ADDRESS/URLm line missing

I am using Internet Explorer and at present using a PC laptop as my eMac has BlueScreen-itis for the moment. Wonder if anyone can assist me with the following: At the top of the Int Exp page I have two rows, first one starting with File, Edit, View, etc and the line below that being, Back, Forward, Stop,Refresh, etc. On my eMac I also had an address or URL line that showed the url of whatever site you were in at the time. Does anyone know how I can get that back on this one--I thought it was in the VIEW, toolbars section, but cant seem to get it to show up. Appreciate any help. Cheers.

It's View> Status bar and appears at the bottom of the IE window.
What's up with the blue screen on your Mac? How far along are you with the usual troubleshooting steps --- disconnecting everything but keyboard and mouse, Safe Mode, using your OS X install disk to run Repair Disk and/or single-user mode to run fsck (per Using Disk Utility and fsck), checking with Apple Hardware Test, etc.?
EDIT: whoops, I blanked about your post of Nov. 1. Any progress with getting into the eMac is Firewire Target Disk mode to try to clear enough free space for Disk Warrior to go to work? You can delete the "American Tail" file, for one thing --- that's not a system file (no idea how it got on your eMac). You can try searching for large .tmp files to toss; if you've ever had Norton AntiVirus, search for "spacesucking.xxxxxxx" where the extension is a numerical string. See if any files named "core" turn up; those are sometime left behind by a program crash and are usually big enough that deleting them can free a significant amount of space.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

Use "Alt" to make sure the menu bar is visible, then View > Toolbars > ... -- make sure that the Navigation bar is checkmarked, if tabs on top is confusing uncheck that, if you want to see menus and title bar make sure menu bar is check-marked.

Order Address per Line Item in OLA

Hi, hoping someone can help with an OA/OLA query.
One of our Buyers would like to use a different ordering address for one of the line items in an OLA. Is there any way to set up an Ordering
Address per line item in the OLA? Or does she need to create a new OLA?

I'd suggest writing your own might be easier. Oracle buckets the exposure as per the list below whereas you are probably only interested in seeing a total order exposure (by line item for bottles/shells) and total AR exposure summary.
Also the standard report will look at the unit sell * the ordered quantity in calculating transaction amounts on open orders which is your problem. If I've understood your requirement correctly, you only want to consider the shells and bottles in the credit check because you enforce prepayment for liquids so presumably your AR o/s balances are only for money owing on shells and bottles.
In that case, your only real issue is at the order entry stage (again because Oracle will be considering the total transaction value if you're using the standard automated credit check) which is why I suggested the manual workaround there.

Address book application missing!

no address book in my applications folder. when i do a search of my hard drive address book is missing. how do i reinstall it?

I don't currently have Panther installed on any of my Macs, and I cannot parallel what you have done. To the best of my knowledge this option should not be there, or at least should not be what you expect it to be.
I believe you have only used the Restore disk to restore "bundled applications" -- see:

Is it posible to change the ship to address at line item level in CRM order either at the time of order creation or order change. if yes please let me know if we need to do any settings for this.

I agree with the previous comment, Please go to the Partner Determination procedure attached to the Transaction and in the partner functions associated with the that procedure, find Ship-to-Party and there will be a check box to "make it changeable" once determined. Check that and save it.. You should be all set

SAP Script - delete paragraph between two lines or move address one line up

Hi all,
i have a problem concerning SAPscript and formating.
In the address window i have an include, which provides a text in a line. after that i have a command line with address and paragraph, which sorts and formats the address. Problem is that there is a gap between my Text from the Include and the address. Is there a way to move the address one line up or any other way to delete the paragraph there?
SAPscript looks like this:

But does occur even when acceleration, all extensions & add-ins and themes are disabled. I have also reloaded firefox 4. Any other ideas?

If the problem doesn't occur in Safe Mode, restart again in that configuration and then in the menu which appears, checkmark the option: "Disable All Add-ons". Then click the button called "Make changes and restart".
Next, re-enable your add-ons one-by-one until the problem recurs. Then you'll know which one is the culprit.

QT & Grass Valley Turbo videoplayer - Lines missing

We use a video play machine called Grass Valey Turbo iDDR.

It uses QT to play video.
One channnel has a QT video file and another channel has a QT alpha file (bw only, indicating where transparency should be at)
Problem is, 95 of the movies have the 2 upper most lines missing, which results in underlaying footage showing through. (not desirable)
Some movies are complete, but only few.
All movies are made the same way, TGA compression @ 100 quality.
Still there are differences.
How can this be?

Ah yep, sorry, well spotted. I didn't notice it had reverted back to NTSC.
I did some searching around and no-one seemed to have a solution to this problem other than using another compression program such as Episode or Cleaner. Unfortunately these cost money.
It's worth requesting this as a feature for a future update. Hopefully Apple will be devoting more development time to Compressor for version 4.

IP Softphone Error " Could Not Open Address Cisco Line "

I am setting up IP Softphone Version 1.3(3). My CallManager version is 3.1.3a.
The Problem:
I have created a CTI Port for this user, and added both his DN line appearances to this CTI Port.
I have created a user profile for the user and associated the USER_CTI with that user. Checked off "Enable CTI" etc.
What happens though is that when I launch Softphone and go to select my lines it will only allow me to select only 1 of the 2 line appearance not both.
If I select both I receive and error " Could Not Open Address Cisco Line: [User_Cti] DN#
However if I associate the user profile with his physical phone device not the User_Cti, I can get both line appearances up and running on his softphone. This is not desired though because whatever you do on the softphone happens on the physical phone (such as going off-hook brings dial tone on the Physical IP Phone.
Is this a limitation when using CTI ports that you can only associate 1 DN to a softphone? or am I doing something wrong?

As outlined in the SoftPhone Admin Guide, it states that you may receive the "Could Not Open Address Cisco Line" error if another application has that line open. I confirmed that this is NOT the case by creating a totally new User Profile and New DN's, and then trying to link that CTI Port to Softphone. I still received the same error.

I Can See a Line But When I Try To Open it, Cisco IP SoftPhone Displays a 'Could not open address' Error.
Possible Cause This error typically occurs if another application has already opened the line (locally or on another computer), or the line is out of service. Each line can be opened only once. If the line has been opened before and the line is now out of service, the line will automatically go back in use. You do not have to do anything. If you tried to open a line that is out of service, you may need to restart the Telephony service and launch Cisco IP SoftPhone again.
Recommended Action Restart the Telephony service. See the "Restart the Telephony Service" section.
I tried and tested this once again no change.

Strange display problems: lines, missing icons, pieces of windows that stay on screen...

My white 24" iMac has recently started having problems with the display. Because I'm able to capture it with Grab and due to the nature of the problem, it doens't appear to be hardware related. But, not sure. See the screen cap I took below as an example of one of the problems I'm seeing.
I'll try to describe a few other display anomalies I'm having:
Moving a window leaves the background that it was on intact all around the edge of the window, where the drop shadow would be.
The Dock, which is set to be hidden until my cursor moves into that area, will appear sometimes with some of the icons missing, but, the shadows for those icons are visible on the Dock. Or, there are weird lines and patterns around each icon.
While using Safari and a few other apps, I'll frequently get colored lines and patterns that suddenly appear across the screen, and then disappear when my cursor moves over that part of the screen.
When I click on the minimize button, the window uses the Genie effect to move into the Dock, but, often leaves a bit of the window on the screen. It will sometimes clear when I drag another window over the area, or the window I'm dragging will start looking like it does in the screen cap below.
My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT. I updated the firmware to ROM Revision 3467, but, it didn't seem to make any difference. The only think I can recall doing before this problem happened is I installed the iTunes 10.4.1 update. I'm running OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard).
This iMac is about 4.5 years old, so, it's not covered by warranty anymore which means I can't take it to an Apple Store for troubleshooting. I'm hoping someone knows how I can fix this. It just started doing this a week ago. Thanks!

My iMac does not have a separate video card, so, I was not able to replace it as suggested above. Apparently with the Intel iMacs, or at least the one I have, the video "card" is actually a few chips on the logic board. I was told the only way to fix this is to replace the entire logic board, which is too costly (no longer within warranty).
I did a bit of research and discovered that the problem seems to be related to how hot the computer gets. I noticed this, too. When I started using my iMac first thing in the day, no problems. As the day progressed and the computer heated up, I'd start having all these video problems.
I found a utility called smcFanControl which allows you to speed up the mininim fan speeds inside the computer, which helps keep it cooler. Since I installed this, I've had very few video problems. So, it appears to have "solved" my problem for now.
I wish there was a better solution than this band-aid fix, but, it's a lot cheaper than having the logic board replaced or buying a new iMac, the only choices I was given by Apple. Hope it works for you, too!

Lines Missing from .eps file

I genereate the inital image in AutoCAD, export it as an .eps file then format the image using Illustrator CS5. The files are then placed into an ExCel spreadsheet where the lines will not show up.
When using Illustrator I change the stroke of all lines then drag the artboard edges closer to the object leaving a space around the object. After formatting the very most bottom line of my thumbnails will be missing. I've tried placing the objects at a different reference points in AutoCAD before exporting the file but this has not helped. When running CS3 I never had this problem.
I'm a novice at using Illustrator so any thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Why bother with EPS for an Excel chart? Export it sufficiently high-res from AI as a PNG and be done with it.

The spools of a SmartForm that I developed are missing the line:

The spool starts with:
<smartxsf xmlns="urn:sap-com:SmartForms:2000:xsf"><header><general><version>1.14.2< (so on...)
The Functional Counsultant wants the spool to look like:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?><sf><smartxsf xmlns="urn:sap-com:SmartForms:2000:xsf"><header><general><version>1.14.2< (so on...)
Only such a spool can be printed successfully. If the line is missing, no print out can be taken.
Could you please tell me what settings need to be done in order to see the missing line in the spools?
