Additional PDF file conversion

HI All,
I see that Adobe XI doesn't convert Outlook files (.PST), is there a way to buy bolt/add on's that would allow for the expansion of file types that XI will convert?
Would you know if there are any other tricks/add ons that Adobe can do with regards to converting files into PDF's?
Many may thanks indeed,
Richsarada

Hi,
No,Adobe XI does not convert outlook files.
You can use Adobe PDF 'Plug-In' in outlook to convert.

    Hi,
You can attach any document to Sales Order.
First you need to enter that document through tcode CV01N in SAP.
Then in Sales Order select one Item then go to Extras & then select document. You can browse the document here which you have enter through CV01N.

  • Help With PDF FILE Conversion

    Hi,
I’ve been using Flash Professional CS 5.5 to create a “simple presentation” for a project I want funding for, which must be presented in a PDF format. I used CS5.5 thinking that the simple presentation template and the program in general was simple enough to just convert into a PDF, but I guess there are a lot of coding issues that don’t make that easy.
So what I’m asking for help on is how to convert my presentation (which has no animations...only graphics, texts, and a total of 8 key frames) into a PDF file.
It appears the closest I’ve gotten to this is to add the jpeg format in the "publishing settings" window (which I can than turn into a PDF file right?), but for some reason the jpeg file is not showing up on my computer (I also cant preview SWF file because it only appears to be accessible when I am using the file during editing).
    thanks for reading!
    Daniel

Try File -> Export -> Export movie (PNG sequence)
This should work just fine if you don't have any actionscript in the presentation (AS is ignored).

Let me know how it goes!

  • Bug in Preview in Snow Leopard when opening multiple pdf files at once

I receive 50-200 pdf files by e-mail each day. I have historically saved the pdf attachments to a folder, then selected all the pdf files in the folder (CMD A), then opened all the selected files in Preview (CMD O). After updating to Snow Leopard, downloading 34 pdf files to a folder, selecting them all, then attempting to open them all in Preview (using both CMD O, then File/Open, then File/Open With), the effort first opens 6 of the 34 files. Closing all then trying again results in 7 files being opened, closing all then trying again results in 8 files being opened, etc etc. Earlier today I had the same results, but eventually got a message asking if I wanted to open all in separate windows (I did) or a single window, and it opened all the files at once as I wanted. After shutting down, moving home, and receiving additional pdf files, however, back to the same open 5, then open 6, etc. problem. Anyone else having this problem or a suggestion on how to resolve?
    Thanks for suggestions,
    B

More info - apparently the bug isn't related to Preview, but to the attempt to open all pdf files in the folder with ANY program. After having Preview open 25 of the 34 files I was attempting to open, I then tried opening all 34 with Adobe Reader. It opened 26 (after Preview had opened 25). Tried again with Preview - it opened 27, then 28 with Adobe Reader. It doesn't necessarily open the FIRST 25 (or 26, etc) either, so it's difficult to work with the open ones, then go back and work with the remaining ones later.

  • Acrobat 9.5.5 multiple .pdf files open without toolbars displaying

Recently, I noticed that, when I open one .pdf file, all toolbars I have selected as customized are displayed.  But, upon opening additional ,pdf files, those files do not display my toolbars at the top - only the file menu shows up.  If I try to close the limited toolbar files, I get the error "Adobe Acrobat 9.5 has stopped working," and the programs aborts.  I've searched the web to no avail for a solution.  My work requires I have multiple Adobe files open, but these additional files have extremely limited functionality without the toolbars.
Event Viewer indicates the following errors:
    Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.dll
I'm running Win 7 Pro 64-bit, on Intel i7, with 14 GB RAM, 224GB SSD/68 GB free.  My system should more than amply support the application.
My thought is a recent Adobe update or Windows update caused this anomaly.  Has anyone else experienced this issue?  Please advise - I'm desperate for a resolution.  Thanks.

Update - when you select View -Toolbars on the additional files, all the customized toolbars are check-marked, so they should be displaying.  But, they don't.

    Bill@VT,
Thank you for your reply.  Your recommendation is not the issue for sure.  I had tested by opening numerous files on my system, which I know are not secure.  The first file opened with all toolbar functionality, and the rest of the files opened in limited view.  These are files I've created and opened numerous times in the past with no issues, until recently.
I've since installed Adobe Pro XI Trial, as well as a couple other .pdf maker apps.  I had already remove Adobe Pro 9.5.5, so I can't reinstall while I have XI on my system - the installation aborts.  My assessment, after spending hours researching it, is that there's a conflict in my OS and 9.5.5.  At this point, I have to cut my losses (time & billable hours) and move onto a more stable, dependable application.  It's probably not going to be an Adobe product, sad to say.  Too many issues, too little accessible and timely support.
I am grateful for your input in my scenario. Have a splendid day/evening!

  • PDF Files Turn to Gibberish

My .pdf files (scanned or converted using Acrobat or the PRINT option) turn to gibberish when put into iWeb '08,v 2.0.4(830A41). In addition, .pdf files already on the web page are OK but the same files reloaded onto the page are gibberish. The .pdf files appear normal in everything but iWeb. This started recently. I last loaded a .pdf about 2-months ago. The Adobe support is non-existant, but this seems to be an iWeb issue.

Maybe the problem is solved, or avoidable. I've been checking the appearance of the webpage using the "Visit site now" option after publishing the page using iWeb. When I view the page from the actual site using a browser, the gibberish document is not gibberish. The gibberish problem is only when viewed in the "Visit site now" option. Guess I won't rely on that feature in the future.

  • E-mail pdf files

How do I attach the newly converted pdf files to e-mails?

    Hi barbarajo
Click on the "Compose" button to create a new email message.
Address the email to the intended recipient, and then fill out the "Subject" and "Body" fields as you would with a normal message.
Click on the "Attach" button and navigate to your computer's desktop. Select the PDF that you saved in Step 1 and then click on the "Attach" button.
Repeat Step 6 for any additional PDF files that you want to attach, and then send the email as you normally would.

  • PPT action buttons are not present in pdf file upon conversion

    Hi
Am using Office 2003 (SP3) and Acrobat 8 (version 8.1.6).
Have been using action buttons in the presentations for several years, works fine.
When converting existing files, action buttons in both PPT show and pdf file just works, no problems.
Newly generated presentations work fine as PPT show. But when converted to pdf file, the action buttons are simply missing.
Have verified that all action buttons are "at front", same result.
Have tried to avoid corporate templates by creating a blank presentation and building a small and simple navigating presentation. Again, works fine as PPT show. And again, upon conversion there are no action buttons present in the pdf file.Corporate changes thereby should be ruled out.
Have checked all settings (including "Adobe PDF, Change Conversion Settings") between a working and a non-working PPT file, can't identify any differences.
A colleague helped out (using Acrobat 6), same result. But upon activation of "Adobe PDF, Change Conversion Settings, Restore Defaults", the action buttons worked for him. Tried it with Adobe 8, no such luck.
Have trialed the "Prep 4 PDF" tool, then the PDF file is complete and the "go to slide" keys appear and work again.
All new updates available are installed, anyone experienced the same and found a fix for this trouble?

Have tried both ways, same result.
When working with new presentations, the pdf file is viewable, but the action buttons are not present.
When working with past presentations, the action buttons are present and do work as expected.
