Adding new Corporate Account
I am having trouble adding my corporate email account as an account. When I enter my email address and password then click next, it searches for messages then says the username and password is incorrect. It won't take me to the screen to add my username and corporate domain. Any ideas?

When setting up a corporate email, the account provisioning is often overlooked and the corporate email account cannot be properly setup. Is your account provisioned with the Enterprise Data plan ($44.99/month) needed to access corporate email accounts?

as far as I understand, document splitting clearing account is not for the purpose you mentioned (if you mean the clearing account in GSP_KD1). you don't need to analyze those accounts which are only for balancing.

Adding new gmail accounts, mac not letting me
I have an old gmail account which has been "saved" on my computer. It no longer works and I'm trying to get rid of it so my kids and I can access our new gmail accounts. When I pull up gmail, it automatically wants me to enter the password to the not valid account. I try to change accounts, add accounts, etc. Only my son's email will pop up. We click on it and then it reverts back to my non-valid account. The computer has saved this old non valid account and I cannot figure out how to get around it. I'm sure it's a saved setting somewhere but where?

My parents use an iMac w/Intel Core 2 Duo running Leopard (10.5.4). When they set up the machine initially they set up a single account (we'll call it UserA) - which is the administrator account and the account that both of them use. I know this is a bad practice but this is where I am working from. It had not been a problem for them up until now as my mother's primary use for the computer had been Safari and using RDC to connect to her Windows box at work.
However, my mother is looking to have her own account set up so that she can have her documents, mail, ect. set up separately. The problem comes in with the apps that they share (i.e. iPhoto, iTunes). I would like both user accounts to see iTunes and iPhoto the same way. The have built up their music and photo collection collectively and would both like to be able to access the same libraries. I have gone as far as creating a new user (UserB) for my mother (as a standard account). I copied her documents from the administrator account (UserA) into her documents folder. What is the best approach to sharing iTunes and iPhoto libraries across the two user accounts? Thank you.there are several ways to do that.
1. the easiest is to enable sharing in both itunes and iphoto. This will allow user A to see libraries of user B and vise versa. However, they won't be able to add stuff to each other libraries. also, this will only work when both of them are logged in at the same time. so you'll have to enable fast user switching in accounts preferences and keep both users logged in.
2. second easiest. if you have an external drive (or a partition of an internal drive) you can move itunes and iphoto libraries there and turn off ownership on that partition. select the partition, eneter command+i and in the info popup check the box "ignore ownership on this drive" at the bottom.
after you've moved itunes and iphoto libraries you need to point the apps to the new locations. hold option and start iphoto. You'll get a dialog asking you to choose the library. do the same for itunes.
3. you can use the method from [ Király 's post in this thread|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=2719139�].
Skip step 3) that he describes - it's not needed in Leopard. -
Can't create a new account nor from de preferences + tab not from the file menu. The program does anything.

Having trouble adding new email account on Iphone 4

I got my Iphone 4 on release day. The sync went ok, not completely trouble free, but was able to get this thing sync-ed.
I have four email accounts sync-ed with Itunes, however, I had created an extra email (pop) for exclusive use on my IPhone. I have been trying to add this new address on my phone, but keep getting the following error:
"Cannot Connect Using SSL
Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?"
I have checked, and the settings for the new account are correct. If I answer yes I receive the following message:
"The SMTP server "smtp-server.new.rr.com" doesn't support Password authentication. Please check your account settings and try again." and an OK button.
Settings have been checked to match the other four accounts, all are in the same server, POP and SMTP.

The problem is on the Iphone 4 (I had no problem on my 3G). Like I said, the settings I have entered are the same as the settings for the other 4 accounts. The only portion of the setup that I cannot access during the "failed" setup is the "Advanced" where I can turn SSL off and confirm password authentication. -
We have an email account/name [email protected] that is hosted by gmail.
In the past we configured Thunderbird so that mail could be received/sent on one of our volunteers laptops.
This was set-up using our email address/password. Recently however when trying to send email via Thunderbird we get the following: 'sending of message failed. because the connection to SMTP server smtp.ggoglemail.com timed out'
We re-checked setting in Gmail and all was fine. Checked that Thunderbird was allowed through firewall. Meanwhile other email accounts set up in the person's Thunderbird were working fine. Hmm so we removed our [email protected] and tried to set it up again in Thunderbird. On Mail Account Set-Up however now we get the following: 'Thunderbird failed to find settings for your email account'
At a loss how to advise our volunteer to resolve this, any help would be most appreciated. BRis the new "allow conne4ctions from less secure apps" set on Gmail. They introduced some security that they are pushing that no email client in the world supports, so the less secure apps has to be turned on.
What the setting really says is "allow a mail client to access mail." but they already had that. -
Adding new Exchange account disables camera
Is there some settings on Exchange server, that need to be configured that I will get my camera functions back. I tested to remove the account and the camera functions came back and if I add the Exchange account again, camera will be disabled? Or is this some kind of bug in Iphone IOS?

your exchange administrator can configure and enforce configuration policies such as disabling camera, disabling roaming, forcing passwords, etc. This seems to be the case here. Talk to him if he did. -
How to add new email account that's not an email account?
I have Google Apps for business account and I've created a bunch of aliases that I need to have, let's take as an example info@<mydomain.com>. When I've tried to create gmail account info@<mydomain.com> I was getting info that this email address is already in use. At the Google support they told me that's because I already created this as an alias, which I get it, that make sense. But now, how can I create this - info@<mydomain.com> in Thunderbird to be displayed as separate mail account in my mail account list in the left window? This and all the rest of aliases I'm using. There is no such thing in tools->account settings as add an alias, there is only add mail account and this is not an account but an alias. I thought I'll try to do this as a new mail account with all the settings as this already existing mail account that this is alias of and after that I just rename the account into proper one but when I try to fill all the boxes in adding new mail account I'm getting the massage that user name or password is wrong. But I've triple checked the password and it's the right one. I've even changed then and typed new settings just to make sure but the error was the same. How and what should I do then?
A mail account = an email address.
You can have more than one email address using the same server settings.
eg: ''mail at mydomain dot com'' and ''info at mydomain dot com''
can be two separate mail accounts, each receiving their own mail.
'''Other option - Set up 'identities''''
This can be used as a catch all account, so if you already had a mail account for eg: ''mail at mydomain dot com''
you could add another identity = ''info at mydomain dot com''
This would not show in the Folder Pane as a separate account, but emails from ''info at mydomain dot com'' would be received into
''mail at mydomain dot com'' mail account.

How to auto-update of script logics after adding new dimension members?

Just wanna ask if BPC has a functionality that would automatically update/validate and save my script logic whenever I add new dimension members. I've added new PL accounts but they are not automatically added to my calculated BS Net Income. I had to re-validate and save my logic for it to be included in my logic and for the amounts to be computed correctly.

There is no functionality as such. we need to configure the script as and when we make any changes in the dimension members.

We are putting new mail accounts on an existing server, some users have accounts and we are adding new mail accounts for them in addition to their old accounts in the info section of the user account tab. Other new users are getting new mail accounts.
Problem...
All new mail accounts are not setting up correctly you cannot connect and also any mail delivered to the accounts comes back as user not found.
I have checked the Admin > Server > Access > Allow all users and groups
The logs look like this...

I added a second account to my iTunes on my laptop. I wanted to give 2nd acct. its own library. I did by holding down shift key and going to start menu, choosing all programs then iTunes, then iTunes again. It asked me: choose library or create another iTunes library. I chose the later. I renamed it and saved in My Music. It automatically started up iTunes and brought me to the new library, but I cant get back to the old library with all my purchases, etc... What do I do to get the old library back? Computer illiterate, so please be kind. Thanks
You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.

Seems to be the Issue is Syncing emails, now I would recommend you to Remove and Add the Account and try and check if the emails are getting synced automatically.
Hope this is with Single User. If it is with Multiple Users then we need to check the permissions assigned.
