Adding photos from photo album to my computer

How do I transfer my photo (after editing) to my computer
Veena

Hey Ed,
There is this option "Send to CEIVA Digital Photo Frame..." under share but that works only for Ceiva Digital frames. Apart from this I don't think that there is any direct way to send images to a digital frame from Photoshop Album Starter Edition.
Cheers,
Chhaya

I have no clue that you mean by it only shows photos from the camera icon. It has to show the photos in the camera roll of the photos app since those are the only photos that you can import via the USB cable.
There are other ways of transferring photos to a computer, but they involve using third party apps. There are WiFi transfer apps that will do this. DropBox will also let you upload photos to a public folder and then download them to a computer.

  • Create photo album backup on computer

how to add photo album on windows computer?

Photos synced from your computer to your iphone cannot be synced back.  They should still be on your computer, as that is where they came from in the first place,  and should be included in your regular backup copy of your computer.

  • How to transfer from old computer (Photo Album) to new computer (Elements)?

For Christmas I'm getting my wife a new version of Adobe and a new computer, as well.  She has 12,000 photos with tags in Adobe Photo Album 1.0 on the old computer.  I'm installing Adobe Elements 8 on the new computer.  How do I transfer the photos with tags?  Thanks for any advice.

I recommend that you first install PSE 8 on the old computer and convert the PSA 1 catalog to PSE 8.  Then once PSE 8 is running correctly, you can use the backup/restore method to move the catalog and photos to the new computer.  Though it is sometimes possible to do it in the other order, or to do the move and conversion in one step, I strongly recommend not doing that -- it will make the troubleshooting much harder.
Though Adobe claims to support conversion of catalog from previous version to PSE 8, many people with PSA and older versions of PSE have experienced problems.  See this FAQ for details on how to deal with common issues that might arise:
    http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_Problems_converting_catalo gs
See this FAQ for how to use the backup/restore method to move your PSE 8 catalog to the new computer:

As you can probably infer by now, it's very likely you'll run into issues, so expect to spend many, many hours (unfortunately).

  • Adding photo download option to computer

I have an HP all in one with a photo memory card slot.  How do I add my Asus notebook so that the memory card will download photos to the Asus?  I can't find this anywhere.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
It is a bit confusing -- however, if I understand your question, the following might help:
Your mystery HP printer, like many consumer (home) printers, may have the ability to print your photos from a memory card that is placed directly into the printer.
This same mystery printer may NOT have the ability to download those photos into a memory on the printer.  Although HP printers are smart - for printers - they are usually not as smart as computers (yet).
    The following might work:
Leave the memory card inside the camera
and IF the camera has a mini port connector on it,
then you can connect a mini-port-to-USB cable to that
Connect the cable to the computer
    Switch on the camera
and copy the photos from the camera to the computer
Even without software, modern computer Operating Systems can capture photos from cameras.
    OR
go to your camera's Website and get some software to use -- most camera vendors provide some rudimentary software to help download the photos to the PC environment.

  • Adding photo albums to Iweb

I'm unsure of how to add a photo album to my Iweb. This is what I see. I'm on my About me page. On the right side mac already has 2 photo albums. I don't know how to add an album on there. I read some things in the other discussions about Idisk, but I see NOTHING in Idisk. Where does the photo album come from? Do I create one in Iphoto, save it to Idisk? But then after I save it how do I get it into the About me photo album?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please put step by step in SIMPLE terms! lol.
    Thanks Amanda

    Amanda:
The photo album comes from iPhoto. In iPhoto you can create a new album, name it and then add photos to it. Once that's done, go to iWeb, open the photo page layout and click on the Media button at the bottom. A new window will open with Audio, Photo and Movies sections. Click on the Photo and you'll seer the iPhoto library icon and any albums below it. Click on the album you want to add, select all the photos in it and drag them onto one of the photo place cards. That's it.

  • How do i share a photo album with another computer

I have edited a photo album that I wish to share with another computer in my network.  How do I import the album?

If you want to share them as an album the only way to do this is to use  iPhoto Library Manager
Using this will also preserve versions and all metadata
Alternatively you can simply export to a folder (File -> Export) and then import to the other Library. If you drag the folder to the Album heading it will create an Album for you. You can get almost all metadata (but not Faces) this way if you export to jpeg, but you won't get versions.

  • How to reorganize order of photos in an album on iphone 4s. ios7.1.2.  When I synced photos from an album on my computer, the order of photos on my iphone was our of order.

How can I reorganize the order of photos in an album on my iphone 4s, ios7.1.2.  When I synced an album from my computer to my iphone, the photos are not in the same order as on my computer.  I want the photos  in a particular order, not in the order I added them to my computer.

I have one album of several that are synced from my computer that I needed to have in a specific order. I finally accomplished that by naming the photos alphabetically in the order I wanted them (I didn't have many and simply placed an "a" in front of the first, "b" in the second etc). I did this on the computer and then synced them again. Note that each time you sync via iTunes, the non-Camera Roll photos on the phone will be set to match the current iTunes selection/settings so you can repeat several times if needed before you get it right.

  • Photostream shares photos from shared albums to my computer, but "My Photostream" on my computer is empty. How can I get my photos to upload to my computer?

I have an iPhone 6 now, but I had an iPhone 5s previously. My Photostream stopped uploading pictures to my computer in November, 2013. If I create a shared album on my phone, it uploads to my PC, but "My Photostream" does not update. I've reset settings on the phone, turned sharing on and off, restarted my phone, updated operating systems, paid for more storage on iCloud.

    Greetings monienon,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you have your My Photo Stream activated on your iPhone but nothing is showing in My Photo Stream in iPhoto. In this situation, I would recommend working through the suggested troubleshooting steps for this situation located in the attached article.
Get help using My Photo Stream - Apple Support
I don't see any photos in the My Photo Stream view of iPhoto or Aperture.
Make sure your Mac has an active Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. If you can't connect to the Internet, updates to My Photo Stream won't appear in iPhoto or Aperture. You can use these steps to troubleshoot your Internet connection on your Mac.
From your Mac, choose System Preferences > iCloud.
Make sure that the Photo Stream checkbox is selected and you're signed in to the same iCloud account that you're using on your other supported devices.
Open iPhoto or Aperture, then choose Preferences > iCloud (or Photo Stream).
If you're using iPhoto 9.4 or later or Aperture 3.4 or later, make sure that My Photo Stream is selected. If you want all new photos that you upload to your iPhoto or Aperture library to upload to My Photo Stream, select Automatic Upload.
If you're using iPhoto 9.2.2 through 9.3.2, or Aperture 3.2.3 through 3.3.2, select Enable Photo Stream and Automatic Import.
    Cheers,
    Joe

  • Can't see recently added photo album

i have recently created a new album in iPhotos on my Mac, have home share on in iTunes and want to select the new album to share via ATV but the latest album doesn't appear in the list of albums.

I have the same issue with photos: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2605948&tstart=15
It seems as though the Apple TV doesn't "watch" for new files added. The only way I found to make new items show up on the Apple TV is to do a hard reboot (unplug power) and plug it back in. It then picks up the new files.

  • I can't belive that I can not sync my photos from my Iphone to my computer

why does itunes not let you sync both ways from your camera roll to your computer or from your photo albums to your computer. you mean the only way to get a photo off my Iphone is to e-mail it?

I definitely agree that there should be some sort of option to synchronize your Camera Roll photos through iTunes. This, for one, would eliminate the issue of losing your photos when being forced to restore your iPhone, see my post below:

  • How do I remove individual photos from the ipad without changing the photo album in my lap top where the photo album is stored??

How do I remove individual photos from the ipad2 without affecting the photo album in my lap top where the photo album resides?

    You don't.
To remove a photo from your iPad that is located in a photo album on your computer selected to be transferred to your iPad under the Photos tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, the only way to remove the photo from your iPad is by removing if from the album on your computer followed by a sync.

  • Photo albums-how do you make more than one?

I was wondering if anybody knows how to make more than one photo albumon the iphone..like not just the photo roll thing
I looked more than once on the site but just cant figuire it out!!!
Do i like make them through itunes or something?
Also, i have not gotten the most recent update, but i have read alot of photo complications and im not sure i want to update it..I have already taken 300 pictures on my phone and i have had it sice Jan. So I need help with a lot of this photo thing
    PLEASE HELP!!!!!

It isn't possible to create albums on or with the iPhone.
You can create photo albums on your computer by creating and naming a folder, and then place the designated photos on your computer within the folder.
Create a primary/parent folder that will contain only folders than contain photos.
Select this parent folder under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences and then sync.
If you haven't already done so, you need to transfer all photos captured by your iPhone to your computer and then delete the captured photos from your iPhone after being successfully transferred to your computer. If you want any of these photos available on your iPhone for viewing, you can place the photos in a folder or folders that are transferred from your computer to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process.

  • When i try to transfer photos from mac to iPad the albums that move over do not contain the same photos as the albums on the computer. extra photos are added and some do not move over at all

when  i try to copy albums or events from my computer to ipad 2, the transferred albums or events lack some photos from the original events but also contain other photos from differennt albums or events. i have tried rebuilding the thumbnails and repairing the database but none has made any difference. further if i try to import the entire library then again only  a small subset gets over.

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for the iPod Photo Cache.
Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

I've added 2 or 3 albums a while ago to my iPhone and I want them off but I don't know how to remove them.

The exact same way you put them there.
