the entry will be updated.

IPhone auto added email addresses to a computer??

Just got a pop up saying something along the lines of "gmail address has been added to 'MacBook pro'" with the only option to click ok to go back to using the phone.
The message appeared right when I unlocked to access my phones home screen without any other known action.
I also don't have a computer with the name 'MacBook pro'. I named my older MacBook Pro something else.
I've never seen this - Anyone have any idea what this message could mean? Has someone hacked my phone or is there a setting I'm missing?

Getting powershell to automate the adding of email address policy

I have a need to pull information from a file and automate the process of adding Email Address Policies
I am trying to run a script but I'm hitting dead ends
the first part of the script need to launch and login which I can get to happen but I cant get the second part the of script to actually start up after first part has logged in.
here is everything it needs to do from beginning to end

What kind of errors are you running into? I would encase your values for -EnabledEmailAddressTemplates in single quotes because the '%' is a modulus (see
help about_Arithmetic_Operators) and could be causing you issues.
New-EmailAddressPolicy -Name east -IncludedRecipients MailboxUsers -EnabledEmailAddressTemplates 'SMTP:%s%[email protected]'
Also, you don't have_to run the exchange scripts at the beginning to load up the exchange management shell. You can just load the PSSnapin via the following line:

Hotmail accounts in Mail - automatically recalling email addresses

I've managed to link two hotmail accounts to MAIL yet when i switch between inboxes in mail and start a new message, it is only picking up email addresses from one of the accounts (the first one I linked).
If I type the start of an email address into the 'TO' area it starts to suggest email addresses from the first account - but none from the second account.
Other than adding email addresses to the address book, is there anyway to have MAIL automatically pick up email addresses from both accounts?

Mail will only autocomplete an address that you've previously sent email to; it can't find addresses from Hotmail. So unless you've used those addresses you're wanting to see in that particular account, they won't show up, no matter which account you use.
You can add them to Address Book, or you can just start sending email to all of them and then they'll be in the Previous Recipients list the next time.

Email address not working in iMessages

I set up iMessages on all my devices (Mac, iPad, iPhone) with the same AppleID. I added email addresses to all the devices. I used an AppleID that is not my iCloud ID. I asked my daughter to test the new setup - sending text messages to my email address instead of the phone # (which she had been using and I had been receiving on the iPhone.) She sent a test text message (with picture attachment) but it only showed up in the email app on the iPad and Mac. So what went wrong?

To answer your PS first, you get an @icloud.com email address by checking off mail in system preferences >> icloud. When you check off notes, you are also asked to create the address, if you don't already have one associated with your apple id/icloud account. This sounds like where you are currently at.
When you are attempting to create the address, you're not inputting the "@icloud.com" part are you? All you need to do is input the prefix of the address you'd like to be using. Keep in mind, once you create the addess, it cannot be changed, so be careful what you pick.

I can't get iMessage to recognize an email address

I have two new iPad Minis and when I log into both iMessage and FaceTime it will not log a newly added email address. It only shows the previous email addresses and phone numbers but it keeps saying "verifying" with the status but never confirms.

1. Sign out of Facetime and sign in again.
2. Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On

I just bought an iPad and updated the operating system. Previous questions about adding email addresses from computer to iPad mentioned goin to iTunes and then the index tab. I don't have an "iTunes" icon; I have "iTunes U" but there is no index tab there. I'm confused. Sorry for my computer-illiterateness.
