Adding published project to wordpress blog

Could someone help me figure out how to add a published Adobe Captivate project to a wordpress page please. I tried to insert the swf file but the videos in my project don't play. Thanks.

It looks like the problem is from how i inserted the videos into my captivate project, this is because I have tried ti add the same published project into another site under a different host but the same problem exist. On my computer the published project plays perfect with all the videos . The videos I'm talking about were youtube videos I downloaded to my computer. In inserting the videos I used Shift+Ctrl+F I then browsed to the location of the video on my computer and insert. When the video is inserted under the General in properties it will show Progressive download video. After that I publish my project. Am I doing something wrong?

Access to cPanel.
Acquire ZIP file for the “WordPress Blog Feed” extension from the OpenCart site.
Install vQmod folder because the extension we are using for the integration requires this folder to operate.
How to Install WordPress Blog?
Step 1 – First, you will need to login-in into your Cpanel (or you can even choose to use any FTP client in case you've knowledge about working with FTP).
Step 2 – In this step, you need to upload “Wordpress Blog Feeds” extension zip file into your OpenCart directory.
Step 3 – Next, from your cPanel logged-in screen you can view an option “File manager”, from there click on the zip file where your OpenCart installation is being uploaded. And then, choose EXTRACT to uncompress the extension zip file. Make sure to save your uncompressed file in the vQmod folder.
For example: When you access and open your OpenCart URL or folder location/vqmod/xml/, the file you need to extract will be named as vba-blog-feed-to-article1.xml
Now that you have extracted the file, simply navigate to the vQmod folder and click on vba-blog-feed-to-article1.xml. And then, select EDIT. This will return text that will look something like:
Once all changes to the file has been made, remember to click on the “Save” button in order to save the file entries.

Irrespective of whether you’re running a small business or a medium-size e-commerce business, blogging frequently will help you build trust and enable you to connect with your customers. Put it simply, an online store selling products can take advantage of blog to drive more traffic to it. You can try adding a wordpress blog to your Muse site. You should be able to do this. There shouldn't be any issue with it's functionality (You may need to work some more on the design part - This is just in case there is some issue with the wordpress code and the code generated by Muse in the backend). Published project details

I am new to Oracle BPM/Aqualogic BPM application. This may be a very basic question.
Where does the published project details stored when we publish the project in ALBPM Studio 5.7
I assume, these data are stored in engine database. if my assumption is right, where or how this engine database details are configured?

The issue you are facing is because of the conflict of permissions, event handlers always works through administrative user credentials whereas the project is open in edit mode by the logged-in user. And you are tyring to update custom field at the back
end with Administrative credentials, while project queue is in process by logged-in users credentials. Its not gonna work this way :)
The best option is to use Javascript on your PDP using CEWP, you can either build your complete logic in JavaScript and place that code on your PDP. OR you can use the combination of JavaScript and PSI and create a webpart to be placed on PDP.

Issue with Webparts while adding in Project Site

I am getting an error while adding web parts in project site page 2010. Below the steps
Open project site --> site actions --> edit page --> click on Add webpart --> ProjectWebApp --> Project fields --> Add
Please try and let me know is this possible or not

The Project Fields webpart is ties to the PWA context, and cannot be added to Project Site.
There used to be a solution starter called Project Workspace Custom Fields webpart. You might want find and use that
An alternative is to develop your own SSRS report and display it in webpart..

How to remove the timeline recording status from published projects?

I am using Captivate 5 and would like to know what/where to find the settings to take the status recording bar off for my published projects.
Sorry I'm not sure what to call this but It's the timeline that lets' you pause, play, fastforward, rewind, etc.

Hi there
This is known as the "Playback Controls" or "Playbar".
To remove it, click Project > Skin Editor and clear the option labeled "Show Playback Control".

Audio missing in published projects

I am using Captivate 4 on a Windows XP machine. Audio was working fine in Captivate and in all published projects until several days ago. Now it has quit working in published projects (preview in browser and published projects) although it still works to preview slides within Captivate. I have read everything I can find on the forums on these issues and have tried the following suggestions:
1. Removing the Captivate folder from my Documents and Settings directory so that the default audio settings were restored.
2. Downloading the audio patch update through Help>updates
3. Installing the NSAudio.dll patch file
None of these things has made any difference. Desperately looking for a solution now... Anyone have any ideas what else I should try?

LOL, glad you got it sorted!
I suppose it could have really been anything. Perhaps you just needed to reboot. Perhaps it was related to critters. I'd personally be surprised if that were it.
My personal vote goes for either phase of the moon or sunspots...

Directory Services is controlled through a service that runs a process called slapd.exe which builds an LDAP style database. The replication between LDAPs is controlled by slurpd.exe. Look in the logs and see if you can find the reason replication is failing. Maybe edit the INI files and set the log level to DEBUG and try stopping it with PostInstall.exe, which removes it, and adding it again. Look at the debugs.

TOC in Published Project is Blurry

When I view my published project, the TOC is blurry (I cannot ready teh links). Any ideas on how to fix this?

Crawling Wordpress Blog

Does anyone have any advice on crawling a Wordpress blog using SharePoint 2013? We can crawl the blog by just using the Blog URL, but that returns a ton of junk including all the categories and all kinds of strange URL's.
Wordpress blogs have a XML sitemap that can be accessed by just appending /sitemap.xml to your blog name:
yourblogname.wordpress.com/sitemap.xml
The sitemap only returns the published blog articles which is exactly what we are looking for. Unfortunately SharePoint doesn't seem to be able to understand the format of the XML file or something as it only returns one result which is the xml file
itself.
For clarification, what we are doing is creating a new Content Source, putting in:
yourblogname.wordpress.com/sitemap.xml
As the start address, and then we've tried all 3 of the different Crawl settings and none of them have returned any results except for the sitemap.xml file.

The Fast Search Web crawler mentioned in the follwoing articles should be able to crawl the sitemap(use_sitemaps) of a web site, but it is
deprecated in SharePoint 2013 search.
So you may try
federated search as Steven suggested, or you can try crawling your wordpress blog web site with proper page depth.

My wordpress blog using the Ahimsa theme isn't rendered correctly

My wordpress blog located at http://www.dholm.com/ seems to be rendered incorrectly using Firefox 4b10. Please compare with rendering in Firefox 3 or major competing browsers.
The errors should be pretty obvious in the sidebar where the headers, such as "§ Pages" is rendered too far down.

I had similar problems and James Tseng suggested that when this kind of irregularity or glitch happens, to Publish all to .Mac. Every time that I have done that, the glitch has disappeared.
Remember to Clear the Cache, Clear the History, and hop to another site outside your site, and then return to your site. That has always worked for me.

Wordpress blog in iframe / BC

I have made a Muse-site for a client with an integrated wordpress blog (iframe). The blog is also hosted on their webspace.
So far so good - But now they want in-browser editing for the whole site, and I was about to upload to Business Catalyst. But I don't quite know.. What is going to happen with the blog when I redirect the domain name to Business Catalyst?
And how is this setup affecting SEO?

If you are embedding the wordpress blog in an iFrame then publishing to BC shall not have any effect on the iFrames, however, the domain when pointed to BC will no longer serve the blog hosted on their webspace, which will break the iFrames.
I will recommend that you import the wordpress blogs to BC and get rid of the iFrames and use BC modules instead to manage the blogs and for the SEO you will have to create the URL re-directs. I am including the help documents for these topics below.

Is there a way to play an mp4 file at the beginning of a published project only when the project is accessed from a specific site?
A little background info. I use Captivate 7 and currently have over 100 projects that I maintain on a quarterly basis. I publish using the SWF format and upload the swf/htm files to a server where they are then accessed from a few locations (within our online documentation, in our software product, on two different websites). Many of the projects are linked so some will be viewed as a series and others viewed as a standalone video. Each video uses the same template and includes an intro and end slide. Now my organization wants to implement a new intro to all videos (those I publish and those from several groups across the organization). My current intros provide overview material for the specific video so the new intro, which is an animation with audio in mp4 format, would need to be placed at the start of each project. The issue is, the intro adds 9 seconds to every video and in many cases doesn’t add any value (say, if a user accesses the video from within our product or views the videos as a series). I’ve talked it over with my boss and we want to try to add the intro only to videos accessed from site X, not any other location. So now to my question. Is there a way to play an external mp4 file (intro) only when the published project is accessed from a specific site, therefore eliminating the need to update each project? Maybe there's a way to add a parameter or variable to the URL or the html code?

I have a solution for you. You may have to modify the code a little bit based on how long the timeline animation is for your clock. I based mine on 3 seconds to complete a minute hand sweep around the clock.
Milliseconds for each point on the clock:
12 = 0
1 = 250
2 = 500
3 = 750
4 = 1000
5 = 1250
6 = 1500
7 = 1750
8 = 2000
9 = 2250
10 = 2500
11 = 2750
In the mouseover section for 12 o' clock, put this code...
myVar = setInterval(function(){
     var pos = sym.getPosition();
     if (pos > 0 && pos < 50){
          sym.stop(0);
          clearInterval(myVar);
},10);
When you point to the time, the setInterval method loops every 100th of a second and checks the current position of the timeline. When the timeline reaches the range between 0 and 50 milliseconds (almost impossible to hit 1 specific point), the timeline will stop at 0. Also, the clearInterval will be fired to stop the loop.
In the mouseout section, put this...
sym.play();
clearInterval(myVar);
It start the clock again, and it also clears the loop in case you mouseout before you reach the range.
Make sure that myVar is a global variable so you can clear it from the mouseout section.
Repeat this for each point on the clock. To avoid potential conflicts, you may want to use my12, my1, my2, etc. instead of myVar. I put the milliseconds at the top that you would use as the beginning of the range. 50 milliseconds should be enough to catch it. So, for 5 o' clock, you would make your range between 1250 and 1300.

Is there a way to create a site map of all RoboHelp topics in a published project?

My company uses an external search of our published RoboHelp options (as well as the internal; the external search covers all projects instead of a single one). We're looking to change search programs, but according to our web developer a lot of searches have issues finding the topics inside the published projects because of the way it links to topics using Javascript.
I think I know the answer to this question, considering it hasn't come up in any of my searches, but in case I need a second cup of coffee -- is there a site map or listing of links within a RoboHelp project that includes all the topics? Alternately, does anyone know of a service or program that can easily create a site map from a RH project? For reference, we're using RoboHelp 9.
