Addition of a 100% view feature to check sharpness
I really like the Bridge browser, however, it is missing one critical feature for my use - the addition of a toggle that will allow multiple pictures to be evaluated at 100% magnification to check sharpness. Photo Mechanic has a very nice implementation of this. Please add this and I will use Bridge for all imaging sorting and review immediately after shooting.
Thanks!

David,
The post that was at the top of the forum before you posted your request was requesting the same feature.

"Over 100 New Features List" ??
Ever since the release of IOS4, I have heard the term "over 100 new features" thrown around, yet I can not find an official list of these features. Does anybody know where an official list can be found with each feature number listed out? I feel like it is just a hype term they have used, but it isn't documented anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How can a open a file in a 100%view in cs6?
Files open depanding on the filesize in 16,7%, 25% or 33,3%. But sometimes I just want to open the files in 100% view to check the sharpness. How can I do this? I used to open the file, double click on the zoom tool, check the sharpness and close it again. But to save time I would like to open the files in the 100% view, without doubleclick on the zoomtool, is this possible?
ThanksI tried this, but nothing happend when I create an action an the red button is on to record an I go on view_ acutal Pixels nothing happens. It is nothing I can record in an action. Do you know why?

One of the reasons I'm still using BreezeBrowser for sorting through my shots from sporting events is the ability to easily do a 100% view. This allows me to see how good a focus I had and then either delete the image or move it to another directory for the next step in my workflow.
Any chance Bridge could provide a 100% view either through a short-cut or right mouse click? Here's what I am doing. Select all the images you want to view. Enter slideshow mode using Ctrl(Command)+L. Few people bother reading the actual help screen that pops up. If you press C you can bring up the caption (name and ranking) of an image. Using 1-5 will change the "star" rating on the images. Pressing D changes the display mode and gives you 1 of 3 options: centered, fit to screen, and fill screen. Depending on the actual resolution and dimensions of your images, you should be seeing a relatively close to 100% view of the image using the fill screen option. Although you are not able to move around the image (which would be a beautiful feature), you get a very good idea of the overall focus of the image. Now using 1-5, you can rate the image as a 5 for keep and 1 for toss or whatever you like. After the last image, the slideshow should exit and the bridge should update with all your ratings. Use filtering to select all the 1s or whatever and then toss them from the card and go on to shooting. Hope that helps.

I cannot view my cancelled checks on a bank website even tho cookies are disabled
I can view my statements from my bank but when I click on the link to view my cancelled checks a box appears saying "No Image". I have disabled cookies; doesn't help. I have checked cookies and put the bank site in the exceptions box, doesn't work there either.
It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right-click context menu while saving an image.
See:
* http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_do_not_load
* You can see the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
* You can see all exceptions in [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Menu_differences Firefox > Preferences] > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
You can also check the Tools > Page Info > Media tab for blocked images -
Opening a PDF file in 100% view.
I need to know how to change the view when opening up a PDF file. Everytime I open a file it opens in 200% view.
How do I get them to always open in 100% view?Every time I close and reopen Acrobat X my custom Page Layout and Zoom settings are reset to "Automatic." The issue is how to save these settings so they remain, permanently, unless and until I change them. Clicking "OK" in the preferences box does not do the trick, at least for me. I just want all documents to open at my preferred zoom setting. This seems so elementary. I'm running WIndows 7 Professional.

The 100 new features in the 3.0 update?
Does anyone know what they were? I have the spotlight search, the landscape option for texting, the voice recorder but other than that, what is there? I don't have 100 new features like it said. I don't even have the videocamera. The one thing I wanted.

100% view for print docs but not for web based layouts?
Why do documents view at the correct on screen size when set at 100% for print documents but to view a document at the right pixel size for web it's more like 66.4%?
ThanksIn CS6 if you double-click the Zoom tool you'll get the 1:1 monitor to pixel ratio, which is the same as Photoshop's and earlier ID version's 100% view.
You can also go back to the earlier functionality via scripting, see this thread for scripts:

100 New Features in iPhone OS 3.0? WHAT ARE THEY!?
I've noticed apple saying there are 100 new features in the iPhone OS 3.0. What exactly are they? I've watched the presentation video that was like over an hour long and there really are only maybe 20 new features mentioned. That is, as long as they're not counting 'cut, copy, and paste' as 5 different features since it works for mail, safari, notes, etc.
is there a list of the 100 new features? cause i want to know themI'm so simple that all I want is universal ringtones across all apps that have "alert" sounds (text messages, email, calendar- already available on phone calls & clock). Hate the provided sounds Apple gives us, would like to be able to assign specific music or self-made sounds so that I can hear them in a loud area, that are continual until answered, and that can be set as app-specific, just like ringtones can be caller-specific. Most phones have this feature, and I would use it daily, unlike many of the new features being touted. Anyone seen any mention of this (I watched the presentation, not mentioned). Oh, and please don't be a troll and tell me to contact Apple with a request- I do it on a weekly basis. Just looking for info, not basic noob advice.
BTW, I am soooo happy that MMS will finally be provided, as it will put an end to the "old" technology vs. use an email to send pictures argument so prevalent here. That particular back-and-forth has become quite aggravating. (Don't really care that much about MMS, rarely use it, but if it puts those arguments down, good for Apple.) -
ANN: LRViewer now shows ratings and 100% views; exports JPEGs; customizable
(LRViewer is a free app for the Mac and Windows that allows you to view Lightroom images and metadata without using Lightroom itself. Previously announced here.)
A major LRViewer upgrade, Version 1.1, is now available for download from ImageIngester.com. You can now:
* See ratings (1 - 5 stars) along with the image file name.
* Zoom in to see a 100% view, and then pan with the mouse.
* Export JPEGs with EXIF and XMP info.
This version also includes LRVmaker so that photographers can customize the appearance and behavior of LRViewer for their clients by:
* Placing a logo on the screen.
* Showing a button that goes to the photographer's web site.
* Opening a catalog automatically when LRViewer starts up.
* Starting with a selected collection or other outline item, and controlling which outline items show.
* Marking images with a watermark.
* Preventing clients from accessing EXIF info and metadata, from viewing images above a certain size, and from exporting JPEGs.
For more information or to download LRViewer and LRVmaker, go to ImageIngester.com.
--MarcFor those of you that have been looking for a tool to 'rescue' your images when you lose your originals, this is it. If you have rendered 1:1 previews, it will even give you that preview from the database. So this is worth buying even if you are just using it as a well designed 'rescue' tool.
Imagine being able to go up to any computer, even if it does not have Lightroom installed, plug in a USB thumb drive, and view a catalog that you put on that thumbdrive. This is what the tool allows. And LRVmaker adds lots of customization if want to leave a copy of your catalog behind for someone else to review. -
So...about those 100 new features?
dont get me wrong, i think the new software is awesome. but i dont see how it has 100 new features.
Some are up front and noticeable without looking, and some are under the hood so to speak with settings, etc.
