Address format(address layout key problem)

Hi All,
There seems to be a problem the way FM address_into_printform is formatting the address.
Address currently on the form is coming like below:
AGRI-M LTD
Vasisk Aprilso Str 138. PB 135
BG-4003 PLOVDIV
Address should come as below:
AGRI-M LTD
Vasisk Aprilso Str 138. PB 135
4003 PLOVDIV
BULGARIA
Issue here is that country BG(Bulgaria) which should come as "BULGARIA" and not just as "BG"(This is just a short form).
I debugged the function module and i found that when address layout key(t005-addrs) is set in customizing as "001" then system is printing the third line as "BG" but when I removed the "001"(in debugging) then it translates it to "BULGAIRA"(which is required).
I did not throughly debugg to see exactly at what time this happens(when it is set to BG and when it is set BULGARIA).
What do you think ? I know in customizing, removing this value 001 will work but do you have any idea whether it will create any problem for address format when it comes to priority(street over postal code or postal code over street).
Is there any other workout so that format comes as required.

In transaction OY01 or IMG menu path:
General Settings-> Set countries-> Define countries-> Position JP and
then go to the details.
You will see an address layout structure key. The standard for Japan is
013. For more information on the address layout structure key, place
your cursor in the field and press the F1 help. The documentation is
very complete.
They are based on different national and international guidelines and
norms, including:
ISO 11180,
contracts of the World Postal Union (Seoul 1994),
international address samples from the World Postal Union
as well as the available rules of the individual countries.
"Customers can program their own formatting routines using a customer
exit. The SZAD0001 SAP enhancement has been defined in development class
SZAD for this (-> transaction CMOD)."

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Address book - labels layout - other formats

Hello Forum
Does anyone know of a collection of other layouts for the address book label layouts. At the moment I only see Avery std, Avery A4 and DYMO.
There's a whole set of labels of other label makers eg DECAdry that I don't find in the list. Nor do I know of (or find) a site that maps DECAdry on Avery equivalents.
I can of course simply add it as custom layout but I was wondering if there were other alternatives?

Problem changing address format

I live in Japan, and therefore have lots of Japanese addresses. When I imported these addresses into Address book, it automatically put them in 'Japan' address format (although I have UK format specified in the preferences). Japan format is more or less the opposite of UK or USA format, with post code and city first, and street address last.
However, Japan format is only used if the address is in Japanese script. Otherwise the addresses are written in UK format. Therefore, I set about changing the formats. However, when I change the format, Address Book automatically puts the words 'United Kingdom' in the country field. I then have to change it to 'Japan'. As I have about a thousand addresses, this is pretty infuriating.
Is there anyway to change this behaviour, so that the country is not automatically inserted?

Unfortunately you may have to clear out the country field before changing the format.

I doubt you can create more address format types. There is no T-Code/Table etc to create a new one.

Address formatting in Cheque printing

I am doing an enhancement on Cheque printig to change the address format.I coded a perform to call a subroutine to which i am giving the address number and retrieving the address as ADDRESS-END ADDRESS is causing some issues .but when the subroutine is called it passes address no. in some different format( like XXXXX) rather than actual value.I debugged script and in the particular window the adress no. is displayed as XXXX.i also used CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT.Any suggestion is highly appreciated.Below is piece of my code

I have a similar problem. I actually spoke with a Paypal customer Representative a few months back who informed me that they had deleted all of my previous *Hidden* Address but when I just purchased an item today on a online merchant's site that I had never been to before and checked out using their Paypal option, I noticed that my default shipping address was in fact my old address and when I went to change the address to my current address, I noticed all of the old addresses I ever used were still there. I've just spoken with 2 separate paypal representatives who confirmed on their end that all of the old address have been deleted and the only one they have on file is my current address. Can anyone provide me an explanation as to why the old hidden address can still be showing up when I check out on merchant's sites using paypal even after they've seemingly been deleted? The last Representative suggested clearing out my browser's cache, but I don't believe that will resolve my issue. Thank you in advance.

Modifying Address Format

I found a bug in 2007a PL15 when modifying the business partner address format (USA) with the Setup area. I wanted to remove the row that contains the Block field. When I did that, all of the Free Text fields disappeared and they can't be re-added. When I attempt to re-add the Free Text fields, they don't get saved. Now I don't have a space or comma between my city/state/zip code fields.
SAP tells me that this "will not be fixed in this version." I was stunned. Now I don't have an address format that is usable without the spaces and commas. I needed to remove the Block field because the address doesn't fit within my client's window envelope.
Does anyone know how to change the format directly within the SQL tables? I don't want to manually add each address field on all of my PLD documents.
By the way, the other problem I found is that if you click on a free text field in any address format, B1 crashes. Just clicking on the field makes B1 shut down. SAP says this will be fixed in the March patch release.

I saw your post and tested, and got the same result. B1 doesn't always crash for me when I click on the Free Text field, but it does always freeze.
This is a critical issue, but remember we are in a pre-release ramp-up version of 2007A, so bugs are expected. I think you might see more issues that are not fixed until the general release version, now that we're closer to it and more development resources are focused on the general release's stability.
We have been able to work with the Address formats in SQL, I recall for a certain situation we had awhile back, but can't give you any specific details on how you can fix your issue in SQL, sorry.
If I figure anything out, I'll repost here.

Address formats and contact persons

With a number of our customers (not the majority) we have the requirement to have the following address format:
Company Name
c/- Contact Person
Address Line
Suburb
City and Zip Code
Of course we don't want to actually use the contact person field as we don't always want to have contact person in the address for all customers.
I would have thought this was quite a standard requirement for most businesses but cannot see a STANDARD solution for it in SBO.
Also is there an easy way to hide address fields when they are null as per the unanswered question: /thread/61000 [original link is broken]

I was already aware of this functionality. However, I find this fairly limiting. I have two questions:
1) Can you get blank lines in the standard address format to be skipped?
For instance if you have a standard address format of:
STREET
BLOCK
CITY
PROVINCE
And it is a small town in a province which means you either leave the Block or the City blank then a blank row is shown when the address is printed on the invoice.
Is there a simply way where if a row is blank then it can be ignored in the address layout? I notice that there is a line length row but don't know if there is a special code you can enter in there to say skip if blank or something like that - so that it moves onto the next field with data.
I recognise that you can't strip and rebuild the address fields in the Print Layout Designer but was wanting to know if there was something standard.
2) I am not sure how SBO handles mail that is sent c/- a person in a company in terms of standard functionality.

How to enter new British address format?

The format for British addresses in Address Book is:

County
Postcode
Country
But I have addresses like this:
House name
Street
Area
City
Postcode
Country
e.g.
"Dunroamin"
123 Any St
Ealing
LONDON
XY12 3Z
I don't mind having an extra County field in, but how can I add the house name and area?

Putting a return in the street field works for Address Book, but means it won't sync with my phone any more.
It's true that the name and number are not both needed, but in something like "Flat 99, 123 Any Street", both the flat number and house number are essential. I can always make it one long line.
The harder problem is how to get a locality or area field in between the street address and the city. This isn't just a whim of mine - there are many addresses where the official postal address, as dictated by the Royal Mail, includes an area. The only thing I can think of at the moment is to use the City field for the area and the County field for the city. Not ideal.

I have Implemented some code for Address BOok. Iam reading address book data.I have readed address from address book. Now , I have a string value for all the Address Book Key for ex kABAddressCountryKey etc.
Now I want to merge an get full address.
How can I get full address from all the strings value ?

First, I would like to thank BlackBerry Technical Suppor for assisting me to work through this. The long and shot of this situation is that if your BlackBerry contains multiple contact lists, then there MAY appear to be a problem
The essence of the issue is by default, the Device has a Default contact list that it uses to sync with Address Book.
The short story here is : to keep all your contacts on your Device and Address Book in sync, merge all of your contact lists into one one list. This does not prevent using Groups etc. but it does ensure contacts 2Way sync works.
Merging contact lists can be achieved a number of ways : Use Microsoft Outlook. or upload contact lists to a gmail account and use the Merge function there. Once contacts are Merged , export them from Gmail as a .vcf file bakc to Address Book on your Mac. The steps to be taken will vary by device and the number of contact lists on your device.

I need to change the format address on the top-left frame. The current format of the address is City, Street and house number.
How can I change the format to display house number, street and city?

You can definately change positioning of field by configuration.
Click on address field
Press F2. Check Component, view and Configuration found fields (Role conifg key, Component usage, Object type, Object subtype)
Eg:
Component: BP_ADDR
View: StandardAddress
Role key (Found): <Default>
Component Usage (Found): <Default>
Obj type (Found): <Default>
Subobj type (Found): <Default>
Open tx bsp_wd_cmpwb
open component BP_ADDR, view standardaddress
Click on configuration tab
Click on Seleat configuration
Select <default> <default> <default> <default> conifguration
Click on edit button
Change positioning of field as required
Save your configuration
You pbm will be solved

Hello - I just purchased an iPhone 4s and would like to use iCloud but my apple id is not in email address format so when i try to sign into iCloud it won't let me use my apple id. i tried to change my apple id through my account settings but could not find a way to do that. i found ways to change everything else in my settings but when i pushed on the edit button to change my apple id the page didn't change. Not sure how i can get to use iCloud? Please help.
