Additional infos:
I´ve bought a shining Core i7 MBP some 10 days back, did a clean install of the OS, all software updated, and reinstalled all data from a time machine backup.
The mouse worked properly at first and after a few days, it started to lack the scrolling feature.
The System settings for the Mouse does not show me the options for the Magic Mouse, only for a "Mouse", I can only adjust Cursor speed and doubleclick-interval. On trying to "configure the bluetooth mouse", the computer says there is no mouse detected and seems to search for it. (But I´m still able to move the mouse and click somewhere.) BTW: the search seems to take forever, no results)
Tried two things:
1. created a new user on the same volume - same behaviour as above: Just clicking and no scrolling
2. did a fresh install of 10.6.3 on another partition of the drive and it detected the mouse and it worked like it should.
Feels to me as if there was a driver missing, hope I don´t have to wait for an update...

I don't have Magic Mouse, but it may be an issue with the bluetooth prefs. Try moving the com.apple.bluetooth.plist out of your Hard drive/Library/Preferences/ folder and restart. The file should get recreated and you can try to connect the Magic Mouse again.

Hi,
I am using smartform to print info on the preprinted stationary.
The info to be printed is coming fine, But it is printing additional info like Job Name and User name (Login name) on the top left hand side of the pre-printed stationary when we use "HP Jetdirect print server".
The same does not happen when i choose Epson printer as the Front end printer.
To check if this has got some thing to do with the printer settings, When i print a Word Document to the same printer "HP Jetdirect print server". It does not print the additional info ( job name , user name ).
So please let me know what could be the reason for this additional info printing on the preprinted stationary on One printer & Not on other printer.

Have your Basis look into the Printer initialization code in the transaction SPAD. This code is linked to the output device and paper format type, so it is possible that the same printer works differently with different paper media.
Also have them check if there is a cover page. Although it would print as a separate page, I believe...

ESS portal: Hide additional info field in release working time screen

Hi,
I need to know how can i hide 'additional info' field in the release working time screen?
I know i would use personalization but don't know the way to do that.

it will be shown in header only in release application, let me explain
In the time recording application, when you enter a record and click
on review, the additional info columns shows the text. This works
because the data is entered by the user and the entered record is
mapped to additional info column.
In time release application, all the records from database are retrieved
and displayed. The user does not enter any data. Hence in this case it
is not possible to map the records to text in the additional info
column. The Error/Warning messages are displayed in the top of the list
with detailed information. We feel the information displayed is
sufficient for the user to take necessary action. Usually in the release
application, there would be lots of records. Displaying text in both
additional info column and also at the top of the list is not a feasible
solution.
Technically it would be difficult for us to change this behavior in the
standard application.

'Additional Info' pages in a form?

Hi,
I am new to PDF forms and I am trying to make a field engineer report. I want the guys to edit the form like normal, but would love to add the ability to print additional info sheets for the customer. For example, if I am out repairing a computer that was full of dust and had overheated, I would check the 'PC Hygiene' checkbox. When I save or print the pdf it would print a page called PC Hygiene at the sametime. Same for viruses, internet browsing or anything else. I am happy for it to be included in the pdf or as seperate files.
Is this possible? If so, any pointers?

Unless anyone has any other way, you can use the setFocus method to a field on the page you want to move.

If you want to move to Last page, use xfa.host.setFocus("LastPage.TextField1");
If you want to move to First page, use xfa.host.setFocus("FirstPage.TextField1");
You already have the pageDown and pageUp methods to move between next and previous pages.

ECM - Additional Info Link on Planning Screen

In Enterprise Comp Mgmt, the planning iView has a link for additional info. It's configured in the hompage framework for ESS. The service is MSS_HCM_ECM_ADDLINK_SAMPLE and the resource is MSS_HCM_SERV_ECM_ADDLINK_SAMPLE. I have the parameter set in the iView. Also, I have the service configured to 'Direct URL launched in a separate window' and the quick link checkbox is checked. I want the link to open a new window to a location on the intranet...just a website address. What am I missing? The link does not do anything when I click on it.

I changed the settings according to your instructions. The problem now is that the website opens inside the portal framework. I don't want to see the portal tabs and other stuff surrounding the website page.

Blackberry Messenger "Additional Info" is wrong - I can't correct it

When I first opened up Blackberry Messenger, It asked me to associate a contact with my identity.
It was my first night with the touchscreen keyboard and I unwittingly selected the wrong contact from my list.
Now when I view my Contact Profile and look up "View My Additional Info" it has the information for the wrong contact.
I tried using the "Remove Link WIth Blackberry Contact" from the "View Additional Info" window, but even when I hit "yes" to the warning the wrong information still remains.
How do I change the info to the correct contact? or how do I reset the whole thing? or how do I edit the existing information?

UPDATE The issue seems to have resolved itself... Don't know if it was when I updated the BBM software or when I reset the device by removing the battery... ???

Reading Additional info for Material Document (Movement Types 313, 201)

Hi SAP Gurus,
I am currently working on a requirement for Material Document Interface.
The Requirement is as below:
(1) The user creates/modifies a material document using MB01/MB03/MIGO for movement types 313 and 201 separately.
(2) The user maintains additional information by creating a NOTE using the option
SERVICES FOR OBJECT --> CREATE NOTE.
(3) To Print the materail document information.
The Approach is followed is:
1) I have to retrieve the Address for From and To Locations respectively along with document data and display it as Simple List output.
Approach:
I retrieved the data from MKPF and MSEG tables respectively.
Also retrieved the data for FROM and TO locations using table TWLAD and function module ADDR_GET.
(2) I also need to retreive additional information created by the user using the option SERVICES FOR OBJECT --> CREATE NOTE.
Approach:
Request your guidance and inputs to solve the point (2) mentioned above.
I have debugged the SAP Standard tcode MB01, MB03 ,MIGO which have the option SERVICES FOR OBJECT --> CREATE NOTE.
I have also used ST05 to trace the transaction to get a proper solution.
But, i was able to observe that only a table SOOD provides the initial required info only which points to a office document type.
Looking forward to your valuable inputs, so that i can retrieve the data entered using the option SERVICES FOR OBJECT --> CREATE NOTE.

 In addition to my previous mail the exception seems to occur when:
 the message driven bean in the weblogic deployment desriptor uses:
 - Only <connection-factory-jndi-name> which points to a topic connection factory
 that has the client id field set. (So without the jms-client-id)
 - Both <connection-factory-jndi-name> which points to a topic connection factory
 that has the client id field set and <jms-client-id> which contains the same client
 id as the connection factory
 - Both <connection-factory-jndi-name> which points to a topic connection factory
 that DOES NOT have the client id field set and <jms-client-id> which DOES contain
 a client id.
 I don't know if this has something to do with it, but previously a different MDB
 had subscribed durably to the same topic by setting the client id in the deployment
 descriptor. The durable subscription was manually removed via the console and
 the server has been restarted afterwards, but the exception still occurs.

Urgent issues should go through customer support, this is an
 informal forum.
 The thing to understand is that only one
 active connection may use a given client-id at a time. Check
 JMS statistics to make sure there truly is no other
 connection using the client-id - you can get a list of
 active connections via the console.

Apple weather app display won't flip for additional info

Why does my apple weather app not flip to display the additional weather info like humidity and feels like temperature? I have iOS 8.1 and iPhone 6. It stopped working correctly when I had an iPhone 5 and the "fault" transferred when I upgraded. I'be tried to restart the app, restart the phone, and heck, I even got a new phone but the fault followed? It really annoys me that it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

How to Get Additional Info from LDAP

I have an application that is using LDAP authentication. Its working great but I would like to know if its possible to extract additional information about the user at the the point of authentication. For example when the user logs in and is authenticated it would be nice to be able to get their email address, phone, etc. at that time. Is this possible with the existing authentication scheme? I didn't see anything mentioned in the Help text.

Whilst that thread is more related to using the is_member function, the code I posted shows how you can query the attributes for a particular DN in an LDAP server.
So....I don't want to put the cart before the horse, but if it helps your case to make Apex (as it's known now rather than HTMLDB) "the winner", then I would stress that this feature is definitely achievable (but how difficult it is will depend on your exact requirements).
In short....definitely do-able....

Feedback from my Apple Store Survey (Additional info field)

The delivery of my iPhone docks was amazing, I placed the order about 1-2pm Tuesday and it arrived well before noon on wednesday. It was so quick I was stunned.
Too bad I can't purchase items like this through iTunes.
Probably not your field, but i'm extremly disapointed with the iPhone3G for many reasons;
1) iPod function of the iPhone is terrible compared to my old iPod Nano, I use to be able to manually manage my Podcasts and music between my home computer and my work computer, or at least be able to play them from my iPod when connected to iTunes at both ends.
2) The calendar/appointment aspect of the iPhone is useless, I cannot set the alert sound, I cannot see my upcoming appointments from the screensaver/unlock screen and or would be nice to have a "Today/Frontpage" like app, where this info and other custom choices can be displayed on one screen, rather then opening and closing apps all the time.
3) Missed Calls, SMS's and Email notifications need to be in that top info bar aswell with the time, carrier and battery info. Because in order to see these notifications you have to be on the home screen. ie, I have my iPhone docked at work, with the Apple Remote app running for iTunes, then walk over to the printer to grab something. Come back to my desk, glance at the iPhone thats sitting in its dock and i'm none the wiser if I had any SMS's, Missed Calls or Email sent to my iPhone, unless I return to the home screen to see the little red number next to the icon.
There is more but i'll leave it at that for now.
My happiness with the product itself is 50/50, I use to recommend iPods to everyone I knew, but not the iPhone. I discurrage them at this stage.

UNIX Executable Files - Additional Info Needed About Zipped Files

I've tried to go through all of the questions posted so far but each link leads me back to the same three or four discussions. I have downloaded zipped folders of sound samples. When they are unzipped the files all have an extra space added just after the extension. This causes them to be read as UNIX Executable files. I've discovered the problem but the only cure I've found is to open their info page and erase the space and then confirm that they are aif files. Is there any way to stop this from happening in the unzip process? If not is there a method to change these in large groups as opposed to confirming every file one at a time? I've done about 100 of them but the next folder has 275 files. Also if the sounds were zipped as stereo files this folder also appears to have separate Left and Right files. I'm not sure if that also could have happened in the file compression process. The download site has hundreds of folders from different contributors but the file formatting is very consistent. Thanks for your time.

Hi Anup,
You can pick up all the quotation documents from EKKO , EKPO table. While picking consider the document type and category in EKKO as (RFQ).
In the documet item level, you can find out the tax code (MWSKZ) in EKPO table.
so for each material, you have a tax code at document item level and net price also available in EKPO table.
Pass this tax code and net price to Calculate_tax_from_Net_amount FM to get all the excise duites and VAT.
Process these internal tables. you will get the final output.
