Adding new text in SHC HTML template with different colour

Hi Gurus,
We are using SRM5.0 Server 550 and SP14 and classic scenario.
Is it possible to change the colour of a newly added text in Shopping cart HTML template?
I mean we have a requirement to add a new text in HTML template of shopping cart and with a different colour so that it woulod be highlighted whenever users try to shop something.
Can anyone let me know the pros and cons of such a thing, if later on they upgrade to SRM7.0 and its feasibility?

Hi,
You can enhance/modify the HTML template.
SRM 7.0 does not use ITS HTML template. So SRM 5.0 is the last version using ITS HTML template and no impact for upgrading to SRM 7.0.

Need commpress-html-template with in weblogic.xml using Weblogic 10.0 MP1

Hi All,
Is there any way to use compress-html-template with weblogic.xml with in Weblogic 10.0 MP1.
I added this as current xsd reference for weblogic 10.0 MP1 but throws me error that it could unable to identify the library reference.
Here is the following XSD file /

The error appears to come from the ariba code. I suggest asking them.

Different templates with different datasource files

Hi All,
Can someone tell me how we can have two different templates with different datasource files in one BIP report.
I need PDF template based on one xml file and CSV teamplate based on another in one report.

you can have two data-set or query , and select concatenated data and have a single xml file.
But pdf template will look at those, dataset in the xml, which you want. and CSV will look only on the other dataset.
what method are you using for CSV ?

How to create a front panel display that lights up with different colours depending on its input signal?

I am doing a project where I have this array which has different voltage outputs for each grid. How do I create a front panel object that lights up with different colours depending on the voltage input or is there already such a pre-built function?
In addition, I wish to display these in an array on screen. Is there any pre-built function for this?

The simplest way would be an intensity graph. It gives you a 2D grid where each grid point is colored according to the value of a 2D array. The Z axis color ramp determines the color.
My second choice would be an array of colorboxes. (They could even be made to look like LEDs (see image, if course you can leave them square too), All you need is a scaling function thap maps voltages into a color ramp lookup table with an 8bit index)
(Using booleans and color property nodes is relatively clumsy. Booleans are meant for two states because the value is boolean. Since array elements can only differ in value, and not in properties, it will not even work. Color boxes have a color data type which is much more appropriate for this case)

The document references posted already are very good ones. However, I would say that on personal experience (on Solaris and 10gR2) that the addnode tools gave me nothing but problems. Luckily, I was able to build a parallel cluster (with three nodes) on other hardware and then move the databases across via DataGuard. It was quicker and cleaner (and easier!) that way...

Flow Logic jumping to HTML Template (with SAP dialog) & back again

Within a HTML Template that uses flow logic, can I call a HTML Template that has SAP dialog behind it. The SAP dialog is a function module that has a screen requesting user input and then follows on to display selection based on user input. The user can then select a value that I would like returned to the flow logic screens. Just like an F4 help.

Basically I want to give the user more functionality and be able to select addresses using an F4 type scenario.

This displays a screen for the user to better define search criteria and follows on to display possible selections. The user selection is returned in IT_RETVALUES.
If anyone knows of a similar SAP example where they go from flow logic to HTML templates then that would help a lot.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Nice setup BTW, especially the Dangerous 2BUS into the BC1 coming back to the Rosetta 800"s, that gonna sound sweet mate.
OK Q1: The master fader for output 1-2 is always gonna be there, I've never found a way of getting rid of it, you can fortunately set up the mixer so that it won't show though. At the top of the mix window is a heap of boxes highlighted in blue, all you need to do is deselect the master and the output as per this screen shot:
Save this in your template and you'll never have to see those pesky faders again.
Q2: Same thing really, logic will always show 1-2 output as stereo out. Which is annoying, even if you manually name them from the I/O labels window it's always stereo, everything else if fine apart from 1-2. To be honest I've just learned to live with it.
Glad you made the switch, I find DP to be bloated and a bit tired nowadays.

SAVE_TEXT problem in adding new text identifier to an existing text object

I have an existing text object "ZEANR" which stores 9 long text data with identifiers 1 to 9. I want to add a new long text to that text object with id 10. when I use SAVE_TEXT function (with same parameters as others except the ID is set to "0010"), it throws an exception saying : "0010" text identifier is not defined for Text object "ZEANR". How can we append more long texts to an existing object ? I Have tried to change the insert parameter of the SAVE_TEXT function but it didn't work with both cases. I am getting the exception at perform chech_key --> perform check_id of the SAVE_TEXT function.

The text ID specified in the parameter ID or text header (field TDID) should exist in table TTXID. It must be defined there with the text module object.
Go to transaction SE75, select "Text Objects and IDs", Change. Find your text object (ZEANR) in the list and double click. Choose create. Add a new text id (0010) and description. Save.

      append wheads.

Open web template with different language!!

Hy experts, i have this question: i have a web template and i would create a command that open the same web template with another language.
I tried to insert a hyperlink with sap-language parameter but in this way navigation properties on table and filter value's aren't maintened in the new web template .
Could you help me?

I have done this using iviews in the portal by using
ie
Language = ZH in the application parameter
will fire up the iview in chinese on a hardcoded EN BI portal
Then you can have the same iview without the language string and that fires in the portal language (if hardcoded) or the personalisation language of the user

Single Plot fill with different colours

Hi;
Any suggestions on how I could fill a single plot with 2 different colours.? Basically I have a single sine wave trace. I want to fill the plot on the positive gradient of the sine wave with red and the negative gradient with green. I need to do this with measurement studio and VB6.

There is no straightforward way to do this. You will need to use two plots. To plot these plots you will
need to use the PlotXY function instead of the PlotY function. That
will allow you to specify the X values for each plot so they show up

If message which needs to be changed is attached to AOL message then try the below
1.modify the message according to your requirement
2. clear fucntional cache to reflect the change in login page
Navigation to clear cache: Functional Administrator Responsibility -> Core Services -> Caching Framework -> Global Configuration -> Click on “Clear All Cache” button then click “Yes” button
How to find out which message is attached with that login page.Is there any way to find out that in about this page or personalization or any other method.If your login page is OAF page then you can check it using about this page. Go to 'about this page' link select "Expand All" radio button then search for your message.

0asset_afab_attr, added new fields, need them to work with delta

Good day everyone,
I have searched the sdn forum and have not found anything on this subject specifically.
I have added two new fields to this extracter and in rsa3 it is pulling what i need. i have changed the bw side, including the bex query and all seems to be in working order.
but, now that i have added these two fields, i would like for the master data on the bw side to be updated with the new data in these new fields, but nothing is being sent over thru the delta.
is there a way to turn on these two new fields as delta specific? i would hate to have to delete all the cubes/dsos and master data and restart this process over again. it takes approx 7 hours to load the data to the cubes.

Go to B2B XCM application : http://host:port/zb2b/admin/index.jsp
select "Extended Configuration Management (XCM) Administration"
then select your application configuration from the "Customer" node.
Click on the "Display" button.
then maintain "ipcdata" parameter as what you have maintained in the IPC application.

You have to import your image to new service(Zservice) like below..
Step: ZSERVICE>Topic99>Create>MIME>import from your desktop or any location, then give a path in your template source code below,
Example. < img name="phone`i`" border=0 src="`mimeURL(~language="", ~name="image/phone.gif")`" alt="`#PhoneMe`" border=0 > (Ref: PZ01 Service)
And to do the Save/Publish.
