Adding music video to the music video playlist

This is driving me nuts.I have music video that I can't get into the playlist (music video)I tried adding but it just goes to the recent added playlist .I can drag and drop it into the movie library, but I want them in the music video playlist.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings

There is no setting in the iPhone to set another default music player. The default is Music. If you are using another application, you are at the mercy of how that application operates as far as what occurs when it stops or errors out. The car is looking for music to play.

Songs on your computer do not get replaced. You have to delete then redownload them
If the songs are not Matched, they will be uploaded from your computer in whatever format they currently are.
However, the iTunes Match license states, "If the song is not successfully matched, your copy of the song will be uploaded to Apple in the same format or a format determined by Apple" so they could get re-encoded.
If the songs do match and you downlaod them, they will be 256 kbps AAC.

For example, I have applications such as Video Hunter Pro that downloads youtube videos, but how do I put the videos or audio track into my Music app? I don't want to constantly switch apps. For iTunes on all devices.

Unable to download videos from the music store

Hi, thanks for the help. I have been using itunes with an Ipod for several years, but recently upgraded to a 60G Video Ipod. I was trying to download a couple of videos from the store last week and recieved an error message. The message was;
"There was an error downloading your purchased music. The disk could not be read from or written to.
Use the Check for Purchased Music command in the advance menu to try later."
Any advice? I have been able to download music with no issues, its just the videos. When I sent an e-mail they blamed my Firewall, but I don't have one on my PC.

I was having the same problem and got the exactly same responce from tech support, ( the tech support is a joke) Here is what I finally did to get mine to work, the probleml was with my company firewall,
These steps worked for me:
Go under EDIT
Click on Preferences
Click on Advance Tab
Under Itunes Music Location,
Hit Change and write down the locaton incase the new locaton does not work for you.
Under temp hit the New Folder button
Delete the old location ( you might not need to do this )
Type in new location
I used the following: C:\TEMP\Itunes
Hit the ok and it will take a few minutes to move all your libary to new location
Go back to Advance
Click on the Check for Purchased
This worked for me and I hope this helps you out
My personal opinion is that we pay big money for these IPODS and Apple cant even support us .....What a shame!!

Ive convertet a buch of music vidz to MPEG4 file.
But when i sync my iPod, the vidz is placed under Videos, and not Music Videos.
Ive tryed avereything. But i cant get music vidz in the right category.

Are these files marked as Music Videos from under their Options tab of the Get Info window in iTunes? You can access this information, by right->clicking on the music video, choosing Get Info, clicking on the Options tab when it comes up, and then making sure the Media Type is set to Music Video.

Surely you're gonna have to edit it on the beat so that the extended piece appears seamless. I'm not sure there's an automated way of doing that.
Use the asterisk key on the numeric pad to tap the beat and leave markers in the timeline. Cut and edit acccordingly.

When the video OPTION for MUSIC is selected - The Music Video does not move

For a Movie, when the MUSIC option is selected, it does not move into the MUSIC library. It stays in the MOVIE category. It should to become a music video. How should it be done correctly?

How do I solve this Nano 3G syncing problem? During the syncing process my music files are registering as audio, but once I eject the IPOD it does not reveal the music files in the music folder.

During the syncing process my IPOD Nano 3G shows that the music files that I'm synching are registering as audio, and that the video files are registering as video, and even upon completion they are still labeled as such. But, when I eject the device from ITUNES and turn it on, the IPOD reveals that there are no music or video files to be played. When I plug the device back into my MAC and, when ITUNES recognizes the device, uder the summary tab the summary bar reads that the files that I loaded are all classified as other files. What could be causing this? I had to re-install my Tiger Software, and since then I've been having this problem.

How do i delete multiple files of the same video in the "all videos" folder?

i am running out of space on my computer so i went to the "all movies" folder to see if there were items there i could get rid of. when i went i discovered that there were many instances of the same video being there as many as 4 or 5 times. why is that? i tried to delete them but they still remain. how can i single it down to just one file?
