Adding one or two images from my PC to my iPad Mini

With the help of fellow community members here and Apple Care, I've been able to copy images from my PC's hard drive, using I-Tunes, to my iPad Mini. I've copied eight collections of photos and created eight "albums", one of which is family photos, to the Mini.
I've been shown how to delete earlier copied images through I-Tunes simply by "unchecking" sundirectories on my hard drive, and, then, to copy new sets of images by creating new subdirectories and checking these new subdirectories on I-Tunes.
Now, for the "family" photos, I'd like to be able to add one or two from time to time to the family album in the Mini.
Do I:
Add the new photo(s) to the family subdirectory on the hard drive and then copy the new, enlarged collection using I-Tunes, replacing the current family collection?; or
Delete the family collection by going to I-Tunes and unchecking the box for the family subdirectory, then, in separate actions, copy the new photo(s) to the now larger family subdirectory on the PC and use I-Tunes as before to copy the enlarged family collection to the Mini?
As long as I leave the remaning seven collections--as shown on I-Tunes--still as "checked" on the PC hard drive, will those 1) safely remain on the Mini as before, 2) disappear from the Mini, or 3) be duplicated on the Mini?

It worked! A bit convoluted, since I'm not fully up to speed on iTunes, but I managed to transfer and sync as you described.

The task that you are trying to perform is not possible via Adobe Reader, You would require Adobe Acrobat to extract the pages from Multi-Page PDF and save it accordingly.

Sign into the same iCloud account on both devices in Settings>iCloud and turn on photo stream. After that new photos added to camera roll on either device will be added to photo stream when the camera app is closed, it's connected to wifi and has at least 20% battery life remaining.
If you want to stream older photos from your phone to your iPad Mini, add them to a shared stream and invite yourself as a subscriber, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99.

Other than the obvious suggestion that is posted above - and I hope that you already tried that - what happens when you try to download this app to the iPad? Is it an iPhone only app or something that wouldn't work on an iPad?
Some apps come in two versions, an iPad and an IPhone version, so if you downloaded the iPhone version on the phone an you are trying to download the iPad version on the Mini, you will be charged for it.

Just purchased an ipad mini and was wanting to transfer some pictures via bluetooth from my Imac to my Ipad mini? Is this possible?
They are paired but when it goes to transfer files, it says connection lost. Is there another way of transfering files from the computer to the ipad mini?

No, Bluetooth on the iPad is aimed at devices such as keyboards and heapphones : supported Bluetooth profiles.
You can sync photos to the iPad via your comptuer's iTunes. Connect and select your iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (with iTunes 11 you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders/albums to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
There are also third-party iPad apps such as Simple Transfer which allow you to copy photos to (and from) the iPad via your wifi network.
For documents you can use the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

Further to my last post re uTube for ipad i have just found information on Buzz Player HD as an app to play videos on my ipad. Apparently it plays all downloaded u Tube in any format?.
If you feel this is a good idea. Please explain what part vimeo u Tube app will be the scheme of things.

I was looking for some resources on syncing your Mail accounts from your computer to your iPad.
In our article named iOS: How to transfer or sync content to your computer found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1296. This section in particular will get you started:
USB syncing
Open iTunes.
Connect the iOS device (your iPad) to your computer using the included USB cable and select it in iTunes under Devices on the left-hand side. Some tabs may not appear if you do not have corresponding content in your library. For example if you do not have any podcasts in your library, the corresponding Podcast tab will not appear.
When you see that bar you want to click Info, and there will be a checkbox there to Sync Mail Contacts. Check the box, then click Apply in the lower right corner of the iTunes window.

My iPhone 5S drowned in a rainstorm. How can I retrieve contacts and text messages from iCloud backup onto my iPad mini? There are some contacts on the iPad already but nowhere near all of them. I need to re-enter the contacts manually into an iPhone 4 as it does not support iOS 8.

Let me get this straight.....You lost your phone. You never backed it up, either to your computer or to a cloud service.
How in the world would you expect to get data back?

One picture, two images with different exposures

I have a Rebel T2i EOS 550 camera.
When I take a picture and plug the memory card into the computer, two images of the picture show up. It appears they are with different exposures.
How do I stop the computer/card/camera from doing this, and only take one image?

If I had to guess, I'd say you are saving in RAW and jpg. Probably the difference in what you're seeing is that the camera is processing the JPG and the RAW file is just with the basic settings, waiting for further processing in DPP or some other software.
You can set the camera to save in just RAW or JPG.

In DPP, RAW and JPEG will both show up. The one that says CR2 at the bottom is RAW.
Like previously said, check your camera setting.

Adding a layer with image from URL

I am trying to write a script that adds a layer to a document, and loads an image from a url such as "http://fantasy411.mlblogs.com/ron-burgundy.jpg" .

You may have to check your firewall setting if you have one and it doesn't work with some servers. At least I can not get it to work with some.

How can i copy and paste an image from 1page to another on iPad

i have been trying all afternoon to get copy and past to work on images from 1 page to another, are shortly going on holiday and thought i would keep in contact with a website that i belong to, to be able to go on the forum and take part in the quiz's that i do now, but are not able to copy and paste an image from 1 page to another, i click on the pic, save image and copy comes up,i press copy, then go the the other page,click on the box, paste comes up but no image what am i doing wrong
any help would be most appreciated as i have been trying for the last 4 hours

Copy and paste? What app are you using?
When you tap on an image and select copy that usually copies the URL of the image.
Save image copies the image to your Camera Roll.
Most apps have an Insert choice that inserts an image from your Camera Roll into the document you are working on.
But if you tell us which app you are using, we should be able to provide more exact info on how to get done what you want.
