Additional Data B Tab; screen#8309 scroll bar problem
Hi
I created additional fields to capture Quotation related information. There are about 43 custom fields added to VBAK using append structure.
These have modified the Screen#8309 to include all those fields. Looking at attributes of the screen#8309, it says Occupied 31 lines and 121 columns.
When I execute transaction VA21 and my display is average screen size, I see about 21 lines and scroll bar to see the rest of the screen. When I click on the scroll bar, the rest of previously hidden section of the screen shows blank.
If I maximize my screen, all the fields show up correctly. When the screen is in a reduced size and section that become visible when we use the scroll bar remain blank.
I compared the attributes of screen#8309 and fields I have added with other SAP Screens which are long and run into multiple screens, I don't see anything specific parameter or flag that will initialize the hidden section of the screen.
Question is how to get the hidden section of screen to populate automatically!?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Vasava Krishnamoorthy

Hi All,
Is there any way or in config that we can enhance the VA01/VA02/VA02 with one more tab other than 'Additional Data B' tab.
i want to add 'Additional Data C' tab for a requirement.
Please give your valuable comments.
Thanks,
Jaffer Ali.SHi ,
It can't done for the VA01/VA02/VA03.
these are available for the .

(i.e., If one material is not available what is the other material that has to be used as an alternative. So it is item specific).
V45A0002 Predefine sold-to party in sales document--->By Description we understand that we can predefine sold-to party in the sales document. (i.e., it is used to populate the field sold-to party through user-exit while entering the data. ) But our requirement comes after entering the data in the screen and save button is pressed.

This description implies that whenever we create a Delivery Order from Sales Order it copies the packing proposal Based on the already created Sales order. So, there is no chance for us to save the data while we create or change a Sales order.
We can't done.

Hi ,
I have a requirement to add a custom field at item level in Additional Data B tab of VA01/VA02. We have to store the data in that field in the VBAP table also have to validate the data entered in the field when user hit save.

Appreciate your response.
Thanks,
RohitAdd append structure ZAVBAP in table VBAP in Tcode: SE11.
In this structure include the new fields to be added to the screen.
Then in Tcode : SE80

take screen 8459 and add the new field.
Also add the validation in the flow logic. -

RoboHelp 8: Vertical scroll bar problem
I just installed RoboHelp 8. When I view a topic page that is longer than the window, sometimes the vertical scroll bars appear and sometimes they don't. If I click the <> HTML tab and then click the Design tab again, the scroll bar appears. The scroll bar also appears if I click the "Save" or "Save All" button. I also don't see a Service Pack for RoboHelp 8. Is that true?
I'm attaching 2 screen shots (both of the same topic) - one when I first go in to a topic and the scroll bar does not appears and one when I go to the HTML tab or Save and then scroll bar appears.Hi there
No, there is no service release for version 8 as yet.
Could it be simply that focus is inside another pod when you fail to see the scroll bar? Perhaps you have clicked to select the Single Source Layouts pod and you see the scroll bar goes away?
Just guessing here... Rick

Enhancement in VA01 Additional data B tab
Hi All,
I have added 2 fields in tcode VA01 in header --> Additional Function --> Addtional data B (screen 8309) which are getting saved in VBAK table in custom fields which i have added in VBAK table using append structure.
Now my requirement is, for a particular order type one of the fields which I have added in Additional data B screen should be mandatory. For that i have wriiten a code in PBO (include MV45AOZZ)
LOOP AT SCREEN.
IF VBAK-AUART = 'Z2OR' AND SY-TCODE = 'VA01'.
IF SCREEN-NAME = 'VBAK-ZZTRIPORDER'.
SCREEN-REQUIRED = 1.
MODIFY SCREEN.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.
Now this code is working fine if I visit that screen (Additional data B screen), but it is not working if i dont visit that screen. I want that the document will not get saved if that field blank for that particular order type.
Can anyone help me please?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
SURYAHi
If you are in the screen, it works, if no, it doesn't work. The manner to do it is with a userexit. Try it with USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in include MV45AFZZ for instance.
I hope this helps you

Scroll Bar Problem after Printing a web page containing multiple page data
Hi All,
I have a web application which has two DIV, one is main and one is child. I am having problem in printing multiple pages. There is a lot of data in the child DIV and i am using JavaScript functions to control the print functionality. When i print using window.print(), only the data on the main page currently being showed is printed. I further researched and checked out the Style.Overflow property.
Now i am using divMain.style.overflow = "visible"
After this the complete print comes. But in Firefox, the scroll bar disappears and only single page is left with no scroll bar .
Now if after print i give divMain.style.overflow = "Auto" OR divMain.style.overflow = "Scroll", still the scroll bar doesn't come and if it comes then its inactive. I am unable to see the complete data on the page after the print is taken.
The problem is not coming in I.E and the full data with scroll bar is recovered in I.E.
Please help me how to get the normal page with full data and scroll bar after printing in Firefox.
Thanks,
Manujhi, i would update my reader first to the newest version.
does the size of the textfield never change, independant how much text is in it?
perhaps check your subforms, if they are type "position" size does not change in my opinion, except your parent subforms expand to fit....
or use "flowed" subforms...and regard the parent subforms too! -
Data Table Fixed rows and Scroll Bar
Hi
I have data table which displays the data dynamically, but when there is no data , the table is shrinking and moving the other elements of the page. Is there any way i can keep to fixed number of rows irrespective of data presence?
Like i need to display only 10 rows at a time, if there are 7 rows in DB, i have t o display 7 rows containing data and rest as blank .
If my data increases more than 10 rows how can i enable Scroll Bar Automatically on this?
Thanks in advance. Then add empty row objects to the collection or datamodel which is been passed to the datatable value.

Clickable tabs that control Scroll Bar
Ok, so here's something I really want to do but am not exactly sure how to pull it off.
On my Portfolio site: http://www.joshkempdesigns.com
I've got a scroll bar that allows a user to sift through my work. What I want, along the left site of the content area, are tabs that say "Home, About, Photography, etc..." and I want the user to be able to click one of these tabs and have the scroll bar "slide" the content to that desired area.
I think this is possible, bt I must be trying things entirely wrong, because I want the user to be able to se the scroll bar at any time as well as quickly have the slider move to a section if they'd rather click a tab.
Any suggestions?
JoshFrom within Flash Catalyst, the answer is unfortunately no. However, you can add this functionality with Flash Builder. I built a demo in Flash Catalyst 1.0, so instead of a tab bar, I have 3 buttons that jump to different app icons in the list.
The core of the code is two lines: setting the selectedIndex of the list (apps.selectedIndex = 3;). Note the list has an id of 'apps'. And setting apps.ensureIndexIsVisible(3); That line will cause the list to jump to that index. That is all you need to get the base functionality working
You might something a little visually appealing, so take a look at this post:
http://graphics-geek.blogspot.com/2009/12/video-programmatic-scrolling-animation.html to add in some nice animation.
Hope this helps,

}Mostly I see there is about 100 times as much code as I care to look at.
So you don't know how to get a panel in a scroll pane, and then get that scroll pane into your GUI? Then try doing that by itself, not encumbered with 10000 lines of irrelevant code. Once you have it working, plug it into the big lump of code. Or if you can't get it working, ask about the small problem here. -

Horizontal scroll bar problem in Portal????
Hi Guys,
I am facing some problem when i open any thread. Horizontal scrollong bar is coming at the end of the thread.
eg: If i have some text in the thread which is more than width of the screen and has some 10 replies to that thread, Then i should be able to scrool at that position itself. But now i have to scroll down till end of all the replies and then i have to scroll the horizontal bar to right/left and scroll up to particular reply to see what is there.
Is there any enhancement going on in portal or it is specific to my system? Please do let me know.
Thanks,
Vinod.I too am facing this problem with the horizontal scroll bar.
There are many other bugs, but I am reluctant to spend my time reporting them as last time I reported a problem here, I got a rude response.

I have several text boxes that pull text from external text files. I drag and instance of the UIScrollBar into the text box and it snaps to the right side just fine. When I test the movie in Flash, the scroll bars work fine. When I test off the server with Firefox, you can see the scroll bar but you cannot use it. It looks similar to a scroll bar in a text box without enough text to scroll, but I have plenty. When I use IE, the first time you visit a page it is the same way. If you click on another page, then navigate back the scroll bar will work. Like I said, I drug out an instance and named them. I've looked through several books but can't find any answers. Thoughts?
You probably need to use the update() method of the UIScrollbar after the text is assigned to the textfield. In some cases you can get away with it when testing locally, but in the case where the data file can take an amount of time to load, I've found it necessary to refresh the scrollbar using that method.
