Adding waveform from

Hi,
I wrote an application using USB 6215 DAQ in order to aquire analog signal on AI0. I aquire signals in continuous mode, that means loop structure is used. I would like to add waveform from loop iteration 1 to waveform from loop iteration 2 (loop iterations ale 1,2,3,4,5,6...) in order to compare them. In loop iteration 2 so I will have waveform from iteration 1 and iteration from iteration 2. Next iteration (3rd) I would like to have waveform from iteration 2 and iteration 3 to compare them. I used append to waveform VI, but I always want to see only 2 waveforms (from current loop iteration and from previous iteration). Any suggestion?

If I understood your question, this should do what you need. I used a waveform generator as I don't have a DAQ source on this PC.

Trouble capturing waveform from PXI-4472

I'm really a very green newbie at this stuff, so bear with me...
I've got a PXI-4472 data acquisition board and a PXI-5411 waveform generator. I've connected the arbitrary out of the 5411 to the channel 0 in on the 4472. An external oscilloscope shows a 1v-amplitude sine wave being generated.
I created a very simple VI to show what the 4472 is capturing. It connects a NI-DAQ channel I generated to the standard "AI Acquire Waveform.vi", then out to a Waveform Chart, all within a while loop with a Stop button. Problem is, all the waveform chart seems to be showing is the running average of the waveform instead of the form itself (solid line, a tad above zero).
I can hook the 4472 input channel up to a DC-out power supply, a
nd when I vary the voltage, the waveform chart changes as well.
So my question (whew!): What's wrong here that's not allowing me to capture a waveform from the 4472 (in turn from the 5411) and display it on my waveform chart?

Never mind.... it was a sample rate problem. I upped the sample rate and it came out ok.

How to get latest added file from a folder using apple script

I am trying to get a latest added file from a folder..and for this i have below script

By using this i am not able to get latest file because for some files the creation date is some older date so is there any way to get latest file based on "Date Added" column of a folder.

If you don't mind using GUI Scripting (you must enable access for assistive devices in the Accessibility System Preference pane), the following script should give you a reference to the last item added to any folder. Admittedly not the most elegant solution, but it works, at least under OS X 10.8.2.

I have added music from my CD library to iTunes but now my iPod will not sync. Message says not enough free space. How can I sync only a portion of my library to my 8Gb Nano?

I have added music from my CD library to iTunes on my PC. I now have too many songs in my iTunes and I have insufficient space in my 8 Gb Nano. I am unable to sync my iPod now. How can I get my iPod to sync? I only want a portion of my songs on the Nano.

First, make sure your iTunes does not attempt to sync automatically. Open iTunes, and select Preferences under the iTunes menu item:
Then, once you have hooked up your device and selected it, you should see the device Profile pages to the right. Select the Music tab:
Once you get to the Music detail screen, you will see the option to "Sync Music". You can then select "Sync Entire Music Library" or you can select "Sync Selected Playlists, Artists, Albums, Genres". Click on the second one. Then, below, you can select which of your music from the library you want on your device:
Your will show a list of your music. Mine doesn't because I sync with an iTunes library on different computer, but once you have selected the options I have shown you, you will see the music listed. Just pick what you want on your device and then click "Sync" at the bottom.

When I record an audio track, there is a waveform. When I stop recording, the waveform disappears and becomes a straight line. It also disappears from the track edit window. But the sound is there. How can I stop the waveform from disappearing?

In Logic:
Preferences/Audio Set Recording Delay to 0 <zero>
This should always be set to zero unless a specific set of circumstances exist and you're audio drivers do not report position correctly.
On occasion, usually when importing a Logic 9 project, Logic-X randomly changes this to a negative/positive number. It's actually a bug in Logic, as it should always display the waveform.

Why doesn't adding Waveforms with compound arithmetic work?

Hello everyone,
I have a program that adds up multiple waveforms and displays them all together as one distorted curve in a single waveform graph.
I've had to add them all together using simple add functions, since the compound arithmetic block doesn't work.
Why would this be the case? Isn't it essentially just doing multiple additions in a convinient way? I've attached a VI with a simple example to show what I mean.

1. No need to wire up the N. The autoindexing will tell how many iterations to perform.
2. Use Delete From Array to remove one of the waveforms from the array. Initialize the shift register with the deleted portion.

Create waveform from a set of points with differtent time intervals

Hello,
I would like to create a waveform from a set of points like this
Time           Data
0                 0
0,5              1
0,6              2
1                 1
2                 0
5                 1
The problem is that the time interval between each points are not the same.
The only idea I found was to create a waveform for each doublet of points with the same rate (100ms) and than to append them together.
Does anybody have a better idea?

If you use a Wave From data type, re-sampling is not required.
When using a WF datatype the chart (graph) will pick-up the X value from the t0 of the waveform.
The trick is to just build an array of the single update value and make sure the t0 value is correct.
Re-create this example
and try it for yourself.

Note: make sure the data you pass is consistant with the data already displayed. If you post a t0 value that is older than what is already displayed, the chart will clear the display and start over.

Adding fields from KOMK structure to screen painter.

Hello Everyone,
i have created an Extra tab(like ADDITIONAL DATA B) using BADI, i have added fields from VBAP table, its working fine. But when i add fields from KOMK structure(KOMK-STCEG) only empty field is showing. Do i need to code something in PBO or PAI?

I assume that you have linked the field KOMK-STCEG using "Get from Dictionary" option from your above screenshot.
In PBO section, make sure to write the logic to update the value in the field. The logic which you would build, would be based on your requirement. For instance, you can use BELNR to check and its corresponding STCEG could be found in the structure KOMK.
But if the KOMK structure itself is not filled with any value, then there is some problem with your code. Try to check your BADI and its corresponding structures which would get updated at runtime and use them appropriately.

How to save only newly added elements from the trailing list

I have a shuttle bean with left and right trailing lists.
At some point I save the right trailing list content to DB. Then I add additinal elements to the trailing list. Trying to save again gives me oracle.jbo.TooManyObjectsException: JBO-25013: Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key
exception.
What is the approach I can take to only save newly added elements from the shuttle?
I am wondering if I can put the extra logic (what logic would that be - do I need to check the PK value that is already in the database?) in the AM method with which I save the shuttle like here (TicketID and ResponsibilityID are primary key)

I run the VO (that I will create) VO.executeQuery?Yes you do need to execute the VO for every record....by passing the different parameter in each iteration.

WrapPanel not found even after adding it from Blend

Everytime I run I get a parse error that tells me WrapPanel is not found in the assemblies, even though it builds fine. I added it from blend and made sure all of the references were there. What step could I be missing?

Hi all,
I faced the same problem: in one application the control worked fine but not in the other one.
While checking the dll in .\bin\Debug I detected, that System.Windows.Controls.Toolkit and System.Windows.Controls.Toolkit.Internals were not present.
The solution was quite easy: Adding the two dlls also to the main project.
In my case the structure of the LightSwitch solution is:
MySolution
MyWrapPanel
MyLightSwitchProject
MyLightSwitch.DesktopClient
MyLightSwitch.Server
Refereces to the two toolkit-dlls have to be added to MyWrapPanel and MyLightSwitch.DesktopClient.
I hope this helps other people trapping into this bug.

adding music from cd

Bought a new i mac, but it doesn't have facility for CD's as they're being phased out. I still have lots of CDs with music I love on them, so want to somehow get this music into my new i mac & into my i phone for my art workshops.
My 'old' Macbook pro can take CD's but is unstable (on its 3rd HD! hence the new i mac purchase!) so I have been unwilling to build up my itunes library on the Macbook HD as I don't trust it.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated (as we are getting tired of hearing the same old tunes on the iphone...)

Ok that is easy.
1) File > New Smart Playlist.
2) Make sure match the following rule is checked
3)The first drop down change to date added.
4)Set the second drop down setting
5) Enter the number you want based on step 4
The rest of the check marks are up to you but make sure "Live Updating" is checked.
Take some time playing around with the smartlists. I love them!! I have a 2 level smartlist at work, I hardly use the regular playlists.
