Addons Engine 3.0.1 reinstalls itself everytime I reboot

This appeared about 4 weeks ago and I can't get rid of it. I have to remove it every time I reboot my computer because it always comes back. It messes with Google and re-directs links to other sites. It also messes with other web pages making them illegible.
I logged a Support call with Avast and they told me to use AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes to get rid of it. Both have failed to do so. I also read that this Add-On is now on Mozilla's Block List yet as far as I can tell there's no fix for it.
I'm sick and tired of this problem and am hoping there is a fix in the pipeline, or at least someone could advise an alternative solution to what's been proposed so far.

The Add-On was still there after I rebooted but wasn't messing with Google anymore. I removed it from Firefox and then rebooted and "voila" it didn't re-install itself! This call can be closed unless anyone thinks I need to do something more.

I've had my 16 GB 4G Nano since January, and only in the last 4 weeks or so it has been rebooting itself everytime I connect or disconnect it from 2 docking ports:
the LG LDF750 micro home stereo & the Sony ICF-C1IPMK2 Speaker System and Clock Radio
The Nano would reboot itself to the black screen with the Apple logo, and I would lose my menu settings. I don't know if it's caused by static, or a software upgrade from iTunes, and I don't know if there's any long-term damage. I never had this problem before when I had a 6G Classic. I did a firmware restore about 6 times, and that did not solve the problem.

After almost 2 months of the constant rebooting, I finally took the Nano back to the Apple store a few days ago, as it was still under warranty. The clerk ran a diagnostic software on it, and found out that it wasn't holding its charge. He said it may or may not have anything to do with the iPod rebooting, but it was serious enough that it warranted a replacement. I ended up getting it exchanged; so far the new replacement iPod is working beautifully with my dock connectors.

Please help me solve the following problem:
Every time I click on the icon of an Internet messenger(Korean) from the start menu, iTunes automatically reinstalls itself!
So all the changes I've made to change the language from Korean to English version(by renaming the language files in the 'iTunes.Resources' and 'iTunesHelper.Resources' folder) is blown off, and I have to do the whole process again and again once iTunes is installed.
This is really bugging me as you can imagine..
Can anyone help me, please??
I want to use my iTunes in English not in Korean.
I'm very frustrated that iTunes automatically changes itself(as far as the language is concerned) every time I click on this messenger icon. Funny thing is, it only happens with this particular messenger icon!

Well, I've tried clicking directly on the NateOn icon from the program files, but it didn't work. Somehow it still gets iTunes to automatically reinstall itself.
I've also tried deleting all the Korean language files in the iTunes program files, but once I click on that messenger icon, it goes back to the very beginning.
Things could be just simple if I could stop using the NateOn, but it really is a good messenger (even far better than MSN) so I couldn't...
I've also tried contacting the NateOn service team, but no replies yet-since last six days...
I hope I don't have to choose between these two programs in the end, 'coz both are great.
p.s. I've also tried creating a new NateOn desktop shortcut, and it still reinstalls iTunes.. I'm going crazy...

Try the following to rule out a software problem:

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

My browser toolbar keeps defaulting to Ask instead of Google. Have deleted it, moved it and everytime I reboot there it is. How can I remove or set Google as default?

I am running Win7. On my screen, there is a field that lists the browsers available. The default seems to be Ask with the others listed, about 5. There is a button to move them according to preference so I move Google up to the top. Then there is also a button to Remove the ones I don't want to use. My Mail app opens unprompted everytime i reboot or awake my macbook pro from sleep. This was not an issue until i shut down my laptop for the first time in a while 2 days ago. ANy ideas how to stop this?

When you jar or drop a hard drive when it's operating the heads strike the platters and ruin sectors and the data on them.
Your getting the spinning wheel because the OS has been damaged and/or quite possibly the drive.
You'll first have to determine if it's a hardware issue
Do #3 Hardware Test and #5 Disk Utlity Repair Disk/Permissions here (check the SMART status)

If the drive is fine and you don't have a recent copy of your data off the machine then also do this
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive

My HP 4215 All-in-one reinstalls itself every time I turn on my computer.

When I turn on my computer, my HP 4215 All-In-One re-installs itself. It doesn't do it when starting the computer from hibernate mode. My computer is an e-Machine notebook, system is Windows XP. This re-installation has been occurring since I installed a tax prep program, TaxCut, last year. I have uninstalled the tax software. Also, I have uninstalled the HP4215 and re-installed it. WOW! I had tried to uninstall my HP C4795 Printer and the progam somehow got corrupted.
SO, I took the installation disk and tried to re-install the drivers, and it never gave me that option.
I therefore had no other choice but to MANUALLY DELETE the files and folders AND, this took a couple of hours, being CAREFUL to DELETE ANY/ALL registry entries under HP. I have a DVD BURNER that is HP, so I had to be extra careful about this.
Upon completion, I could then re-install my printer drivers all over again.
The first re-install was an error because I didn't unplug the USB cable...duh.
SO, I had to uninstall again.
The second time I re-installed the printer drivers and software, for some strange reason I had been
getting the SAME PROBLEM as in the SUBJECT ABOVE.
I followed your instructions AFTER it had to locate the drivers again.
While leaving the printer ON, I then proceeded with your remedy...
Follow these steps and see if it resolves the issue:
1. Click on the start menu and click on 'Run', and then type 'services.msc' and press the Enter button.
2. In the Services window, look for HP CUE Device Discovery Service, and double click on it.
3. You should see a button labelled 'STOP'. click on that button.
4. Above this, you should find something which says 'Startup Type'. Change that to 'Disabled'
5. Click on the 'Apply' button and close all windows.

You can check the target line in the Firefox desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties) to make sure that nothing is appended after the path to the Firefox program.
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.

If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

Help! PC somehow shut down itself everytime i play game for a while.

I just upgraded my pc yerterday and i've got this super annoying problem. I just upgraded to MSI P67A-GD65 + MSI N560 gtx TI Twin Frozr2 OC, intel I7 2600k, 16 gig of ram and 3 hd with total of 2.5 TB storage. I have this psu called AmacRoX SPEED POWER AX650-S it serves me well for more than a year before i upgraded my pc yesterday.
So i have this problem, whenever i play a game in full screen, somehow a minute or two later my pc just died for no reason, and it start itself a couple seconds later. I've tried finding a solution on the net for a day and nothing works. I've tried not using newest driver, I've tried turning off that auto restart feature on the start up & recovery option thing but it still won't give me a blue screen. I don't know what else to do.

To check your PSU look at the labeling/sticker on it. It will have the complete set of stats there and there should be a line that says 12v check those to make sure that it gets at least 30amps on the 12v rail.
If it doesn't say 30a or more under the 12v then the PSU has been your issue the whole time. Also, don't simply buy a "more powerful" one. Get a more reliable, a tested, a known brand. One that is known to be decent. I Suggest a Corsair TX650v2 or higher.
Moving from 450w to 1000w won't cure your problem, it needs to have the amount of amps on the 12v rail which is requested by all the components of your system. If it doesn't have enough power to support your rig under strain, it will shut off to protect your investment. You're lucky you didn't buy too cheaply and make a bomb out of your PC instead.
I don't understand why people skimp out on the Heart of their rigs. The Power Supply is what pumps the much needed blood (electricity) to your organs (PC components). Without the proper amount, it doesn't work.
