Additional screen!

I have just installed Lion and running smoothly but did come across a problem. I am currently my HD lcd tv as a monitor extension from my Macbook pro (13) via HDMI cable. The problem is dragging the video over to my tv then trying to (command+F) full screen the video, as then transfers the video full screen back on my laptop. How can i change this?
Ps. new to mac

Depends on the program. Some programs only support Fullscreen/Presentation mode on the primary display. If you Arrange the TV to be your primary (drag the blue menu bar) it should solve the problem.

You have the display set in Extended Desktop mode. The Menu Bar and Dock will be on the MacBook display and your background screen on the monitor. In System Preferences>Display on the MacBook screen there should be an Arrangement tab when you have the MacBook hooked up to the monitor and both screens working. When you click the Arrangement tab do you see two monitors side by side? One of them will have a Menu Bar at the top. Just click on the Menu Bar and drag it to the second monitor. That will make the second monitor your main screen. You can now use your MacBook in Clamshell Mode with a wired or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3131 When you disconnect from the monitor your Menu Bar will automatically change back to the MacBook.

Im looking to use my TV as an additional screen, can i use a mini dvi to HDMI, or must i get mini dvi to vga (i have the white macbook mid 2009 model)

You can use this type of adaptor from mini-dvi to hdmi

or you can use a mini-dvi to vga.
Check the specs of your model to see what reslolution it will be able to produce as an external display. I think it should get to 1920 x 1200, but check first.
Also, you will not get any audio through the mini-dvi port, so you will need to use a separate audio cable from the headphone outlet.

XD01 Customer data Additional Screen

Hi,
I have created a BADI implementation for XD01/02/03 to add custom screen with additional customer fields using BADI CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA and CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA_CS. Works well, customer master now has a new button that brings me to a screen I defined.
Now I have a requirement to only show this additional screen button for certain Sales Area and I cannot find a way to do it.
I can hide tabs on custom screen by Sales Organization, but activating whole button+screen functionality looks to only be possible before Sales Area data is known during IF_EX_CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA~CHECK_ADD_ON_ACTIVE
Is there something I am missing?

Have you checked the method 'SUPPRESS_TAXI_TABSTRIPS' for the BADI definition 'CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA_CS'? It looks like maybe you can use this to suppress the tabs based on your sales area requirement.

Insert customized input field in BP Organization addition screen(BUP110)

Hi experts,
Inside bp transaction when ever I am trying to add Organization, inside Name section(BUP010) one customized input field I want to add. What are all the procedure I need to follow in BUPT transaction to add new input fiels in the name section? How to map field group, view, section and screen? How to display that field on the name section of that Organization addition screen?

Hi,
SAP has provided screen modification. This you can do on "Additional data B" screen at both header and line iteam level.
Additional header data is on screen SAPMV45A 0309, additional item data on screen SAPMV45A 0459. These screens contain the Include screens SAPMV45A 8309 ( this is the screen exit at header ) or SAPMV45A 8459 ( this is the screen exit at item ) as user exits. There few more exits you will have to code to get this screen works. The are,
MV45AOZZ - PBO module of screen
MV45AIZZ - PAI module of screen
MV45ATZZ - Global data definition for user-exit.

X1 and an additional screen

Hi there,
I would like to use my X1 as primary screen and my additional 27" display as secondary. I bought the USB 2.0 port replicator, but I dont like it very much at all. It is lagging and not that functional as I would have liked, which is why I went back to HDMI.
I am as far as Win7 letting me use the external display with its max. resolution (1920x1080), but it seems that somehow win7 tries to emulate this resolution on my X1. If I move my mouse towards the task bar all my desktop items get moved as win7 somehow thinks there´s a bigger resolution to work with. See pictures below.

Creating additional screen field in Vendor Master at Company Code Level

Hi All,
I have to add some custom fields in Vendor master at Company Code Level.I have alraedy implemented a BAPI suggested by the system to add additional fields.
A new Button is coming after implementing the BAPI , which gives me a space to add new custom fields , which i have appended at LFA1.
My problem is that , the new Button is visible at each screen, i.e Button is coming at Address tab, Control tab, all screen correspond to company code and all tab correspond to purchasing.
While i want that Button should only be visible at screens correspond to company code.
Please suggest how to acheive the same.

I only want my custom button to appear if they've input a Company code on the selection screen. Did you find a way to solve this problem?

Additional screen to capture some data in VA41

Hello all,
Is there any way that when the user clicks save button after entering contract data a pop screen appears with two fields, asking user to enter two more fields data in th screen.As soon the user enters the data in the two fields and clicks ok on the button on the screen the data is transferred to table control screen that we have alreday created using user exit(SCREEN 8459) in the additional data tab B.
I tried to put code inside the same exit(SCREEN) which i m using for creating the table control in the additional data tab B but it never stops at the save event there......................what is happng if the user enters data on all screen and clicks SAVE without doing any action on additional data tab B ,data is saved and never stops at the break-point.But if i click on the additional data tab B and then SAVE ,the debugger stops at the code.
If the custom screen is not possible can we have some pop whle saving which will convey the user to add in additional data tab B.Any userexit triggerd on save of the contrcat data.

Is it not possible to call the POP UP function module in
USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE and after popup leave to screen 8459.
But this popup will be called always, you need to write a logic to handle the same

Msi cr630 only working on additional screen

Hi
I am new member to the forum,I had problem with the hinges and screen lid and changed these but after changing these screen of the laptop has gone blank though it does work on additional attached screen.
I have reset the laptop to its original factory settings ,have checked the video graphics cables number of times and then bought another one to replace but this all failed.
Any one who can help me in this regard.

** EDIT ** I just had a huge brain fart. Have you tried adjusting the "FingerLow" and "FingerHigh" options? Maybe its not picking up touches correctly.
I had the same happen to me after my recent re-install. Installing the xf86-input-synaptics package fixed it.

Mac Book with Additional Screen

I have mac book with external screen. I have attached cables to screen and have power. How do I get screen from mac book to show on larger screen?

I wonder if you are asking how to get any image on your external screen at all (rather than how to make it mirror your MB). You did not say what connection you are using (VGA, HDMI or DVI), not whether you get any response from your external screen, but the first place to go is to the Displays panel in System Preferences. There, you should be able to see that the external display is recognized and you can select its resolution and position it in relation to your PB screen (or set it to "mirror") if wanted.

Can we add one additional screen in standard transaction.

One requirement is to create screen after executing the standard transaction.
I have an UserExit to create from where i can use to write a code for the standard tramsaction ,
But How can i add one userdefined screen in SAP Stardard Transaction.
I am not talking about the subscreen / custom exit.
I want to create a small screen this would be itself a screen not imposed on any other screen.
Points will be rewarded for the help full answer.

Hi, Mike. It depend on the transaction, but a quick and easy way is to develop a function module which will throw a popup screen and call the function in your user exit.
