Address Book Changes Main Account Name . . .

Hello,
Lately I have been noticing a very strange behavior in Address Book/iChat/Mail (they all reflect the problem once it happens).
I have my first name as "XYZ" (for example), and my last name is left blank. Then, out of nowhere, it fills in the first letter of my last name, and correctly too!
Where is this coming from?
Could it be autofill from Safari? Or something in Mail?
This also then appears in my iChat handle (which is clearly linked to the Address Book, because when I go into the Address Book and delete this letter from the last name field it disappears from iChat instantly as well).
Anybody?

I discovered that it is coming from Apple Mail. When you have your name in Apple Mail in the "Previous Recipients" it somehow gets grabbed and transfered from there. When you remove it from the "Previous Recipients" and then set your Address Book how you like your name to be, it sticks!

Sync Mac Address Book - multiple Google accounts

I hope this is the right place for this question.
I understand that you can sync the Mac Address Book with Google accounts, but is there a way to sync that Mac Address Book with MULTIPLE Google accounts.
Our scenario is that we have one iMac as our main database, and want to sync it to mine, and my wifes Google account.

When I setup my new Mac, I created the same account name as my old Mac. This is creating problems during my migration. How do I change the main account name?

No need for response. I was able to solve this through some trial and error.

To get GAL of non default address book from multiple accounts in outlook

There are 2 address books (Please refer to the picture attached). I want to show user to SelectNameDialog by adding the recipients from non-default account's address book. But it adds the names to the selectnamedialog from the default address book and displays.

To change your iCloud ID, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.
To change the ID on your Mac, go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, choose Delete for all the prompts (your data will still be in iCloud), then sign back in with the changed ID.

As said nikitha2009 saju , Syed Zia Abbas , Dëv Päträ , GL Text stored under chart of Account level. in case you are in EHP 7 than you have option to Enter text in Time dependent interval, here you can enter text with validity start of the date. system will show you new text in its new validity period and no effect on previous data.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
When you log out of the joint account, you should be asked if you want to keep the contacts, you do. When you log into your new account you should be asked if you want to merge contacts, you do.
If you have already signed into your new account and not taken these options, the simplest thing to do might be to add your wife's account back as a secondary account in system preferences > mail, contacts & calendars. In groups in address book you can drag contacts from your wife's contacts onto your contact group to copy them.

Then you may have to try manually resetting the syncservices folder by following Julian Write's post (from https://discussions.apple.com/message/9274781#9274781):

Although it's not advised to do so in normal circumstances, you'll need to manually delete the SyncServices folder.
Before doing so, you MUST make a backup of both your Contacts and Calendars:
In Address Book, choose *Export > Address Book Archive...* from the File menu.
In iCal, choose *Back up iCal...* from the File menu.
Then, make a backup of the SyncServices folder located at:
~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices
By backing everything up first, you don't risk losing anything.
Finally delete the aforementioned SyncServices folder and restart the Mac. This will force Mac OS X to recreate the SyncServices folder, and hopefully fix your problem.
I believe in Snow Leopard you can back up your calendar in File>Export>iCal Archive rather than File>Back up iCal as posted above.

i tried to change my account name. however after i changed it .. i still could see the old name in the finder.. but when i log on i see the new account name.. how can i fix this

Changed user account name and moved to OSX Yosemite. Apps still work, but cannot download new apps or updates.

I recently moved to a new MacBook Air with a physically larger hard drive. I had a coworker move over all of my software and data, and everything seems to be playing nicely. All of the current apps I have in place like Photoshop and Illustrator are working just fine.
Unfortunately when I try to download other apps in Creative Cloud it just shows Download Error. I tried reinstalling Creative Cloud, which did nothing.
I should note that when I moved to the larger machine I changed user account names. Whenever I try to use FileSync, it says it is looking for a folder in the old user account folder. This occurs even after trying to change where that folder is in the Preferences.
Additionally I have updated from Mavericks to Yosemite. I do not know what effect that had.
Any insight how to restore my ability to get downloads and updates? Or perhaps how to fix my FileSync?

Can we change customer account name once a quote has been created ? Currently the customer account number becomes read only when the quote header has been created. This is true for both Forms Quoting and HTML Quoting.

Presently the feature of changing customer name for Quote is not supported.
