Address data not gettting repaired with HRALXSYNC in HR system

Hi All
While checking the consistency of HR Master data and BP data for an employee using HRALXSYNC , it was found that Addresss data is in red traffic light . We did repair it and it changed to Green traffic light .But when you run the report HRALXSYNC again for the same employee we find the same inconsistency with address in Red traffic light.
I am new to SAP HCM . Any help or suggestion is highly appreciated !

I already have three address books created for me by Thunderbird. I add all new addresses to one of those but am afraid to delete the other address books because some of their addresses are not repeated in my "main" address book. So if I don't delete all the names in one of the existing books, I need to create an empty book that will not mix the addresses with those in another address book. HOW DO I CREATE A NEW, EMPTY ADDRESS BOOK? I want to be able to create various mailing LISTS using the addresses in this new book so I will eventually have a special address book with a variety of mailing lists I can use as I wish.

In 24.4.0 there is no File|New|Address Book. There is File|New|Address Book Contact. How do I create a new address book ?

Contact Person address Data not found

Hi All,
I am finding an strange error in Partner determination process for Contact Person.
System is able to pick the contact person, but it always says no address data found for contact person. I had checked all config in partner dtermination procedure and can see that all setting related to address detremination is available. But still i am not able to get this data in my transaction for activity/lead or contract.
Please suggest.

This is a common mistake when processing Contact Persons. In fact, the address data you see in the WebUI for your contact person is the address of the Company - Contact Person relationship and not the contact data of the contact person itself. The error message is probably referring to the address data of the person itself.
Eg I work for my company, my address data as a contact person for my company will the the company's address, fax, e-mail, ... Beside that I also have my personal address, where I actually live with a private e-mail and so on.
My company -_-_-_ has the contact person -
> Me
Address data (=address data eq to comp) My personal address

HR: Address data not updated in ALE inbound

EBP 5.0, HR R/3 4.7
In HR system Main addresses are not maintainted. So we create standard partner and in table T77S0 in field HRALX OADBP we maintain its address (with leading zeroes) and in HRALX OADRE we set flag.
When we replicate org strucutre from HR no address for new BPS are created.
Any hint?

I have replicated org structure from one EBP client to another EBP.
Don't know whether it will help you.
But for attribute transport I used message type HRMD_B
after maintaining the disctribution model correctly as guide says.
The addresses and attributes were correctly seen in new cliet.

Session data not carried over. with IE6SP1 and WL7

Hi,
We recently upgraded our clustered WL to WL7x and after that we started seeing
a strange problem regarding session data of our HTML/Servlet pages.
When we access the pages through this cluster, the session data(browser cookies
not accepted) is not carried forward in IE6 SP1. With IE5x it works fine. The
Local Intranet is always coming as blocked for the cookies. I am not able to reset
the settings also.
The same set of programs are working fine with server running WL5x.
Is it anything due to P3P or is there any setting I should do at WL7 level for
this problem? When I do the URL rewriting this works fine but, as many are static
HTMLs submitting servlet request, we are not able to do URL rewriting.
Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

It doesn't seem to be a problem with serializable attributes though.
Also Weblogic doesn't use the distributable tag. So that should
not matter too.
Can you investigate further and try to pinpoint the issue?

Also your web application has to have parameter "distributable" set ontrue
in "web.xml" configuration file.

My address book not in sync with iPhone over mobileme

My address book on my laptop and desktop is not in sync with the one on my iPhone, even when using mobileme. Any recommendations on how to fix this?

Similar story here. My iphone's address book has no phone numbers but they're all on my mac. I have tried to synch over mobileme and USB but to no avail.
I have recently upgraded to snow leopard from tiger but can't say for definite that this is part of the problem.

Data not getting bind with cursor

Database: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.6.0 - 64bit
OS: Windows Server 2003
Consider following procedure:
Proc P1() as

Problem: In most of the execution, the value 'X' passed in cursor c get bind with col3 in where clause and get the desired result. However, in some cases, the value 'X' does not get bind with col3 in where clause. I don't know the steps to re-produce the issue, but it occurs once in a while.
On querying v$sql_bind_capture, i get 'NULL' in value_string whenever this problem occurs. Otherwise, I get 'X' in v$sql_bind_capture. No exception is thrown anytime.
What may cause miss of binding constant literal 'X' to cursor?

Have not seen this error before - PL/SQL not binding SQL statements containing PL/SQL variables, correctly. What at times happen is no bind at all due to name collision. Using the same name for a PL/SQL variable as a SQL column in the SQL statement and scope being such that with name resolution, the SQL column gets preference. This of course does not seem to be the case here.
What could be happening is that a null variable is being passed as the bind value.
You can also have a look at the Metalink/support.oracle.com for any notes or bugs on this behaviour. Knee-jerk reaction from my side that this is too a common issue to be an actual PL/SQL bug... (would have reared its head a long time ago)
In cases like this I like to make sanity checks - reduce the problem to its bare basics with a test case and see if that works. Then gradually increase its complexity and see when it brakes, if at all.

Apple Fax: Address Book not up front with Microsoft Word 2004

Is there a known bug with Apple Fax and Word 2004?
From Word, clicking the Address Book icon in the fax dialog box, the addresses are BEHIND the fax dialog box. I cannot select an address.
I got rid of all the FaxSTF files (app, plist, etc.). Do I need to get rid of PageSender too?
Is there a fix? I've search this forum with key words without success.

I'm seeing the same issue as well. For some reason when clicking the Address Book button (the silhouette icon in the top right) the mini Address Book window ends up behind the faxing window and can not be accessed or closed. This doesn't seem to be as big of a deal in Entourage. The only workaround I've found is to Preview the Print job first and then Fax from Preview.
Would love to know if you found an answer to this.

Model object not gettting updated with mergeWithReferences()

I have a model object A that contains list of other models b as a collection.
I want to update object A using getTopLinkTemplate().mergeWithReferences(a) but it is not updating object a values in the database. The changes seems to be in the cache but when I check db, no changes at all.
Following debug statements clearly tells that UOW started but didn't run update SQL statement.

Hello,
How are you reading in A, and what are you changing? Be sure that you read in A using a uow otherwise you might be changing the object in the cache - if you are changing the cache object, merge will be a no-op and nothing will have appeared to change. If you are modifying 1:m relationships, make sure that both sides are changed as the side that owns the foreign key controls the field in the database. If you are removing B's from the A, you will probably need to merge these Bs seperately, as any changes made to them will not get picked up since the merge will not be able to cascade to them once they are dereferenced.

PS Elements 3.0 can not reinstall/repair with original cd. how can i fix this?

i am trying to repair Photoshop Elements 3.0 by reinstalling it. The computer is launching the home page off of the CD and allowed me to install Adobe Reader 6.0. When I tried to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 from the same home page I get the pop up box: ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 3.0 INSTALLER INFOR... Please insert the disk: 1 OK / CANCEL. the disk is already in the drive so i click OK and i can hear it running but then i get the same pop up box asking to insert the disk. i have opened the drive and closed the drive but that didnt help. i have opened the files and tried to manually run the setup.exe but i still get the pop up box asking to insert the disk. How can I reinstall/repair my PS Elements 3.0 without the disk? ( I also updated to 3.0.1 and this didnt help)

if the disk wasnt reading for a repair/reinstall will it read for a regular install?
if i uninstall and reinstall will i loose all of my tags?

Address book not syncing properly with Mail

When I press "Add to Address Book" it adds it, but then doesn't properly switch to "Open in Address Book." When I add phone numbers, addresses, etc., directly from an email text to address book, they won't show until I quit and re-open Address Book.
Has been happening a few months (under 10.5.6 I think). Anyone have any ideas? I tried pulling the com.apple.AddressBook.plist from my library to the desktop and restarting, but that didn't help.

Why won't iPhoto 11 Library will not stay Repaired?

I recently upgraded to iPhoto 11. I launched iPhoto 11 the first time and it updated my library as expected. Subsequently, each time I open iPhoto it says my library needs repair. So...O.K. I choose to repair it. But it doesn't seem to take. Still, I quit iPhoto and relaunch it but I keep getting the same dialog box asking my to repair my library. I dumped entire iPhoto library and copied my backup to my hard drive. This time it worked...for a couple of days. Then the same thing...prompts me to repair each time I launch the app.
So far this has just been inconvenient. I have chosen not to repair with no apparent issues. However, today I noticed that none of my iPhoto Events or Albums dated after Dec. 17, 2011 are showing up in iTunes when I sync to my iPod. Furthermore, since everything worked for a few days I went a head and updated my backup library. But it too needs to be repaired each time I open it (this is on an external hard drive).
Anybody have any ideas here?

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

SPORXY Integration Builder data not understood

Hello everybody,
I want to connect a 6.20 System to our XI 7.0 (SP13). The Integration Engine in the 6.20 is maintained correctly (Application System, Destination works), the sldcheck works fine.
I use the table SPROXSET instead of the exchangeprofile. The profile is empty, the SPROXSET has an valid entry (IFR_ADDRESS: http://systemDNSName:57000/rep).
The SPROX_CHECK_HTTP_COMMUNICATION says: HTTP communication functioning
But the test =>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE and ==>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION both show the failure: Integration Builder data not understood
Normally I connect 6.40 Systems to the XI, they work without a problem. Is there something special with 6.20 Systems?

The Add-On is isntalled.
I found out something else. When I try the Connection Test No.3 - SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE (in the SPROXY), the IE opens the following Url:
http://myHost:57000/rep/ifraccess?service=query&type=namespace
and I get a HTTP 404 Error. What is the correct Adress here?
