ADDM Detail help...

Hello Guys,
Where can I found the detail help of ADDM in Enterprise Manager 10gR2?
I have seen many documentation but could not find it in details like:
How to set the interval time?
How to find queries that are taking time, like order by execution time?
How to find out summary of quesries run other then system queries?
And other details.

Read from Text File Detailed Help need Clean-up

This is probably well known and nobody has bothered fixing it but the detailed Help of the "Read from Text File" function is sort of ambiguous:
- statement 1: refnum out is the refnum of the file that the function read. You can wire this output to another file function, depending on what you want to do with the file. The default is to close the file if it is referenced by a file path or selected from the file dialog box. If file is a refnum or if you wire refnum out to another function, LabVIEW assumes that the file is still in use until you close it.
- statement 2: If you wire a path to file, the function opens the file before reading from it and closes it afterwards.
I have found statement 1 to be correct, which makes statement 2 incomplete (and sort of tautological in the sense that 1) you expect LabVIEW to open the file before reading from it if you provide a path instead of a refnum... and 2) if you use a path input to file AND use the refnum out for some other function, the file is NOT closed, as correctly stated in statement 1).

It deeply concerns me that you would take my response to mean indifference. I certainly had no intention to belittle what you had to say. On the contrary, I took this up with the concerned team, and had a small discussion. If you say that what someone says on this forum is of lesser or no value to National Instruments, you could not be more wrong. It defeats the whole purpose of this public forum.
My point was not that it is not an issue, it certainly seems to be. Please be rest assured that even if it does not look like it from the outside, each comment however big or small is taken back to our workplaces and some thoughts poured over it.
On the whole, I recognise that I had a role to play in this misunderstanding of tone, and I sincerely apologise.

Example is not opened from detailed help window

I tried to open an example related the "Case Structure" in the "Detailed Help" window but it didn't work (I clicked on the "Open example" in the "Detailed Help" window. Of course I could open the examples database under "Help" but it will take time to find a specific example. Thanks.

Have you checked the list of services? This question has been asked before. When LabVIEW gets installed there's like a thousand services that also get installed. I don't recall which service is needed in order to open the examples. Most start with "National Instruments". In earlier versions it was the NI Service Locator that was needed. Another thing to check is to see if the service are being blocked by your firewall. That's another common reason.

I can't get Context Sensitive Help or Detailed Help on LabVIEW Front Panel Controls. Why doesn't this work in LabVIEW?

Battery Woes: Detailed Help Desired

So you've all head of this problem before. My MacBook battery isn't working. The details of the problem are this: my MagSafe Power Adapter broke this August (the wires frayed right at the magnetic connection the computer) and so my battery ran dry. I was out of the country for four months so I didn't replace the cord until recently. It's great to be back on my Mac, but unfortunately the battery isn't charging. It's not even recognized that it exists. There is a black "X" up in the charge meter, the kind that normally appears when your battery isn't connected to the computer. It's aggravating because I just replaced the MagSafe adapter.
To fix it, I tried pressing and holding the button on the battery for a few seconds. I also tried pressing and holding the main power button of the computer (the one just to the upper right above the keyboard) when the battery and MagSafe adapter were both disconnected. I read on the Apple site that doing this sometimes helps. But nothing worked. I do have the battery update (1.2, I think it is?) and Mac OS-X update that the website suggested in the help section. I haven't updated my software since August, though, so I'll try that and see if it helps. I kind of doubt that it will, though, considering that I have the suggested update and newer updates seem to have only caused trouble if what I read on these help-boards is accurate. I will update my software tomorrow, though (I will finally have internet access back) so I'll update my problem here on this message board once I try that.
What I really want to know, though, is if there's:
A) anything else I can do to try and fix the battery
or
B) if I've killed my battery and I need to buy a new one. I don't want to but I will if needed...I just want to be sure there is absolutely nothing I can do to fix the battery. I've had the MacBook for over a year and I have no applicable AppleCare plan or anything.
or
C) if contacting AppleCare and paying them to fix it/replace it is worth the trouble.
Please help or offer advice if you can. I know there are a plethora of topics on this problem but I've tried all the advice offered there and would appreciate some specific detailed help for my situation if it can be offered.

When you update your Mac to 10.4.11 the wrong battery update may be installed it may be 1.3. If it does you will need to remove it and put 1.2 back on.
You may be able to get a warranty replacement of the battery. The core duo batteries warranty has been extended and extra year. It doesn't matter if you have AppleCare or not as this is separate from that.
It sounds like your battery is dead. When the cells drop to a low enough voltage they may not recover to usable voltage. Since your battery was discharged for a long time when you were out of the country this probably happened. Your best bet is trying to get a battery replacement under the extended warranty plan. When you call Apple just explain to them you can't see how many cycles are there since your battery is not recognized. The phone number to call is in this link, battery update. Detailed help not active

I try to use "show contex help" from Help. I can not make "detailed Help" in "context help" window active, that is, when I click "detailed help", there is nothing happening.
I even reinstall labview 8.6, it is still like that.
Please advice how to resolve this problem?

It would be the fix if your computer is blocking the chm file that the detailed help is loaded on. It seems like your computer is blocking the help one way or another, wheteher it be anti-virus or this problem.

Media presentation with details help.

Hi there I am currently implementing a simple media presentation with details and I struggle to do 2 things:
1. Buffer all videos so that after they load once they play from the memory not depending on a "let's say" faulty internet connection.
2. The most important thing that I was unable to figure out is how to make the chapter details play like 15 seconds after the video ends. I mean when de video ends the chapter pauses and displays the chapter details for 15 seconds.
Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you very much.

Music that you purchased is always available from iTunes Cloud (not iCloud), if you wish to extend that to music you uploaded to your iTunes library then you would use iTunes Match (limit 25,000 songs). Match is $25 per year.

You have master - detail relationship here. So unless you click on second employee it won't show you salary for second employee.
You can create a control block and capture values in this block through cursor. You can also create a view and get values from view. In both cases you need only one block not two.
Are you showing this only for display or user can also modify these values?

Master Detail Help -- very urgent

There are two things I need to do:
Auto query the form querying on a detail record week_ending and also on a master record.
Means this is what query should like :
select * from user_table a, week_ending_table b
where
a.id = b.user_id
and
a.user_id = portal30.wwctx_api.get_user
and
b.week_ending = '02-MAR-89';
So when I query this is the query I would like to see but not when i click query button, I want to see it when i bring query up.

I have written what I needed to in reply to the other question, but just thought if something.
I want week ending hardcoded like 99-MAR- 02. In Method 1 , where do I put that? You have used variable l_week_ending but never defined what it is. One thing is I am not really querying on detail, I just want week ending to always be a certain date...

Master Detail - Help me

I'm trying to wrting to the nested node in the context but I can't.
I have the following context:

pai (1..n) singleton
filho(1..n) singleton
I'm tryng to do a master/detail application.
The node pai is bound to a table in my view, the node filho is bound to another. My objective is to show the detail (node filho) correct to each line in table master.
I can write to node pai, it works. I wrote to the node filho too, but when I debug, only one element of node child is filled.
If someone could help me, I would be thankfull.

I read the article.
So, If I set the node "filho" as singleton I can't fill this node with elements for all elements of node "pai".
The elements will be lost. It is that I don't understand, if the elements will be lost, there are no reason to use singleton, I can't imagine when I could use this option.
If I want to fill all the context in one time, I have to set the node as non-singleton.
Is all that I said correct?

Can't fix wamp 404 LocalHost problem, have all details, help please!

I've got both Apache services running with my XP WAMP setup (with Wordpress installed in C:\wordpress). The WAMP icon turns to green when I click on start WampServer. If I click on the Localhost option, I get the 'It works!' response every time, no problem.
When I click on phpMyAdmin option, however, I always get the dreaded '404 Not Found' error message. My efforts via YouTube videos regarding this problem helped me get rid of the hash tag in the 'mod_rewrite' line of the htpd.conf file. I can't seem to get any further via the YouTube videos. Hate to be a haunt, but can anyone help me with this one? WAMP is installed in my C:\wamp folder, if that's helpful.

Your code looks fine. Unless you actually made a typo in the URL I can't explain this problem. To verify this I even copied your web.xml and the SimpleServlet without any changes to my playground environment and it ran just flawlessly at http://localhost:8080/playground/servlets/HelloWorld
To exclude things, have you tried another applicationserver (Tomcat 6? Glassfish? Jetty?) or maybe another OS?

EJB - Master Detailing Help.

I am new to EJB & to JDeveloper.
I am tring to use EJB to display table information where one table is the master and second table displays the info according to the master.
Here is what I have done so far:
I created EJB Diagram using drag & drop method from connection, then I created EJB Entity Facade Objects, just like ADF, it created view & link.
In pageflow, I created uix page to display the results. But the problem is that when I use master detail (one to many, etc), and run the page, I get full information from both tables rather than record by record like ADF does.

Master Detail Help

I have a master/detail page that also has a built in
inPlaceEditor in the detail part. When the user updates the detail,
I need the master list to update with the information (this part

This is really a SQL query, not much to do with Forms.
Something like this.
SELECT ....
FROM <DETAIL_TABLE>
WHERE <DETAIL_TABLE>.<DATE_COLUMN> = (SELECT MAX(<DETAIL_TABLE>.<DATE_COLUMN>) FROM <DETAIL_TABLE>
WHERE <DETAIL_TABLE>.<FK_COLUMN> = 'AA' )
.....BTW, DATE is a reserved word and cannot be a column_name.
The equivalent of the WHERE Clause above is what you need to put into the detail block.
For any better response, you should post the actual query with actual table/column names.

Master Detail Help! Please

I have a Mater detail form. When I enter a record and then press CREATE. The record disappears. Is there a way to insert the record and then query back from the DB so that the detail can be added?

Found my problem after three days. It was the Process Row of MASTER process. I did not have the Return Key into Item field filled in.

Hoping for detailed help w/ Podcast/Zen Micro/ Windows Media 10.

Can someone please outline what steps are necessary for someone with a 5gig Zen Micro & Windows Media 0 to download (specifically) and eventually listen to podcasts on my Zen Micro.
I'm hoping for something like; You need these 3 things.....first you....second you....finally.... (hopefully there are only that many steps!)
If it is already on the board, just a cut and paste response is great....or a link to the conversation.

Windows Media Player 0 help files are very well done, and perhaps your answer is in there...
But as for folder creation: WMP0 arranges your music as Artist\Album\Song.mp3, doesn't matter how you have it structured on your computer, WMP0 will arrange it like that. If you use Windows Explorer then it will keep the same arrangement as your computer, like you already know.
Despite this arrangement, if you still want WMP0 to make folders on your player then:
Connect the Micro
Open up WMP0
Click on Tools-> Options
Click on Devices tab
Select your player and click Properties
Under the Synchronization tab check the box for <i>Create folder hierarchy on device</i>
As for playlist creation, WMP0 will only transfer playlists using the Auto-sync options. If you select which songs to transfer over then it will not transfer that playlist, just the songs inside it. To make a playlist you will have to use Zen Media Explorer, or whatever program that supports it like Media Source, or even make them manually on the player itself.
