Adding remarks in comments

Is there a way to add the same remarks in the "comment" field to more than one song at a time without doing each one seperately?

If you are going to add something to the comments so you can delete the songs with comments, just select them and delete them. No need to add comments.

In adobe reader app on iPad, I have a PDF document that added notes and comments to.  Once I left the document and returned to it, the notes and comments were gone.  Where are they?  I clicked "save" and "done" buttons after I entered text.

The application auto-saves your input when you close the document.  If you left the document, as you state, the notes/comments should have been saved and should have been visible the next time you opened the document with the Mobile Reader (note that if you are opening the document with another app such as Apple's built in PDF Viewer, things like notes/comments may not be visible).  Also note that if you are doing an Open In... from another app (like Dropbox), the version of the document in Dropbox does not update; only the version of the document in the Mobile Reader is updated.

  • Adding an html comment causes entire table to disappear in CC Design view

Doing some tweaks to a page in the html editor in DW CC and adding a simple comment <!--BEGIN MAIN TABLE-->  causes the extensive table beneath it to disappear from the design view pane.  But the html is still there in the html editor and the page still appears correctly in a browser. Refresh Design View does nothing. At first I kept Undo'ing it to get back to where I was before adding the comment. Then I thought maybe if I saved the doc after adding the comment it would refresh correctly, but it didn't. Quitting and rebooting DW doesnt help.
What gives? Now the Design view table is gone.  I can't work like this, without seeing the page I'm working on...
I can make this same thing happen over and over - which seems to indicate a bug in DW CC...
I know you pro's are anti-tables but I'm stuck with tables right now...

Ok I understand about dl'ing files, np.  Heres the page in progress:   {link temporarily removed}  with 2 duplicate table elements below the first, one in the center I was adjusting/adding comment DW has disappeared, the other at bottom intact for backup. Here's what the disappeared version  looks like in DW:
    CC:
The layout is simple and DW shouldn't prevent me from doing this: I know it could be done with div's and CSS but I'm not going to practice and perfect that for this right now, its already torture enough using DW for this simple thing. It needs to stay as nested tables.
Despite any method of working - adding a comment should not create this hassle.
    Thanks for trying to help!

  • What is "Mapping Field" / Field for Remarks or Comments in ELM

    Hi Experts,
I have a Remarks/Comments Field in my flat file but i didn't find any relevant MAPPING FIELD / FIELD to map in External List Management.
    Example:
In flat file i have the following fields
    -Organization-CityPhone No.----Comments
    -AngelbrosLA-545-849-7857--Excellent customer
I can map Organization to ORG_NAME1 ( MAPPING FIELD),
    City to ORG_CITY
    Phone No. to ORG_TELEPHONE
    Comments to ?????
Do you have any idea to which Mapping Field can be mapped Remarks/Comments.
Can we create our own Mapping Field?
I found the the following link for Mapping Fields.

    Hi Dipesh,
I am very glad the way you explained, your solution perfectly suits if the Attribute values are Like "Eaaaaaaaa", "Gbbbbb" & "Fddddddddddddd".
I should have been more clear in my question.
But the Remarks Value in Flat File is more than a word and not same anywhere. Say.....
    Remarks
    BP1)----
This customer need some samples before he can discuss something.
    BP2)----
Would like to meet in the next quarter.
    BP3)----
Because of festival they may release order early.
LIke this there are around 500 Remarks differently. Its like a Notes kind of thing.
Dipesh, How can we create for these types of Attribute Values ?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Best Regards
    Shiven

  • Adding user review comments to each item

I am creating my site in Muse and then will be publishing to BC. My website will be have a least 7,000 items on it. I want to be able to have user review comments for EACH item. will I be able to do this using BC? I am guessing every item would have to have it's own page and then a module added to it. I am looking at adding 7,000 modules unless there is a faster way. Thank's in advance all

Yes. Please have a look at the following article about the comments module http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/758/bc_758.html
Also, you can integrate Facebook comments as per http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/851/cpsid_85118.html

  • SQL Developer - Adding a column comment via SQL

When I add a comment in SQL*Plus via SQL, such as COMMENT ON COLUMN "MY_OWNER"."MY_TABLE"."MY_COLUMN" IS 'column comment' it works fine. When I try the same thing in SQL Developer I receive a message "No SQL statement entered".
I realize this can be done in SQL Developer via action buttons in the user interface; but I need to be able to do it via SQL since my procedure generates this code for hundreds of columns at one time.
Is there a SQL way to do this in SQL Developer? Alternatively, can SQL Developer call SQL*Plus to run commands?

This is a current bug when executing as statement (F9).
Good news is it does work when running as script (F5).
    Have fun,
    K.

  • Adding/DELETING Titles & Comments to Individual Photos In An iDVD Slideshow

I am running iDVD 6.0.3 where I have 85 titled photos [selected, not imported, from Media/Photos into iDVD] already entered into an iDVD slideshow. I would like to have a title on ONLY the FIRST photo. The iDVD "Help Menu" makes it sound like this wish of mine would be possible as it states: "You don't have to include text for all the images. Only text you add will appear in your slideshow; the placeholder text will not appear."
I do know HOW to add a title and/or comment to the FIRST photo, but how do I DELETE the title and or comment from the other 84 photos? Do I have to go through each one and MANUALLY delete each title? That seems like a LOT of trouble, and perhaps I am just missing a way to do this more easily???
I know about using the gear shaped Settings feature to check "Show titles and comments", but that is where it includes the titles that are already on all of the 85 photo from when I chose them from the Media/Photos pane; unless, it seems, that I were to delete the other 84 titles and/or comments INDIVIDUALLY.

Yes, you are right, I could make a "title photo" in iPhoto from a card I could design [I do not have Photoshop Elements] and use that for the title. Thank you. It just seems like this same thing should be able to be done within iDVD itself with the way they have the directions written in the iDVD "Help Menu".
After I made my original post on this topic, I think I solved my own question using a round-about method. I had to use the "batch change" to "no title" in iPhoto BEFORE selecting my 85 photos in iDVD slideshow. That way all of the title/comment areas were blank when I brought them into iDVD, and then I could just add titles or comments to the exact individual photo of the 85 that I wanted to label. So I was able to accomplish what I wanted it to do. It just seems, however, that iDVD should have an option in iDVD to add title/comments to individual photos without having to take the titles off all of the labels ahead of time in iPhoto. If the iPhoto program can allow the titles of photos to be removed as a "batch change", it seems that iDVD should have been designed with that same feature! Or maybe I am missing something here?

  • Adding spotlight searchable comments to photos?

I'm archiving a lot of material with a Canon digital camera. The Canon software allows me to add comments to the JPEGs that show up in the Canon ImageBroswer app -- but when I open these files in GraphicConverter, I don't see the comments, even though GC also has a place to add comments to JPEG images. Spotlight doesn't seem to pick up the comments either.
Is there a method to add comments to JPEGs that would be recognized by Splotlight, and perhaps GraphicConverter? I'd like to be able to find photos by whatever strings are in the comment field. Thanks!

I'm wondering if I'll need to wrap my pix up in a PDF skin in order to guarantee that the comments stay with them and are universally accessible.
"I don't see how that would achieve anything, to be honest."
It keeps the comments with the picture, and makes it findable via spotlight. And the comments remain readable when moved to any platform that can handle PDFs.
The problem is that most normal ways of doing this increase file size drastically.

  • Adding hyperlinks to comments

When making a comment to a blog page, how does one create a hyperlink in the comment field. As in: Loved your post, click here: hyperlink to visit me.

I've not tried it but to add a text hyperlink to this forum you would use:
    <a href="URL" target="_blank">TEXT</a>
In this forum it would look like this: TEXT
Put in the URL of the site you want send them to and the text you want to do. I don't know if it will work on a blog entry or not, however. You'd have to test it.
    If you copy the code above you will find that the < characters have been replaced with the following characters so that the code will display as code and not the link: &lt;
    <br>

  • Adding Notes or Comments in Logic 8

can someone tell me how to add notes to my project? it would help so much and i can't wait to learn how, just for fun. i know there's a way but i couldn't find it on the forum... probably because i'm not using the right keywords. anybody know this one?

You can add text to the score also. However you could just fold the markers down so you don't see them, if before you do that you alt + double click on the marker it will come up in it's own floating window.

  • New timestamps added to comments when opening document

    Pages '09 Version 4.1 Build 923
    on a Mac OS X 10.6.8
    Hi,
I have a document which I am working on in Pages.
When I insert a comment to it (i.e. the yellow boxes on the left-hand side), a timestamp is added to the comment automatically.  Although I don't really need that, this is fine and I can always delete it while writing my own text.
However, what really annoys me is the following:
Whenever I open the document again (after having saved and closed it earlier), the current timestamp is added to all comments in the document.
If I then save, close and re-open it again, a further timestamp is added to the document and the first timestamp is also reset to the current time.
Thus, at the moment, in *every* comment box of the rather large file I'm reviewing, I have four separate lines reading "March 9, 2012 12:31 AM". If I close and re-open the document again, there will be five lines reading "March 9, 2012 12:35 AM" (or whatever the current time will be then) in every single comment of the file.
If I delete the three or four timestamps-per-comment, the "game" will start again the next time I open the document.
    Amy ideas at all?
I should perhaps add that I'm working here with .doc files (not .pages files) and that I edited the info.plist of Pages to give it the role of 'editor' instead of 'viewer' for all ".doc" files. Mainly to ensure that if I work on a .doc file which I want to remain a .doc file, I don't have to Save As (.doc copy) all the time but can just save in the normal way. Could this interfere with the above problem?
    Thanks!

Here is your problem. Every time you open a .doc to Pages it is a new document. When you work on in Pages it is a Pages file and not a .doc file. If you want to work in PAges save the file as the generic .pages and do the export for .doc. Keep that name and next time you Save as Word or export as word in the same location the .doc file will be overwritten with the new one. and you'll only have on .doc file and one .pages file.
If you want only have .doc files don't use Pages.

  • Acrobat XI, comment keyboard shortcuts gone missing, osx mountain lion

It used to be the case, with Acrobat X, that when you are making a comment on a PDF file, one would be able to use keyboard shortcuts to speed things up.
For example, one could select a point, and hit the '~' key to 'insert text at cursor', or the 'delete' key to do a 'strikethrough', and so on. It seems that
with Acrobaat XI many of these keyboard shortcuts (but not all, 's' still seems to work) are gone.
    Is this intentional?
Also, to be honest, I was really looking forward to the Acrobat XI update for improved abilities to markup a PDF. It seems all of the effort went into
things like changing a PDF, but that is not at all how I use PDF. I almost always have the original source of a PDF, or if I don't, what I want
to do is markup a PDF (either with comments, or with ink using a wacom), and if anything the features for doing this have (as mentioned in the first paragraph
    above) gone into reverse.
Lastly, I do all of this under osx mountain lion, I should say.
    thanks.

We received a lot of issues from customers regarding the behavior in A X. Hence in A XI, we have done the changes that keyboard shortcuts for adding text correction comments will only work if "Text Correction Markup" (rightmost icon in the second row of Annotations panel) is selected or active.
Ok, I have been trying to use this for a few days, but I need to go back to acrobat X since for some reason the "text correction markup" option gets unselected about once avery 3 text corrections I make. I have been unable to figure out why it keeps getting unselected, and it is tiring to have to keep reselecting it so often. And why would you use '~' which normally does a text correction to pull up the "output preview" window???? This really makes no sense at all.
I'm also quite dissapointed that there is still no keyboard shortcut for "add note to text".
Is it really the case that so few people want to do text corrections/annotations to pdf documents that there has been no improvement to these features over the past few years? You'd think that with devices like the ipad and with remarkably good pdf readers on the ipad like goodreader (and that have a wealth of markup options, and where the authors really seem to have thought about how to make marking up pdfs quick and efficient), that acrobat would have done at least something to improve in this regard.
Oh, I figured out why "text correction markup" keeps getting unselected. I usually use esc to escable the bubble that pops up for notes/annotations to text. If you type escape again, it leaves text correction markup mode. Why would you do that?
I want to stay in text correction mode (in fact I would like it to be *always* on,like acrobat X was.
Other bugs i've found. Sometimes the bubble pops up but there is no text field. I.e., there is the highlighted callout going from the text to the bubble to the actual text, but then the text field is not shown. This is clearly a bug.
Again, this is all osx mountain lion. Maybe Adobe is still mad at apple due to flash? I don't know, but it really seems like you did not test this version very thoroughly.

  • User Comment field available for reporting?

User Comment field available for reporting?
When doing custom reporting against requests with reportable dictionaries we have a user request to also include the user comments.  How do I reference / point to the comments field for a request?

If you are referring to the comments which are added in the Comments and History section of a requisition, this information is not migrated to the datamart and is not reportable.
If, on the other hand, you are referring to a comments field that you have included in a dictionary on the service form, that information will be available in the datamart so long as that dictionary has been made reportable.
