Adding zones into zoneset

hello
how do a new zone is made the member of the existing zoneset.
we have an active zoneset for a vsan. looking to add a zone into this zoneset
steps followed
created device alias for a host with its pwnn
created a zone
add the device alias into the zone
add the zone into the zoneset
we have around 26 zones into this zoneset. show zone status says total zones 27, 26 are active. this new zone is not active
how to make this new zone active? is it that we have to use the command zone activate name <zonesetname>
but the zoneset is already active?
i prefer using CLI

From the CLI it should be a case of running "activate" to activate a zoneset and "distribute" to enable zoneset propagation.

Adding a new Zoneset

How can I create a new Zoneset for a new Vsan, in Excel or notepad and then import into the CLI? Can it be scripted? Or imported into Fabric Manager?

If you really felt the need to, you could import your zones in the command line. However the easiest way to create a new Zone and Zoneset is to use fabric manager. This is gui based, and will greatly simplify things and reduce errors in your configurations.

How do I stop itunes from automatically adding songs into my itunes library?

I want to disable itunes from automatically adding songs into my library. Every time I sync up my ipod I'm finding miscellaneous debris on it that itunes keeps importing into it. Theres got to be a way to disable this function but I can't seem to find it in the preferences. I'm using a 2011 macbook pro with os x 10.6.7.

I figured out how to change itunes as my default player. I did this by selecting a new audio file and hitting cmd and I to get info, then I selected the "open with" category. Inside "open with" theres an option to open the file with quick time, underneath that is the "change all" option. select that and you will solve this problem if this is a nuisance to anyone else.

Convert Solaris 10 Zones into a Logical Domain

I am in the process of building a Solaris 10 server on a T3-2 server. I am installing the 8/11 update of Solaris 10 and will be installing OVM for SPARC v2.2 on the server to migrate our older physical servers to Logical Domains. Currently we are running a number of Solaris Zones on Solaris 10 servers. Instead of creating a Logical Domain for each of the physical servers with zones on them, I want to convert each of the zones into a logical domain. The zones are running on SunFire V890s and SunFire V440 servers. They are running the 10/09 update of Solaris 10 that has been patched to the latest kernel level, 147440-15. Can anyone guide me in an appropriate procedure to build the logical domains? Thanks.

Cluster Storage : All SAN drives are not added up into cluster storage.

Everything seems to be working fine except one minor issue which is one of the disk not showing in cluster storage even validation was without any issue, error or warning. Please see the report
below where all SAN disks are validate successfully, and not added into Window Server 2012 storage.
Quorum disk was added successfully into storage, but data disk was not.

Renaming Zones and Zonesets

Good Day,
Just a basic question. We use 9509's and 9513's for our SAN configuration. If I rename either a zone or an active zoneset does this in any way disrupt the connections using the zone or the zoneset. I want to standardize the naming conventions for our systems to better identify what they serve.

I'm not sure you can just rename the zone and zoneset. I think you may have to edit the current zoneset and add in duplicate zones with the new name, then delete the existing zones, with the old name, and then reactivate the current zoneset to push the change out. As long as there is no change in zone membership, no connectivity should be impacted.
As for the zoneset name, you may have to create a duplicate zoneset with the new name, and all the zones...with the new names...then activate the new zoneset name. Again, this should cause no impact to existing connectivity since the zone members will not be changing.

Your problem starts here:
Set DepthMarker = myDocument.Textframes.Item
...which item? Item takes either an integer (the index of the item) or a string (the contents of the label property, if any).
Next, however, is that you should be more specific about *where* the text frame is in the document. What page or spread is it on? Let's say that the frame "DepthMarker" is on page 1:
Set DepthMarker = myDocument.Pages.Item(1).TextFrames.Item(1)
If there's only one frame on that page, you're in great shape. If not, you need to come up with some way to differentiate one frame from another. Script labels are a great way to do this. Let's say you've used the Script Label panel to add the label "DepthMarker" to the relevant frame on page 1, and added the label "WarningText" to another frame. In that case, you'd use something like this:

Adding objects into query Panel and no display report

Hi Folks,
I had an issue with WEBI .
Iam running the report with few objects at first time , all objects are displayed in the table format of report.
I saved and closed the report .
Later i opened the report and edited the report by adding new objects into query panel and runing it.
but this time i did not find the new objects in display table in report as like DeskI.
If we find the solution for this , it will be great help to me.

The objects will be in the data tab. Objects are not automatically added to your report in Webi, they are made available in the data panel, and you can choose which objects to add.

Trouble adding photos into iMovie project

In one particular Project, when I try and add still photos, when I drag them into the project window I see the green line and the green 'plus sign', but then the pictures are not actually added...why is it doing this? It works in other Projects, so I'm wondering if it's just a glitch.

I had this problem last year (August-Sept 2007), and I'm having it again now (August 2008). When I import jpeg photos from iPhoto to iMovie, they turn black and are not accessible in iMovie. In addition, this time when I imported several photos, the replay of the iMovie became jerky. When I threw out the photos, the movie became smoother, the way it was originally. There seems to be some sort of bug that has not been fixed in over a year.

Is there any easier way to add time value "now" into a date format with time value 00:00
I managed to add the time
Value(dateVariable)+(Value(Now())-Value(Today()))
I just wander if there is any easiest way to do that or if there is any planed options for that?

I know about this. My scenario is that I use my custom date picker where user can pick a date. For easier date picking I use date format (today) and then adding day ,month or year into that so the date formant is in time 00:00. I
need to add now time in that date so I can sort entry by date and also by time in a collection I managed to do that with the format mentioned above but I just wander if there is also any other way to do that. We already have excellent code DateAdd where we
can add days months and years but I can't really add time with this code. I don't think that DateAdd can add time into date format or at least I haven't figure it out yet. If not there would be nice to have A TimeAdd code then instead of calculations

Adding Invoices into SAP Business One via web service.

Hello!
I am partially done with my project. However, I am down to a couple of problems which hinders the progress of my project.
When I create an invoice with 2 items it will be inserted perfectly into the SAP Business One. However, when a second invoice with another 2 items is created the newly inserted invoice will reflect 4 items. 2 from the first invoice and the remaining 2 from the current invoice.
May I know what is the problem? I have been debugging for the past 2 nights and i couldn't find any headways.

Adding Item into XMLListCollection

Hi
I store my data into a XMLListCollection variable (name XC).
The initial lengt of this XMLListCollection is 10 items (for
example: XC.length==10). I leave the user to filter this data and I
added a filterfunction to this variable. I set another function
named sync() that run every 10 seconds (for example). This function
is trying to insert an element into XC:XMLListCollection at a
specific position (for example 8 XC.additemat(item,8)). After the
user filter the data, the length is 2 and when the sync() function
is activated, this function call "addItemAt(item,8)" and I receive
"Index out of Bound...".
I know how to read the entire list (XMLList) using the
.source properties but I don't know how to insert an element at a
specific position (for example 8).
Please help me (if you know)

I want to store this variable on the local disk into a
SharedObject. So, if I stored the entire collection (with 10
items), and the server send to the user another item I want to
insert this item into the collection even the item received from
the server is not visible by the user (because of filtefunction).
When the user want to save the data I want to use
sharedobject.flush() and I expect to save the entire collection (11
items). When the user enter again in this form I want to show 11
items and the user can filter this items in multuple ways. Thanks
