Adding keyframes for exposure correction

I have a clip where the exposure varies due to changes in lighting. I'd like to use keyframes to mitigate the scope of the lighting variations. When opening video animation, Color:Color is listed as a choice (with presumably exposure included) but I can't seem to add a keyframe for it. I can for the other four options, just not Color:Color. There is no disclosure triangle beside it.
What am I missing here?

Camera exposure correction defective for manual IS...

The photo camera exposure correction is defective for manual ISO setting in the N900 after updating the OS to PR1.2.

This feature is one of the main tools to use the excelent camera of the N900 to make good pictures. It is very important that this feature is working correctly again.
The bug apprears in the following test situation:
- ISO-setting to ISO 100, 200 or 400 (not AutoISO).
- Manual exposure correction to +0,5, +1,0, +1,5, +2,0 (overexpose) and -0,5, -1,0, -1,5, -2,0 (underexpose).
In this cases the picture turns to very dark (almost black) while it should be brighter regaring to the aimed overexposure or only slightly darker regaring to the aimed underexposure.
The bug is independend from other settings (flash, recording presets (portrait, landscape, night,…) or white balance.
The bug does not appear in video mode sinde there is no possibility to change the ISO settings to another value.

The summer is nearly over now and I am quite angry that there is no solution since this bug is now known since at least more than 2 months!
We all cannot use this good camera in my N900 to shoot good photos!
Currently automatic exposure is the only way to make photos which is not working well in many exposure cases!
It seems that nothing is going on in this case - there is no feedback and no workaround!
Please at least offer a package in the repositories to set the camera back to the last firmware status where this bug didn't appear! And please respond here to tell what is planned to solve the problem!

Today this bug was closed and marked as "WONTFIX"
The users originally could buy a device which had certain important capabilities in the camera interface's usability. Then Nokia did a mayor mistake in disabling this capabilities in one of the firmware updates (PR 1.2) since they programmed this severe bug which is causing this error in the functionality available before. They missed to fix this in the firmware upgrade to PR 1.3 and now they are obvoisely trying to sweep it under the carpet!
It is definately our right as customers to demand that the camera application remains at least in the functionality it had when we bought the device!
So a bugfix of this bug is mandatory!
In my opinion someone is in charge of repairing this which he has slipped up in PR 1.2. He didn't had the heart to reply yet (neither in the maemo bug website https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10384 nor in this discussion) and he is not doing his job's duty properly and in an professional way. Instead he is leaving the derangement, isn't it?
If the N900 would get a MeeGo upgrade from Nokia side it would be acceptable to solve this bug in MeeGo but since the Meamo is the official firmware dead end from Nokia side it is a scandal leave this bug unfixed !!!
The last thing we can do is to get more
user's feedback to nokia in this case:

How to keyframe the color correction

Hi!
Is there any way to do keyframing in color correction, but use a pen tool in motion tab for each individual parameter separetly?
User manual gives an impression that it might be possible to make keyframes in color correctors visual view:

So that when there is a clip where exposure changes, it could be corrected in color corrector, and add the keyframe so that values changes gradually from previous keyframe.

In a way it does automatically add keyframes:
I have a *color corrector* tab in a separate window, and everytime I make changes in it, the new keyframe appears in filters tab graph-line-indicator of that particular parameter.

Adding Keyframe to Mask Problem- Motion 3

Hello
I've imported an interview I shot on HD. I cut the person out with my Bezier Mask Tool so I can put the person on a different background. I then have my background on a separate layer. I click on the subjects layer and then under my properties tab, position, I click add keyframe. I'll then go ahead a couple of frames and add another keyframe. After adding about 10- 15 keyframes, I play it back and there is no movement to the mask.
I've also tried adding keyframes on my Keyframe Editor.
What am I missing?

Make sure your adding keyframes to the mask points positions. As Mark said, its best to turn on Record Animation (the red button below the canvas). Then any change you make will create keyframes on the correct object.

Creation of New consistencycheck condition for Normal Correction

Hi,
We are using ChaRM normal correction to check the transport imported to production system we are using the check conditon 'PRODUCTION_IMPORT_OK' which is implemented in Class CL_SOCM_INSTANCE .
On similar base we wanted to create the condition of 'ZTEST_IMPORT_OK' for normal correction, but we are not able to find the Standard code written for condition PRODUCTION_IMPORT_OK.
If find this code we can make some adjustment in this code with BADI for consistency check to implement the new condition .
Is any one worked on this type of condition , your help will be appreciated.

Check if needed to assign any account key to this new condition type in your procedure if needed, then mantain the GL acc for the same.
If you are adding this condition type in your TAXINN procedure (assuming so) you need to create the condition type for the same by using trax FV11.
If you are adding your condition type in Pricing procedure then no ned to create the condition record.

Exposure Correction in Premiere Pro

I used a Sony camera model HDR-SR8E to record in AVCHD moonrise and gathering fog after nightfall over a river. This stresses the abilities of the camera regarding exposure with the result that it is very dark to the eye. I was hoping that Premiere Pro would have a tool that can amplify the recorded signals that comprise the video. Thanks.

I could add why I can get away with not correcting exposure after all. I filmed this same scene twice, once after full darkness while moon rose, then a second time with sun setting behind me. I also filmed moon separately on zoom with its own exposure. So while moon is in foreground I use the 1st shot, in this the moon looks like a small white moving spotlight so I put film of the moon proper over it using transparency and rotational and speed effects so the moon always covers the spotlight, then in another project I reversed the second filming so instead of progressively getting darker it gets progressively brighter to full daylight. I figure that in a third project i will just fade the first into the second once the moon has moved out of top view. So the very very dark won't last too long.

The playback in PrPro is but an emulation. For true color grading and exposure work, a calibrated CRT monitor fed through a D-A device via FW is the best you can get.
From your description, I'd definitely look at Levels, and Highlight & Shadow (be sure to turn Auto OFF). When you have improved things (go back and forth between these two Effects) to a really good point, then look at Fast Color Corrector. Be prepared to go back for tweaking.
If you do not have a calibrated monitor, you might want to Export a small segment (or use ADL to Encore), and then burn a DVD RW, or BD RE to test on your set-top player with TV attached. Using rewritables will save $, and no "coasters."

Adding listeners for instances on other frames

I'm trying to create a very standard menu, the type where there are links on each page that links to each other. So far I've put each menu page on a separate frame (total around 35 frames), and each link as its own instance/class. Originally I planned to create an array containing all the links like this:

Basically adding listener for every link, then simply telling AS what to do when I click the link regardless of what page I'm currently on.
However the problem is I realized listeners can't be added for links that exist on other frames other than frame 1, because they're null I think until AS flips to that frame.
So does anyone have an idea on how I should code this? Another challenge is some links (the ones at the bottom of the array) exist on MULTIPLE frames, but perform the exact same thing regardless of which page it was clicked on.

I arranged them on separate frames because that way I know exactly what's on each page. If I simply list out all the links on one frame, then it gets extremely messy visually.
So if I want to add listeners on other frames, how would I do that? I know the pseudo-code:

Well, I can tell you that this kind of error is not OS related, but rather a HW thing. It happens where there is a general detection of something going wrong. Sometimes it can happen randomly and might not be an indication of a problem. But sometimes it can be caused by things that are improperly functioning within the system like bad capacitors.
Unfortunately I don't really know what to do about such things except give you machine a proper inspection. But if things are working fine, and continue to do so, I wouldn't worry about it. If it becomes a regular occurance, then I'd worry.

Command plus is no longer working for me correctly in Safari 8.0.2.

Command plus is no longer working for me correctly in Safari 8.0.2. When I use it to zoom in a safari window, it makes fonts bigger instead of scaling the entire page bigger like it used to. What changed or what did I accidentally change? This is only happening in Safari. When I use Command Plus in a Chrome or firefox browser window, it works perfectly still.
To explain this a little better, I have a 27" iMac. When I open a browser widow in safari like yahoo.com, The content fits in about a 10.5" section of the screen. If i go to full screen or enlarge the window to fit the full screen the same 10.5" content is centered in my screen. Previously, I could use Command Plus to zoom and the entire page would scale increasing from 10.5" to eventually filling the screen. Now when I use command plus, the font's get bigger and bigger but the page width stays at 10.5"

Welcome to the Support Communities! If I'm understanding you correctly, it appears you have updated Safari to the latest version, but are still using Mountain Lion as your operating system, is that correct?
You may need to adjust your screen resolution, or the zoom settings in the Accessibility pane of System preferences. Usually, zooming changes the size of text or content in a window -- not the size of the window itself. So I usually go to full screen mode in Safari, and then zoom in if I need to enlarge the text.

that's the fun thing:
You add your own property (and it'll be invisible to outlook users, not to worry).
Extended Properties allow you to define custom property on Exchange Items. And it has a
method for setting those too.
Here's a short post doing a very simple intro on using Extended Properties.
Glen's Exchange Blog is a generally useful resource when working with EWS, I'm confident you'll be able to find lots of tips there as well.

Lightroom 5.2 is not identifying my sigma 35 mm 1.4 for lens correction anymore. It was working fine last week. Any ideas what's happening?

Indeed the pictures I'm looking at now are Jpeg. My other canon lenses are picked up for profile correction though but the sigma 35 isn't. Thanks a lot! I thought something was wrong somewhere but it all makes sense now.

Secondary exposure correction?

Is there any way to correct spot exposure problems [ie. clipping] like you can correct secondary color with Three-Way Color Corrector?
I have a clip where a white box that reflects too much--it moves, so I need the exposure correction to move as well--like color corrections move with the Secondary Color Correction, but with exposure instead.
I just need to tone-it done some, if possible.
I tried using the Three-Way, but there isn't enough color to grab.
Any advice? And thanks.

You can do secondary correction with the luma corrector.

Best procedure for setting iMac screen for color correction
