Additional domain drop down available in user creation

We have a mixed Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 DCs (corp.intel). We have several OUs that are able to select @company.com as domain dropdown when creating users' logon name. Just wonder how they made additional domain (in addition to corp.intel) available
when creating users' logon name?

Did anyone experience drop down in # of user usage in Apple's weekly report after transitioning to the new structure (or design)?
We transitioned our public iTunes U site on the first week of April.
Since then, the number in the apple's weekly report showing the user usage of the site dramatically went down.
I don't think all the RSS feeds and the URL of our podcasts changed due to the transition.

SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.0 BPEL Process, no domain drop down.

I've installed SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.0 with an Oracle 10g Enterprise Dehydration Database on a separate server. Currently we have two BPEL Domains, however, when trying to launch the BPEL Console, I do not get a drop down list to select between the two domains. I've searched and so far none of the answers seem to fit.
I'm using RHEL 4. Thanks!

Even , I am facing the same problem .
If I go to BPEL Admin , there also I am not getting the Domain List .
I reinstalled all the process and again I instllaed the 10.1.2 BPEL Process .
Again did the same thing that is creating user, tablespace etc in Linux Machine .
Still not getting the default Domain ...
Please suggest me where I am wrong ....

Lock drop down for end users

I want to create a from that contains drop down menus so I can pick values to save time not having to type in the information. I have figured this out! The problem is I want to be able to distribute this form to teachers but not allow than to change the values I have picked from the drop menu. I also want the form to have text fields where they can enter the name of student, date etc., so they would have to be able to edit those fields. Is this even possible? I am probably missing something obvious. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the info Bob. I tried that but Acrobat seems to treat drop downs like filling in form fields so the end user can still use the drop down menu.

Populating a drop down list of users using JSON from a REST call

First post, have just started the mammoth project of turning us paperless.
My first task has been to create a header template - this header to be used on any form we use. I got this done almost without issue, it seems the only complication is to attach the username to the document.
Initially I tried to do this with a text field. I set this up with a calculation script to set this.rawValue = identity.username (also tried identity.name), however further reading taught me that that requires priviledged context (haven't figured out what that is or how to get it yet, but it seems like a 'no' for this method).
My next step has been to attempt to let the user pick their username from a list. "Easy!" I thought, "I just set up a webscript last week to return a configurable list of user details. My web script (it runs off of Alfresco CMS, for the record) is accessed from an URL like https://docs.ourcompany.com:8443/alfresco/service/ourcompany/users?useGroup=[a user group]&filter=[a filter string] and returns JSON like this:

But when I preview the form I get nothing, no errors, no alerts, no filling of the dropdown. I've read a few conflicting forum posts on whether or not xmlHttpRequest works within liveCycle forms, so I suppose the guts of my question boils down to- does it?

Drop down list for User ID's and SAP List viewer format

Couple of quick questions. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
1) I need to put User ID on the selection criteria screen. And also, I need to build a dropdown list for user ID selection by finding all user IDs in the Finance department and put it on the list.

Creation of additional drop downs in 'Item overview' tab page on portal

Hi,
I would like to know how do we add additional fields/drop downs on the xRPM portal in the 'Item Overview' tab page.
For eg:
We are having TECHNOLOGY TYPE field at Item overview tab page in xRPM portal - Portfolio Management view. Wherein we can have different dropdown values for selection.
Question 1 -> Can we have similar dropdown created on the same page? If yes, how?
Question 2 -> If we want to create more than one such dropdowns with their own defined dropdown values, can we maintain the dependency between them ?

I went through the document on the mentioned by you.
But my requirement is a bit diiferent.
I want to have 3 different drop downs with a numeric field attached to them.The sum of these numeric fields should always be 100 (two values are manually selected but the third value should be calculated automatically based on the previously selected values).
Example,
I select 10 as a value for Drop down 1, 40 for drop down2 then for the drop down3 the value should populate automatically as 50 (100 - (10+40)).i.e. the sum being 100.
Can you or any one please help me with this.
Also I am not sure how do we give multiple options for selection (like 10,20,..50 etc upto 100) for a drop down.

If you plan to implement the "Querying the Active Directory" based on my code snippet,
and if you do not have permission [your account must be the part of domain admin] to do so,
Then still you can do it in least effort through code,

Customizing CA BCC by adding one drop downs in PMDL Editor (Promotion creation condition tab)

Is it possible to customize the PMDL generation in promotion creation condition tab. The change is to add one drop downs instead of type a literal. While selecting a particular property in condition tab the user need to select the value from a drop down. Now user selecting the “Type a literal” option and typing the string.

I am developing interactive form, where in we have a bunch of drop-down fields, i have created them by dragging Enumarated Drop-down (no select) item from WebDynPro Native (Its provided from SAP and ERP Back End system, pls. you guys disregard this WebDynPro & my_WebDynPro_SAP_application wordS) section of palatte and dropped on my_form layout, fine.
This my_form will be launched on the browser by executing the my_WebDynPro_SAP_application.
I am filling these drop-down field's list from my_WebDynPro_SAP_application. Say the list contain 3 entries like entry_1, entry_2 and entry_3
When i launching my_form on the browser and i saw the drop-down fields with out any populating the value(blank) on the form, but list holding the 3 entries, fine
If i drop-down the list then i can see all entrires (entry_1, entry_2 and entry_3), fine
Issue is: Say, by mistake user has selected entry_2, hence the entry_2 is populated on that drop-down field, fine....but after couple of seconds user has realised that, its a mistake and user want to keep that drop-down field 'as is' (meaning, blank), but, there is no chance! Once dropped down the list, user invariably has to select any one of entry from the list! There is no chance of keeping the drop-down field as blank!
Pls. let me know how can i fix my issue ( i passed an INITIAL entry along with other 3 enties: entry_1, entry_2 and entry_3? so total 4) but no USE?
Passing INITIAL entry has not worked! bcz adobe is deleting this INITAIL entry from the list
Is there any standard/good practice to achieve my requirement?

Hi,
There are a couple of options.
One would be to include a dropdown item " ", which will appear in the list as a blank option.
You could include a reset button next to the dropdown, which would reset just that dropdown back to it initial - no selection state.
Lastly, I have an example here where you can script if the user is holding down the Shift key. If they are then clear the field: http://assure.ly/j1KdNq.

Drop Down Adding Additional Information

I'm trying to make a work book where the individual select an item from the drop down menu. After making the selection, I need the information placed in three different location. However, each location's information will be different.
Example:
   In the drop down menu, the user will select Driving While Intoxicated.
   this information would be placed in another part of form in the "OFFENSE" section.
   I also need the infmation placed into the "STATUE CODE" section which would be different the Driving While Intoxicated.
   An third location "PENAL CODE": with different information.
Each charge has three items associated, OFFENSE, STATUE CODE AND PENAL CODE
Example Driving While Intoxicated (Offense code) - 4888477823 ( statue code) and 49.01 (b) (penal code)
I'm trying to make the user only have to select the Offense Code which woul relate the statue and penal code in other location on form.
Sorry little confusing. Can anyone give a suggestion.

Would like to know as how to configure drop-down choices that change dynamically based on customer response in Call Scripts / Assessment Scripts of type "Service Request - Survey".
I've read the following from CRM OnDemand pdf but was not able to figure out how to do that.
Call Scripting:
• Reduces agent training time
• Provides drop-down choices that change dynamically based on customer response
• Supports personalized interactions based on existing record data
• Facilitates up-selling and cross-selling
• Does not require third-party software
I don't have a concrete requirement as of now, but was trying to check as how it works. Please guide me if any one has implemented the same.

Drop Down in Detail Planning-PCP

When I am trying to do the detail planning for PCP via PHCPDETL - Detail Planning .I have done PHCPADMN - Manage and can see the differnet cost per cost plan and Cost Unit.
But in the BSP page via PHCPDETL there is no drop down available.

Changing Values of Drop Down Box??

I have created a form that has 100 drop down boxes, each drop down box has the same values for the user to choose. I would like to know if it is possible to remove the selected value from the remaining drop downs once it has been selected?
Example:
Drop Down Box 1: user selects "A" when the user moves to Drop Down Box 2 "A" is not available for selection but the remaining values are. User Selects "B", moves to Drop Down 3 and both "A and B" are not available for selection.
I hope this makes sense and can't figure out how to make this happen, I am a fairly new user to LC and would appreciate any help. Thank you for your time!!

While technically you can do this, I think that it would be a poor performance because the script would need to loop through the 100 dropdowns.
You would need to place script in the preOpen event of the dropdowns, that loops through and looks at previous selections.
I worked this up over the weekend, but it is not 100%. http://assure.ly/KXAUg5.
The script in the preOpen event calls a function in the AssureDynamics script object (see the Hierarchy).
Hopefully someone can pick up the running on this, as I wont be able to for the week.

Drop Down - maintaining Order of the List Problem

I have a Drop Down where the Code is

      </h:selectOneMenu>It is rendered properly and I can see the value in my backing bean when the Drop Down value changes.
Currently the Values in the Drop Down is in the same order as they are in the List which is populated in the Backing Bean. The Drop Down Component is common for all pages and is like a Header for all the pages.
My question is if I have 3 Values in the Drop Down and the User selects the 2nd Option is there a way to keep the Order of the Drop Down Values same but have the 2nd Option Selected in the Drop Down.
So until the User changes the Drop Down Values himself the Value selected by User is displayed as the selected Value.
e.g.
Jack Displayed Currently
John
Sarah
Now User select 2nd Option.
Jack
John Now in the subsequent pages JOHN should appear in the drop down by default but and the order of drop down remains same.

One way to do is to alter the Order of the list and then by default the first option is shown in the Drop Down, but I dont want to alter the List order.

That sound pretty easy.
Just set the value of #{myBean.yCode} to the user selected value during the subsequent page loads which use the same drop down.
I guess that will do the trick.
