Adding Vista Ultimate Computer to BEFW11S4 network with Windows ME and XP??
Is it possible to add a Vista Ultimate computer to a wireless network using a BEFW11S4 Version 4 running firmware version 1.50.14?
My existing network consists of a Dell desktop on Win/ME which connects wired to the router and 2 laptops on Windows XP. I previously had problems with the newer firmware version, so I downgraded. Otherwise, everything works fine.
I just got a new HP computer with Vista Ultimate. The BEFW11S4 does not show as being supported for Vista. I am confused reading other posts, will I be able to connect the new computer or not?
If not, what Router can I get that will work with all 3 operating systems?
Also, what do I need to add a wireless connection to the Dell (on Win/ME) that will work with the old (or new) router?
any of the wireless- g routers would work with the OS you have ..

Just bought a new ipod touch for my daughter. It won't sync without itunes 10.5.2 loaded on our computer (a 2005 HP with Windows XP and service pack 2.) thanks for the quick reply. I had the same idea already yesterday. I use Norton Internet Security for a long time now without any problems. I think this a Apple or Microsoft problem, because the popup window which appear come from Windows DEP. I got no message from the firewall with any problem. I check the log files from Norton and Windows already but find nothing. This is a very strange problem. In the past I have had a lot of other problems with iTunes upgrades. Everytime I accept the installation of the newest version I got errors regarding missing "msi" files.

I've got a wireless network with one iMac and a Vista PC, on the Vista PC is through USB a printer connected. How can i print from my iMac to that particular printer ?
You need to turn on Printer Sharing on both the PC and OS X. I can't help you on Vista but in OS X it's System Preferences - Sharing - check the Printer Sharing box.

Same computer 2 heard drives with windows 8.1 on both heard drives.
When I boot into one of them everything works great, but when I boot into the other heard drive it say's at boot up,
(the number of connections to this computer is limited and all
connections are in use right now. try connecting later or
contact system administrator.)
And I cant get into my other heard drive with windows 8.1 on it. Because the computer will not even boot into windows.

P.S. it did work at one time never head that happen to me be for. I mean I would plug in ether drives and it would work fine same computer same hardware. Just would unplug one heard drive and plug in other.I hear ya, never heard of that before.
I'm still trying to puzzle that one. ZZ would have added "clarity" if we had a guess at least for it. Virtual perhaps? <eg>

I need to use it over my university's wifi. theres no option to enter username and password. how to connect the apple tv to such enterprise network?Contact the University's IT dept, they may be able to set something up on the network to allow the ATV to connect without the need for a user name/password.

Okay so first things first this isn't the newest macbook pro. When I open about my mac and go to system report it says it is a Macbook Pro 3,1 and the Boot Rom Version say MBP31.0070.B07. Originally when starting up Boot Camp Assistant there where only two options, the "create windows 7 bootable usb" was not there at all. So after some editing and helpful tutorials I was able to get the option show up and created a bootable usb with windows 7 and downloaded the support software onto a separate flash drive. Finally I did the last step and created a second partition for windows. Once the process is complete my computer automatically restarts.
This is where the problem is. Once my computer makes the booting up sound it doesn't load up windows it gets stuck on a apple logo as if it's trying to reastart normally and can't. So I shut down and this time I hold down the option key during start up. It brings up the main partition and some recovery thing but no windows partiton and no bootable usb.
I forgot to mention that I am running OS X 10.9.3. Okay any body want to help me out? Iv'e been at this for hours and can't get an inch closer to having windows. Please and thank you!
P.S. If I missed a discussion that answer my question just point me to it. Iv'e been looking for a while, but who knows i might have missed one.The only known way to make it work on an external drive is by first installing Windows onto an internal drive, then cloning the install to an external Thunderbolt drive. Thunderbolt is seen as an extension of the internal bus, so Windows doesn't see it as an external device.

When I tried to sync my iPod Touch with my new computer none of the photographs were synced. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. When I did it the first time the photographs were all muddled up in their albums. When I tried to sync again the photographs were all removed. On the third try I received an error message something like 'Unable to sync photographs program cannot be found.' Can anyone help. (It may be to do with Windows 7 and Libraries??)

The printer worked on the wireless network with Windows 8.
I have been advised that it does not work with windows 8.1 because a driver is required. However this is not available to download.
It is ridiculous that by having the latest operating system I am unable to use the HP printer on the wireless network

To connect to a wireless network in Windows 10, follow these simple steps:
Select the wireless icon in the bottom-right near the clock. If you don't see it, you might need to press the up arrow to see more icons.
A panel will open on the right that lists detected wireless networks.
At the bottom of the panel, you'll see buttons for Wi-Fi and Airplane mode.
Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled and Airplane mode is disabled.
Select your wireless network from the list.
You can check the box next to Connect automatically if you prefer.
Now select Connect.
If it requires a password, it'll prompt you. In that case, enter your credentials and follow the prompts.
