Addressbook printing with Avery labels?

How can I print my Addressbook on Avery labels? Do I use Word, Excel?? I am looking for software where I can change the name in the address in every label to 'Mr & Mrs' or 'the XXX family' - so I am looking for a program which can do more than just than print my address book. Thanks!!!

There is a free label printing program from Avery:
Avery DesignPro for Mac - You should find it with a Google search.
Design Pro imports your Mac Address Book. Once imported, you can edit the text - adding the Mr & Mrs or & Family etc.
It is not the best designed program and you will find it has some irritating problems. Once you have imported the addresses you cannot delete them, other than editing the text to blank. Before you import, check the preview to select only the addresses you need - it will import all by default.
I had to do the import a couple of times to get the right names and to leave space on the label for a logo.

I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .
    I hope this helps.

  • I purchased Label Printer Pro 7, but it does not work. It crashes. Please recommend an address/shipping label program that works with Avery labels. Thanks.

I purchased Label Printer Pro 7, but it does not work. It crashes. I press print, and the program closes. I press save, and the program closes. I press print and the program closes. I have had an email exchange with Pabel Printer Pro 7, but the best they could offer was to go to Utilities and click on fixed permssions. I have done that several times, and the program still doesn't work.
Can you please recommend an address.shipping label program that works with Avery labels that I can purchase, and that is also simple to use?
    Thanks,
    Paula

  • Layout & printing of avery labels...

I am trying to figure out how to layout & print avery labels...5160 with a picture/symbols.
I do not want to print from address book...I want to be able to print an entire page of the same symbol like I could on a pc in word!

Try Avery's own software for the purpose:

  • Printable side issues with Avery labels

I'm printing Avery labels on my HP Photosmart 6180.  Was printing them fine and then started giving me a "remove paper and re-insert with the printable side down, then press OK".  Printable side is down, won't work.  Using Word 2007.  Help only two pages to go!

    Hi jimv11,
I understand that you are having a problem with printing labels. I will try my best to help you resolve this. I researched this printer and in this document Load Paper for labels I found this information.
Labels (for printing from a software application only):
Always use letter or A4 label sheets designed for use with HP inkjet devices (such as HP inkjet labels).
Make sure that the labels are no more than two years old. Labels on older sheets might peel off when the paper is pulled through the HP All-in-One, causing paper jams.
Fan the stack of labels to make sure none of the pages are sticking together.
Place a stack of label sheets on top of full-size plain paper in the paper tray, label side down. Do not insert labels one sheet at a time.
You also need to make sure that in the print menu on the computer you are choosing advance and then choosing the correct paper type. There should be a choice for labels.
    I hope this helps

  • HPC6380 - doesn't print Avery labels accruately

    1. Mac OS10.6.8
2.Using Print Shop to print labels - using Avery 48860 labels
    3. Printing labels used to work just fine about 1 month ago - I'm not sure of any upgrades between then and now.
    4. Other-Printer prints accurately with a plain piece of paper but does not seem to like the actual label.
    5. Any idea what could be the problem?

    Hello keith0091,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having and issue with finding a user guide and printing with Avery Labels.
I have done some research and I have found the user guide for you.
As for printing with Avery Labels.  Chances are you do not have an issue with the printer but with the compatibility with the printer and Avery Labels program.
I suggest you contact Avery Labels and see if the issue is as simple as maybe a settings change or an update.
    Thanks for your time.

I am trying to print a sheet of avery labels  all with the same info on them. Does anyone know an application that I can do it in?

Welcome to the Apple Discussion Forums! This is your first question, right?
This took a long time for me when I was printing my Avery labels. Pages doesn't seem capable of doing it, but you can do it on MS Word 2011. Try searching Google for more alternatives.

  • How do I find template for avery labels in iPages

I lost Word when I went to iPages.  Now I cannot find a way of finding a template to do mailing labels with Avery labels.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

It is in the Print panel of Contacts. Pages v5 and derivate versions have no built-in Mail merge capability without AppleScript programming/integration skills.
Build a simple mailing list in Numbers or another spreadsheet application. Export to comma separated values (CSV) file.
In Contacts, create a new group (File > New Group), and with that new group selected, select File > Import and provide the name of the CSV file. Your new group is now populated with contact information. Clean up as needed. File > Print. You can click on the following image to enlarge.

  • Barcode printed with Adobe Reader XI cannot be recognized by barcode reader

    Dear Support,
We are generating barcode and convert it into pdf using Crystal Report for .NET Framework 2.0.
The pdf is opened with Adobe reader XI / FoxitReader 4.3.1. And it is printed with Avery Dennison AP 5.4 300DPI.
When the pdf is printed with Adobe reader XI, the barcode cannot be read with barcode reader, but when it is printed with FoxitReader 4.3.1, barcode can be read with barcode reader.
I've compared the two printed barcodes and found Adobe printed the lines thicker and the characters wider. Thus, two lines sticked together and become 1 line. As result, it cannot be recognized by barcode reader.
Could you explain why did this occur and how can I fix it in Adobe? Are there any settings I can change to solve it?
    Thank you very much.
Operating System: Windows Xp or Windows 7
Application: Adobe reader XI or FoxitReader 4.3.1

    Thanks Pak,
    I've attached the pdf on:
    https://files.acrobat.com/preview/47dde05c-4835-4bdc-881f-c406f8056f01
As the problem I've described in the post only occurs on specific printer, I've found a way to reproduce the barcode problem in most of the printer.
From the pdf I've provided, you may print it with Adobe and Foxit, using a printing scale of 190%.
For the Adoble one, you may observe some white lines in between the labels, and the Foxit, there are no white lines.
I do believe that two problems are related. Do you have any idea on that?

  • How can I create a new label using Pages and Avery Labels products?

How can I create a new label using Avery LAbels and PAges on an imac?

    Contacts prints to Avery labels.
Otherwise just open the appropriate Word template from Avery's website, in Pages.

  • Printing avery label 5215 with my hp envy 5530

How to print Avery label 5215 with my HP Envy 5530?

    Hey @MsTraveler,
Welcome to the HP Support Forum. I hope you enjoy your experience here.
I understand you're looking to print labels using your HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer.  I would like to help.
In looking into your request, I did some research and couldn't find any indication in your printer's specs that it's designed to print or handle labels.  (You can click here for reference).  What this means is that your printer software isn't going to give you a labels option under the paper types presented.
However, I did find that Avery provides its users with an online label printing interface that might help.  Click here to give that a try.
Let me know how it works out for you.  If I have helped you resolve the issue and you liked this post, feel free to give me virtual props by clicking on the 'Thumbs Up' icon below.

  • Can pages print a sheet of Avery labels, with the same address on all labels?  If not, why not?

How do you print the same address on a sheet of Avery labels using Pages?  If not, why not?

It is possible. Download the Pages template form here > Open the template in Pages. Fill in the desired information in the first cell. Copy the information (address) Hold the cursor down and scroll down one column of labels and hit paste > it should be highlighted. Repeat by highlighting the next column and paste. You probably using 30 up labels so there would be 3  columns. Hope that helps.

  • Addressbook - printing full page address labels

Here's a helpful tip for those trying to print Avery label sheets of the same address using the included Avery printing function in Addressbook: (ie: 80 of the same label on a single 5167 sheet)
    Create a group.
Create a new card with the address etc...
Select the card in the second column.
    Copy.
Paste 9 times, to create a total of 10 identical cards in the group.
    Select All.
    Copy.
Paste 7 times to create a total of 80 cards in the group.
    Print.
Select save as PDF from the Print dialog.
With this document, you should now be able to print full sheets of address labels from Adobe Acrobat Reader.

    Hi Rodger_
Thank you for the additional information, it was helpful.
I was speaking with one of my colleagues and we would like you to try the following steps. Once you have completed the steps please try printing again.
    1)    Please reset your printing system, I have included a document on how to do this. Please be aware that this reset deletes all print settings and pending print jobs from your Mac.
    2)    In the "Printers & Scanners" please click on the '+' and choose "Add another printer or scanner from the options (see screen shot)
    3)    Choose your Laserjet CM1415fnw and at the bottom where it says "USE" please change it to the HP Laserjet (see screen shot) instead of AirPrint
