Address book has same entries multiple times how can I go back to original cesium

After a couple of days, I'm noticing that the repeat(ing) offenders have more than 10 episodes, and seem to keep repeating them every time I sync.
They only show once in my phone and in the iTunes Podcasts, but through iTunes and looking at what's in my phone is when I see the repeats.
Even after I've marked a podcast as played, and deleted it from within my phone, as well as telling iTunes to delete the played episodes, it still shows multiples of the played episodes.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it either. They aren't the newest ones either.

Ever since iCloud went live, I cannot add any spouse, child etc... info to the address book. Anyone have an idea how to get this back. I tried to reset the template, looks like it has been removed. I also de-selected the iCloud and selected on my local Mac in the accounts area in preferences. Still no luck. My address book entries prior to iCloud still have all the data and I'm able to modifiy if desired. Any ideas??

I copied this from an extremely knowledgable iTunes for Windows user in another discussion. Maybe this will help.
In Windows, you can restore much of the look & feel of iTunes 10.7 with these shortcuts:
ALT to temporarily display the menu bar
CTRL+B to show or hide the menu bar
CTRL+S to show or hide the sidebar
CTRL+/ to show or hide the status bar (won't hide for me on Win XP)
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the old search behaviour
Use View > Hide <Media Kind> in the cloud or Edit (iTunes) > Preferences > Store anduntick Show iTunes in the cloud purchases to hide the cloud items. The second method eliminates the cloud status column (and may let iTunes start up more quickly)
If you don't like having different coloured background & text in the Album (Grid) view use Edit(iTunes) > Preferences > General and untick Use custom colours for open albums, movies, etc.
With iTunes 11.0.3 you can enable artwork in the Songs and playlist views from View > Show View Options (CTRL+J) making it more like the old Album List view.
If you are a Mac user, all you have to do is start navigating through the menu items at the top of the screen to find just about everything that is mentioned here.

The first thing you should do is have your friend log out of your account and change your password.
Do you have a back up from when you had the contacts on your phone.

Try resetting the phone with the home and power buttons held in until the Apple logo appears, then turn location services on (or off and back on if it is already on).

Address book has hundreds of empty groups - how to delete?

I'm not sure how this happened, but in my Address Book on Lion, I wound up with dozens (probably hundreds) of empty groups, all of them called "card". I want to delete all of these. However, I cannot even delete one: when I click on one and press "delete", I get the "pinwheel" and am forced to kill Address Book. Anyone know what the problem might be, or how I could go about deleting all of these groups? Is there a Preferences file I can edit?

I had never bothered to look at the Address Panel (never had a use for it) and now I see that it is keeping all the stale addresses that I repeatedly delete out of Previous Recipients! These addresses are NOT in my Contacts app! Come on, Apple—this is ridiculous.

In Firefox 4, back button only goes back 1 page at a time. how can i go back further with one click?

in Firefox 3.6.10, i could click an arrow next to the back button for a drop down menu of previously visited pages. in Firefox 4, i can only go back one page at a time. has it been removed in the new version or am i just overlooking it?
in case you've taken it out, would you consider replacing it? sometime a page won't let you go back no matter how many times you hit the back arrow.

You can get the drop down list by either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.
If you want the drop-down arrow you can add it with the Back/forward dropmarker add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker

Published Calendar has same event multiple times

Hi, I have created a calendar group with four sub groups on iCal. On iCal, each event shows up only one time. However, when I published the calendar and went to check on it...each event is on each date a min of 3x, up to 15x...
what's up? how do I fix this????

I am Tiger 10.4.2 iCal 2.0.2 and having the same problems. I haven't found a way to prove this, but I think iCal publishing is only smart enough to deal with 1 Mac. My problem started when I turned on .Mac syncing for iCal. My .Mac account is syncing my three macs (1 home, 1 powerbook, 1 powermac at work) and guess what? My appointments show up THREE times.
Does anyone know if Apple is looking into this unexpected side effect from .Mac syncing published calendars? If not, I will give them a call on the phone to escallate this. I am guessing that there are multiple scenerios that make .Mac get confused and essentially treat a duplicate as if it was unique.

Somehow I have two sign-in email addresses for the same iTunes account. How can I fix?

I believe it started with Mobile me, but not sure. I have apps that I've downloaded using an old sign-in email address and apps that I've downloaded (to the same Mac) using the newer sign-in email. I can access iTunes with the newer address. But I often get prompted to input my old sign-in email address (and old password) when upgrading certain apps. It's very annoying. And now I've moved all my files to a new computer and it won't allow my apps from the old sing-in to sync without authorizing the computer first (which it already is, but isn't recognizing as much with the old email address...).

I suspect what you have ended up with is two AppleIDs/accounts. You cannot merge content. Decide which one you want to use and use that one for future purchases. For previous purchases you will have to make sure the other one is kept updated in terms of contact information and you will have to use it to access its content.

Itunes keep saying shuffle is corrupted and has restored it multiple times. i can't get itunes to stop restoring my shuffle

has anyone else had this problem? i cant get to any other screen in itunes other than "restore this ipod shuffle" in itunes.

You can only sync to one computer.
You would have to transfer purchases, but the apple ID would need to be the same.
Or find a 3rd party app to transfer content.

I don't see how you can say it's "better in every way". Just look at the amount of complaints about crashes, hanging, etc. I've never had a problem with FF until this version, and now not only does it hang/freeze when I wake my MacBook up from sleep mode, but randomly it will just hang as I'm trying to load a page. It is NOT faster (I have BT Infinity so my speed is as good as you can get around here, and my MacBook Pro is less than a year old with all OS updates), and it is incredibly disturbing and time-wasting when I'm trying to do work from home and constantly having to force-quit FF every half hour or so. It sometimes takes 10 minutes to load a page, if it loads at all!
I say all this not to whine, but because I LOVE FF and want this to work... it's just not. And while I see lots of people complaining about the hanging issue, I don't see any responses except for "tell us the specifics of your issue". Which we have done.
