Adding RSS feed to MUSE homepage

I would like to add an RSS feed for my blog to the homepage of my website.  I would like my latest blog posts to display in a box.  Is this possible to do in MUSE?

Hi there,
Check https://forums.adobe.com/message/4866796 which discusses the same query.

  • Adding the nytimes RSS feed to MUSE

    Hi Fellow Muse Users,
I'm trying - I should rather say hoping - to add an RSS feed from the nytimes to my homepage. I've read many fourms (both here and elsewhere) addressing this issue. It seems the common response is the "Insert HTML" function. I however am having a hard time accomplishing this. No problem with the insert function. I've done that with google maps and facebook. But the RSS feed seems like a different beast. Perhaps I'm not familiar with what components of the RSS feed I need to place in the muse insert "box"?
Anywords of wisdom would be helpful. I also think Adobe should develop an easy way to add a personal blog RSS feed or a secondary party RSS feed. This seems to be an oversight.
    Cheers,
    Tim

    Try rssinclude.com
It's the best WISIWIG tool I've found for creating unlimited RSS widgets that can handle multiple feeds, with a variety of formats, customizable colours, transitions, size ect. that outputs to Java, PHP, Iframe (perfect for the copy paste html function in muse) it's free to try and $50 for 12 months, when I compared this to the cost and time of a developer to code something like this for me it was a no brainer!

  • Problem adding RSS feeds in Mail

After upgrading to SL, I'm having some issues with adding new RSS feeds in Mail.app. Some of the feeds are being added without any problem (e.g. http://rss.support.apple.com/macos) while others can't be added (e.g. http://images.apple.com/main/rss/hotnews/hotnews.rss): when I click "Subscribe in Mail" in Safari, the Mail.app window gains focus but no other (visible) action is performed; when I try to add this new feed directly in Mail.app, there's no reaction after the "Add RSS Feed" popup window is dismissed.
I've seen a lot of issues related to Mail.app in SL in this forum but I haven't found anything similar to this problem. Any hints on debugging/solving this issue?
    TIA for any answers.

OK, I now resolved this issue. I removed the ~/Library/Mail/Envelope Index file, re-run Mail.app and after that I'm able to add all my feeds back to mail. I haven't tried that before so I'm not sure if it's a matter of the 10.6.1 update or just a solution to this issue.

  • Viewing and adding rss feeds on iPad

How can I see if a site I'm on has an RSS feed and how would I subscribe?
On my Mac there's usually an icon in the address bar of whatever browser I'm using and clicking on it will add the feed to Google Reader. Can I do this on the iPad?

  • Adding RSS feeds in Wiki's web snippet

My specific goal is to add a Google News feed onto a Wiki page.
More generally I think it would be great to have other RSS feeds as pages within my company's wiki to educate and track industry trends. I would think this is done through a web snippet. I have done some searching online, but haven't found anything that clearly lays out how to do this.
    Thanks,
    Allen

    1. You want to publish a feed on your site that someone else
    is providing?
    or
    2. You want to offer your content as a source for others to
    publish on their
    sites?
As I see it, the extension does number 2. It looks like it is
    free for
single use, so you could give it a go.

  • Adding RSS feed to site

    Hi all,
I'm looking to add an RSS Feed (I think that's what it's
called) to a website and am wondering the best method/software/etc.
to use? I'm looking add a widget/app/program that will
automatically list the titles and date of the last four post on a
    blog.
I'm an illustrator/print designer by trade so I'm relatively
new to the web design. I'll be using Dreamweaver CS3 if that makes
a difference. Thanks in advance for the help!

  • Adding RSS feeds to pages other than blogs or podcasts

Has anyone worked out how to do it? I finally worked out what RSS actually is but then found iWeb itself only lets you add RSS buttons to blogs and podcasts. Has anyone discovered a work-around?
    Thanks,
    Simon
    MacBook   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Simon - pages that iWeb defaults to (blogs and podcasts) are the pages that have "update-able" content. iWeb currently wont allow you to put it on a page that isn't set up that way.
I've tried to get it done on my pages, but to know avail yet. the best I've been able to come up with is that the program will give you the opportunity to "announce" your site when you publish a new page. If you create a group in mac mail, you can quickly announce an update that way.
not as sexy I know, but it gets the job done...

  • RSS feed or Newsfeed on Adobe Muse

    Hello
can i add a rss feed to my homepage i made with adobe muse ? or something like a newsfeed ?
When i make a rss feed code from the internet i get one rss feed but that looks so ugly xD

    Hello,
Currently it's only possible to embed an RSS feed in a Muse site (by inserting the HTML code for a feed into Muse using Object -> Insert HTML). There's no native RSS feed widget in Muse at this time. You may want to check this related video: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/muse-feature-tour/muse-advanced-cms-integration
    Hope this helps.

  • GW 2012 - RSS-Feeds don't refresh automatically

    Hello everybody!
Our Novell GroupWise 2012 runs on terminal server. There is no problem in adding RSS-Feeds to your GroupWise system. But if you want to configure a refreshing interval, no refreshing will happen. You must refresh the Feeds manually.
Installing GroupWise 2012 local on a pc, everthing ist fine even the refreshing interval works.
I have no idea how to solve this problem and I hope anybody can help me.
    Thanking you in anticipation!

I don't know of any setting that you could specifically set for this to work... possibly terminal services disables something that is used by the update mechanism.,
In any case & good to know, which client version (build number/sp level) are you using on the terminal server?

    Hi InvinsibleSach,
    Try this.
On this message thread first do the following:
Topic Options (just above your first post)
Subscribe to This Topic's RSS Feed
That will open a new window.
Take note of the URL in that new address bar.
    (/discussions/rss/message?board.id=maemo&message.id=14252)
    Now on your N900:
    Menu
    RSS
+ symbol at bottom left of screen
Type the address you noted before into the text field.
    (/discussions/rss/message?board.id=maemo&message.id=14252)
    Done
    I hope this helps.

  • Add rss feeds

    Hi all
Just a quick question regarding adding rss feeds on to the iPhone, this is new to me and I wondered if it is possible to add them in the same way as on the mac ie into apple mail. Is this possible or is a third party app required?

Look for an app in the app store, there are many.

  • RSS Feeds - View/Edit Content Source?

After adding RSS feeds to Mail, I am able to "Rename" or "Delete" an existing feed, but I don't see a way to be able to view the source for an existing feed. If I have an older feed and want to view the source address I originally used to establish that, is there a way to do this?

Anyone have any words of wisdom on this??

  • RSS Feeds do not work correctly in Mail.app

I have already filed a bug report about this problem. I have added RSS Feeds in Mail.app by importing them from Safari. The feeds were added to Mail. There are two problems though:
    * The Feeds do not get updated every 30 minutes, as configured
    * The RSS Folder in Mail disappears after a while! Only restaring Mail solves the issue (temporarily)

Same here, tried selecting all feeds and ctrl+clicking to "Update All RSS Feeds" as well as "Get New Mail > RSS", neither works.
