Adding events in my phone gives wrong time on my computer.

when I add an event to calendar in my iphone it pushes to ical in my computer an 1hr. later and when I put an event into my ical on my computer it pushes to my iphone an 1hr earlier. any help, my computer's clock is set to my time zone and my iphone shows the correct time also.

I have the time zone set to central time zone on the computer, there is no option for DST. on the iphone it is set for Automatic date & time if I turn that off I have it set for central time zone. I did turn on the Time Zone Support in ical preferences and the events i put in the phone are now pushing over to ical on the computer correctly, but any calendar events i put into ical on the computer is pushing to the iphone 1hr behind. tried to take the set auto time off on the iphone and use central time zone setting the time manually but did not do anything.

  • Setting the time automatically, or manually yet still gives wrong time.

Ever since I've updated my 5c, the time keeps messing around. It's never the right time. I've tried manual and also set it automatically. It keeps delaying in time and gives wrong hour/minutes. I cannot set the alarm or do anything because the time is just wrong. I don't have a problem with my other apple devices regarding the new software update, it's just with this phone.

    Hello Basilsami,
It sounds like your phone is not keeping the correct time and date, either when set to automatic, or manual. I recommend these troubleshooting steps from the article named:
iOS: Troubleshooting issues with date and time
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3920
Follow these steps. Test after each step to see if the issue is resolved.
Ensure that the version of iOS on your device is up to date.
If the option to enable date and time automatically is available, turn it on. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time.
Ensure that your time zone is set up correctly. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone.
If the incorrect date, time, or time zone is being set up automatically on the device, please notify your cellular provider. In the meantime, tap General > Date & Time and turn off Set Automatically. Then set the appropriate time and time zone manually.
Note: The option to set automatically might not be available on all carriers in all countries.
    Additional Information
Note: If you find that your device's time is incorrect after you sync with your computer, your computer's time may be incorrect. Verify the computer's time in System Preferences > Date & Time (you may want to select the checkbox to set the computer's date and time automatically).
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling

  • Premiere Pro CC 2014 gives wrong time code from clip

Premiere CC 2014 is giving me inaccurate TC. When I bring in a  59.94 Non Drop frame clip the into Premiere,  the TC is wrong. The TC in QuickTime  start frame reads: 15:32:56:00. When I bring it into Premiere, the TC start reads: 15:31:04:08. I have pre set the project and sequence settings to the correct parameters. And, I have also tried bringing the clip in without setting parameters and letting the clip drive parameters once I bring it in to sequence timeline. Regardless, of how I set the parameters, the TC does not read correctly.
The TC reads correctly in FCP 7.
The TC reads incorrectly in AE and Prelude as well. However,  when I look at the metadata in Prelude, there is line for "alternate TC". This line sees the correct  TC as 15:32:56:00  However, in the prelude sequence The TC reads incorrectly.
    This is pretty time sensitive.
    Thanks,

In addition, when I interpret the footage to 30fps, the TC is correct. This is quite odd.

  • Event notifcations reply with the wrong time

I get a mime attachment for a meeting and when I reply to accept, it changes the meeting time in the copy of the e-mail reply. What's causing this glitch and how do I fix it?

Go to settings time and date and make sure you have the right timezone setting.

  • Why does ical put a random time in front of added events when I print?

How can I prevent ical from putting a random time in front of added events when I print?

In Word go to File, Options, Display and uncheck the box to print document properties.

  • Events in calendar have the wrong date and/or time

I have a 2nd generation iPod Touch and I recently synced my iCal to it using iTunes. However when I looked at the actual events listed in the calendar, after it was synced, some of them had been moved to different dates at different times. Is there a way to fix this?

Some where along the way, the settings are in the wrong time zone.  Either the iPod or the server (computer).
My Ex-husband had the same complaint with our shared, online calendar on Yahoo.  Whatever I entered on the iPod, came up on a different day and 2 hours off.  He didn't have the computer mail account set up to eastern time zone.

  • Some events appear at wrong time when publishing to web

When I publish my calendar and then view it on the web, events I have created myself in iCal are shown at the correct time, but any events I have recieved from Evolution (the email/calendar application my colleagues use) as an .ics file are shown exactly 8 hours later than they should be. Perhaps it's a coincidence that this is the exact time difference between the UK (where I live and work) and West Coast USA?
Just to make it clear: all events appear correctly in iCal and, if I send a subscribe email to myself and then subscribe to the published calendar, they also appear correctly in iCal. The only place where they appear at the wrong times is in the http://ical.mac.com/<username>/<calendarname> address, and it's only events that I have recieved via email.
Is there a workaround for this that doesn't involve asking my colleagues to change settings on their Ubuntu workstations? Perhaps it's a problem with Apple's ical website that they need to fix? Either way, it makes the business of publishing my calendars largely useless.

It's likely that the problem is due to an incompatibility between the way that the two systems define time zones.
This is what I thought, but iCal itself seems to cope with this, whereas the .Mac iCal web server doesn't, which is a shame.
I suspect that you don't have time zone support switched on in the Advanced tab of Preferences. If you don't, try switching it on and then looking at one of your events and one of the rogue ones in the edit window. You'll probably see a difference in time zones - i.e. that the rogue ones are in US Pacific zone.
I switched on time zone support, but it didn't change any of the events in iCal at all; i.e., the "rogue" events still show at the correct time (and the incorrect time on the iCal web server).
If this guess is correct, you will need to get your colleagues to change their time zone since iCal and ical.mac.com are behaving as they should.
They are all on the same timezone as me - Europe/London (which is currently on DST).
If the guess isn't correct, report back and we'll work on a solution
Then I look forward to hearing from you!

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required

I want to get a new iPhone to replace this defective phone. I am gonna be crazzzzzzzyyyyyyyy with anger,!!!,!,,,!  I takes2 hours to go to Regent street apple stores for three times!!!!!. It is a lot of transport fees !
PLz tell me why! How to deal with it !

Unless it's confirmed officially that your phone is defective, then you can ask for a replacement. Or you have to live with you. However you can trade it for a new one if you don't care the price drop.

    Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider if, it comes up. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Remove all apps from Recently Used list...
    - From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
    - Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
    - Press the red (-) to delete all apps from this list.
    - Press the home button twice when done.
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

  • Time machine gives wrong size in lion 10.7.4

The hard drive has a total size of 250 gb but time machine gives wrong size of 750 gb??

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.
Select "system.log" from the file list. Enter "backupd" (without the quotes) in the String Matching text field. Post the messages from the last backup, beginning with "Starting standard backup."
Post the log text, please, not a screenshot. If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Do not post many repetitions of the same message.
Some personal information, such as the names of your files, may be included — edit that out, too, but don’t remove the context.

Good question, Marleygirl. Insurance can be added within 30 days after a brand new phone is activated. There's more information about Asurion Insurance at http://bit.ly/07CrqPK.

I updated my iphone 5 to  ios 7 two days ago and I synced with my computer for the first time yesterday. Most of my calendar appointments and events were wiped off my phone but are still on the computer. I use outlook 2010 and a pc running windows 7. Rebooting the phone and the computer failed to remedy the calendar sync problem.

Easy solution for restoring lost calendar informaiton, thank goodness.  On your iPhone, go to settings, then to iCloud.  If your Calendar selection is turned off,  turn it on.  Your info should restore.  If your Calendar selection is turned on, then turn it off.  Choose to save calendars when asked.  After it shuts the Calendar off, turn it back on.  Your info should be restored.
Thank you to Apple support for walking me through this.  Shame on you Apple for not just telling people about this easy fix rather than making us go through all of this pain and worry.
