Additions to Notes Disappear

I've been noticing that when I update any of my notes and then go back to them later on they have reverted to the original note without any of the new additions I put in them. I have MobileMe but I do not have my notes checked to sync with it on any of my computers. In the settings on my phone I have the default account for notes selected to "On my iPhone". Any idea why I keep losing any changes I add to my notes?

This happened to me last night. I totally thought I was just shaking it and it was undoing whole paragraphs...
Today when I booted up my computer, two versions of the same note appeared in Mail. I found one that was consistent with what my iPod Touch currently has on it and one that was -YESSSS!- synced before it oddly decided to erase everything.
I happily deleted the newer version that was missing information And It Deleted Both Notes at the same time. W.T.F!
I pulled up Notes in my iPod Touch to see it still there. I clicked on it and it disappeared, synced into oblivion.
Undo does nothing in mail.
ARG.
Additionally, Mail has now erred to the point of no longer displaying the contents of the emails I clicked as well. Had to close and open the application again.
The way this new syncing thing "works" is irritating to begin with. I don't want my notes appearing in Mail with all my emails. What happened to them going into a dedicated section all by themselves (Reminders > Notes)?

Do you mean the language settings on the windows taskbar??
In Windows 7 you can set this option in the Control Center under
region and languages -->keboards and languages -->change keyboards --> language bar -->Show additional language bar in the taskbar

Icons in finder do not disappear when deleted

This is kind of hard to describe, but my finder's been acting really strange lately. Everytime i delete a file or folder in the finder the icon will not disappear completely, leaving some of the name of the file in the finder. This is really annoying, and it makes it look like the file is still there, even though it's been deleted.
If I just click one time on any of the icons, only the first line of the file's name will be selected, which makes it hard to read the file's name. Ive been searching the forums for an answer to this issue, but I still havent found anything.
Any ideas? thanks in advance

No so fast given how extreme that sort of action is. Try starting in "Safe mode" by restarting and holding down the Shift key…

Notes in Notes disappear

I use the Notes function in Mail a lot. For the last couple of days, however, when I add something to one of my notes, the addition stays there for a minute or two, but then when I check back, it has disappeared. The note is still there, with all the previous content, only my latest addition is gone. What's up?

I've had Notes disappear - and didn't realize what caused it until I read this post:
check under settings> mail contact calenders and see if notes are turned on in your email.. if so they are being pulled into your email by your email account extremely common problem with yahoo. if the notes are on then they are in an inbox folder in your email titled notes.. turn notes off in the email and it will not happen anymore
And another user suggests this:
Quit the notes app completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
See if that brings them back. If it doesn't. Backup the phone and restore the iPad from the phone backup. But that will restore all of the contents of the phone backup onto the iPad.
Of course, the best way to preserve your Notes is to back them on the Cloud. It's free.

Why my voice memos & notes disappear?

Suddenly to my horror today when I check my voice memos playlists most of my voice memos are gone from my iphone. I did not tweak around with my iphone or itunes. I backup my iphone regularly to my itunes PC and the voice memos are still in my itunes Library, but they are not in my iphone anymore. What's going on? And how do I transfer back the voice memos from my PC to my iphone?
My ipad is also experiencing notes disappearing by itself in the couple of months, which I've never had a problem after years of using it. But I have a Notes Folder in my email account which still have the lost notes. I can't figure out why. Please help

Dock icons will not disappear when I drag them to desktop or trash

On my MacBook Pro, when I drag an icon from the dock to the desktop or to trash, it bounces back to where it was on the dock. I tried to move Applescript Editor, AppleWorks 6, Keychain Access, Activity Monitor, Quick Time Player and several more icons and they all did the same. Each icon that will not disappear, has a blue dot reflection underneath it.
I moved one of the icons without a blue reflection to the desk top and it did go up in smoke, but as soon as i replaced that icon from finder back to the dock, it also had a blue reflection under it and I could not make it disappear again.
If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. Thank you so much,

You're only supposed to drag icons out of the Dock if you want to remove them from it; running applications won't disappear immediately but may do so when quit.
If you're trying to put icons on the desktop, find the items in the Finder and drag them there with the Option and Command keys held down.

Problem with Delivery due list VL10b for STO's - Orders not disappearing

We have a problem where some 'Stock Transfer orders' are not disappearing from the delivery due list VL10b
Collective processing of documents due for delivery - Purchase orders
hence we have had two deliveries created for one STO order, which in turn has been goods receipted
Any ideas on what the cause of this problem could be ?
The quantities have not been changed on the STO
Please help

PDF does not contain columns, rows, formats, styles, or other aspects of word processing or spreadsheet file formats.
This is because PDF is decidedly not a word processing or spreadsheet file format or something "like" one of those.
(see ISO 32000 for what PDF "is")
What can optimize the export of PDF page content is to start with a well-formed tagged PDF (ISO 14289-1, PDF/UA-1 compliant).
Without that export is what it is and one performs whatever content cleanup is needed using the native application for the export file (MS Word or Excel).

Approved Task items are not disappearing from uwl task list

we have implemended Guided procedures with universal work list. For most of the users, once the any task items are approved, it suppose to disappear from the task list. But it is not disappearing from the task list. Even if i click on "refresh" under flter option. Please let me now how to get rid of this issue.

"1F" will not disappear.....

I have what appears to be a "notification" from the facebook app that will not disappear....I constantly have the "1F" symbol on my screen....I have accessed my facebook account both via the facebook BB application and the browser to insure that nothing is marked new or left unread....and yet the indicator remains....Even pulling the battery and restarting did not reset it....any clues?
Is this a problem with the latest version of the FB app? (I am using ver 1.7.0.18)

Has anyone had a note disappear suddenly?

I have been keeping a lot of information in Notes that I used to keep in a paper Daytimer. I thought it was great, it synced through iCloud from my iPhone to my iPad and vice versa and I could print it if there was a reason to. So today I was recording some important information on a note that I've been keeping this data on for about six months. Suddenly, when I tapped on the screen to put the curser in a different place, the whole note disappeared. It didn't ask if I wanted to Delete like it does when you delete something on purpose. It just vanished. So I went to the list of notes and it was not there. I quickly went and got my iPad. Luckily, I thought, at least the older information was still listed on the iPad. Then, right as I was about to send it to myself to have a copy on my computer, the iPad version of the note disappeared. They are both just GONE. I can't imagine what happened and now I feel totally insecure about keeping any information in notes. Has anyone else had this happen? What are your suggestions about 1) is there any possible way to retrieve that information? and 2) what should I use instead of Notes that would be more secure? Or should I keep using it and send copies of anything important to the computer to put into a Word document so Time Machine will back it up?

No, can't say I have.
Could very well well be an image format issue, or a corrupted file. What platform is the source from (iOS, Android?). And what does "not being able to open" mean exactly?
You might also try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

I see that there are people that have the problem suddenly almeer notes disappear this is with me also happened and now comes the: If I put a backup that I have my back than notes for 30 seconds back and THEN THEY DISAPPEAR again!

So you have business contacts that were lost... do you not have these on a Database in some shape or form? Sounds like you need to invest in a RAID1 backup setup for your computer so you dont have this issue in the future.
As for repairing your problem, sounds like you are going to need to start from scratch at this point or if the data is still on your phone look into a program that can take the information from the phone onto iTunes.
