Adding existing apps form in ur function

hai all,
plz send any one how will add the request group in form menus ,plz send the document, as my knowldge attach the form 'run reports' in function and give the parameter as request group code and reuset group application and request group name but how this three parametrs write in parameter window i don't know plz send any information how will write this three codes in parameter window and code also .

Adding an iAd Banner above a Tab Bar in existing app

I am trying to add the iAd Banner above the Tab Bar in an existing app.
The tab bar has 4 Buttons/Views (HomeView.xib, FirstView.xib, SecondView.xib, ThirdView.xib).
In Interface Builder, I have tried to drag the iAd banner into the MainWindow.xib above the Tab Bar with no luck.
I'd appreciate an explanation on what I am missing.

I had trouble getting an iAd to work when using IB as well. I ended up adding it programmatically like this:
self.adView = [[ADBannerView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0,412,320,50)];
adView.currentContentSizeIdentifier = ADBannerContentSizeIdentifier320x50;
adView.delegate = self;
[self.view addSubview:adView];
in the - (void)viewDidLoad of my view controller.

Im new to forms and customizations in apps as im sure will be apparent with the questions i have :-)I have a requirement to add a value to an LOV on a field in an oracle apps form.
My question is
1: How do i get the lov query?
2: How do i edit an existing query.
3: How can i solve this problem.

Since you are working with the E-Business Suite, most likely the LOV is based on a Value Set. I strongly recommend you confer with a coworker for guidance on how to investigate an Oracle EBS Form. Value Sets are defined within the EBS setup screens and you have to be assigned to a responsibility that will allow you to modify and create Value Sets. I also strongly recommend you visit the Oracle Applications Documentation web site and review the Oracle Applications Developer's Guide and Oracle Applications User Interface Standards for Forms-Based Products for your particular version of the EBS.
Also, the General EBS Discussion is the more appropriate forum to post this type of question.

If you do not want to modify and existing form but want to add functionality to the existing form and can not use
descriptive flexfields to add new functionality, you could use the custom.pll to accomplish this. Depending on
how many enhancements you will be adding using this method, you could impact performance across the
board due to the fact that the all forms execute the custom.pll to look for custom code. To find more information
about the custom.pll review the developers guide.( Oracle Applications Developer's Guide A75545-02)

Are in-app forms possible?

I am creating an app that has a short form (all text fields). The form will submit via email, no database involved.
I know I can create a web form and display the page within a frame, or call up a URL with a form, but I wonder if there is a way I can create the interactive form within the app. There are no tools in the overlay panel that I can see doing this.
I tried creating a form in InDesign, exporting as an interactive PDF, and bringing it back into the document, but it lacks interactivity when imported (the PDF does function fine within Acrobat as expected, however). Also tried skipping the PDF export and adding my InDesign form pages directly to the folio as an article. No luck there, either.
Am I missing something, or can this not be done? If not, it would seem to be a really useful addition to the overlay panel's capabilities.

What would be cool is an in-app PDF reader that can handle forms. Is any interactivity possible with a PDF form accessed via an HTMLResources file?

in my smartform, if i give one set of input like, 1st qtr of 2008, vendor and compcode, its displaying the value.
but if i give the input like 1st qtr of 2007, vendor and some other compcode its giving some error like

this error coming after printpreview and not displaying.
how can i debug it.

Using a existing sting to preform a function on a list of computers

however when I have the user input the computer names (see screen shot below) it does not pull any of the info for the computers in the list. I know the variable has the correct list as it print the list to the console but it will not perform any
functions. I have tried this using several methods. I am just trying to relay I have done my best to do my homework.
The part that is not working is the last 3 lines below. By not working i meant it does nothing.

There is cr-lf for each line, problem is Get-WMIObject is expecting an array, ie, String[]
The extra cr-lf at the end needs to be stripped off if present otherwise an extra empty element is present

First thanks for this great replay. I have been trying to alter small sections of it to get a better idea of what it is doing.
I have had no luck getting it to work. It still acts like there is no list of PC's no mater how i alter it or wither i use $PCName or $PCNamelist

I have a new computer and need to sync my iPod touch. I get a message telling me that all existing apps and their data will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library. Does that mean I lose all game progress?

What you need to do is Transfer the iTunes Library from your Old computer to your New computer...
Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..
Backup iTunes to an External Drive

Insert XML Data Into An Existing PDF Form

I am working on an application, written with XHTML and JavaScript, and running on AIR, so it is a desktop application.
Users enter data into an XHTML form and upon submission I create an XML file of the data using JavaScript.
At any later time users will be able to open the XML file from the application. I will use JavaScript, again, to read the XML and fill in an XHTML form. But at this point I will provide a button for users to generate a PDF with the data. I would then like to insert the XML data into the appropriate fields of the existing PDF form. I would like to continue to do this from within the AIR application using JavaScript.
Is this possible?
What version of Acrobat would I need as the developer? Professional or Standard or Other or None?
What version of Acrobat would the end users need? Professional or Standard or Other or None?
Can this all be done using only JavaScript and the Acrobat SDK? Does using AIR offer any help (all Adobe products)?
When the end user clicks the generate PDF button would Acrobat have to open? Can this be done without the user seeing Acrobat open? Either way is ok, I would just like the user to see an alert saying that the file has be generated and point them to its location on the local machine. But again, this is not a requirement.

You have two choices
1) You can use JavaScript in your AIR application to communicate with the JavaScript in the PDF to fill in the form directly. This can all be done inside of your AIR app. This is certainly the best route to go and there is (IIRC) a sample in the AIR SDK.
2) You can create an XFDF file from your XML data and then have Acrobat/Reader open the XFDF file to fill in the data.
Both methods will work with Acrobat and Reader - HOWEVER, Reader users won't be able to save the PDF unless it has been Reader Enabled.
