Addresses on iPhone are wrong sequence

Hi,
My Mac has all my contacts with correct address (UK format). But my iPhone has the fields the wrong way round! E.g.:
On my Mac:
Mr Smith
"Dunroamin"
111 High Street
Anytown
Anycity
AA1 2BC
On my iPhone:
Mr Smith
111 High Street
"Dunroamin"
Anytown
AA1 2BC
I can't find a setting in iPhone to set address fields in a certain format - e.g. UK or US format, which is what I suspect i happening.... Anyone got any ideas?

I think I've solved it, this is what I did.
Edited my contacts on my iMac and got them just how I wanted them. Exported a copy of them to desktop. Went to iCloud prefs and unticked the Contacts box. Got a message saying do you want to keep a copy or delete? I selected delete. Contacts book on iMac now blank. Signed in to iCloud through browser. Went to contacts and selected all, then deleted all (use gear cog at bottom left to do this). iCloud contacts now blank. Went back to Contacts on iMac, imported the saved list back to address book, all my edited addresses just the way I want them are back. Go to iCloud in prefs, retick the Contacts box. Go to iCloud and refresh (again through the cog at bottom). All my edited contacts from my iMac have now synced up to iCloud. I have NO duplicates on my iMac (which I was getting). I haven't checked the iPad yet to see what is going on there, but hoping I've finally solved it. It seems in Mountain lion you no longer have the option to have the iCloud account and On My Mac account, but I could be wrong, I'm just stumbling around in the dark.

Reset the device. If it doesn't work try removing your account and adding it again. If that doesn't work then try restoring the device to factory settings by pluggin into iTunes and clicking "Restore".

A couple of different approached:
Create a second AppleID for one of you that includes the email address and phone number you wish to use for messaging, but do not apply it to the iTunes and app store (just keep the current one). My wife and I do this and it works quite well. Also allows for easier syncing of Contacts , notes etc. using icloud if you wish to do that.
Add additional emails/phone numbers to the existing account and change the Send/Receive settings for Messages. this will not fix the Contcts isues for you however.

OS X Address Book + iPhone 4 + mobileMe - Are There Limits?

OK... so with no love on the previous thread yet, I'm asking again for assistance but will take a different tact. I can't seem to find an answer to the question.
Are there limitations and/or restrictions in OS X Address Book, iPhone 4 and/or mobileMe as to the number of data fields each contact can have or display?
Please let me know.

Figured out what was happening here. It seems that even though a new contact is synced immediately (from MobileMe to the iPhone), categorization data is NOT -- it seems to take hours until this data gets updated.

Apple Mail "From Field" addresses are wrong, and cached

I couldn't find the "Mail" community in the list of communities - Safari, and other standard apps were listed, just not Mail. If this is problem is in the incorrect location, please let me know where to place it - Ta
Here is the problem . . .
When creating a new email in the "Mail" App, the drop down box for the "From:" field displays a lot of address - some of them are wrong, some of them are obsolete, and some I would like to edit (or delete and re-enter the information).
The menu item "Window -> Previous Recepients" does not have any of the offending addresses listed in the cache.
If I create a new mail account using "Mail -> Preferences...", the email address and other details from the new account show up in the "From:" field drop down box when composing a new email. If I delete that new account, and restart the Mail App, the "From:" field drop down box still contains the information from the now defunct account.
If I pick a different account, and edit the information contained therein - say the "Full Name:" field, that new information does not necessarily change - specifically, if a double quote - " - has been accidentally inserted, or the "Full Name:" field used double quotes in the style "My Name" <[email protected]> then the double quotes stay stuck around the Full Name, even after being removed from the account details in Mail Preferences.
My guess . . . a file stored somewhere on the disc is keeping track of this information similar to the Window -> Previous Recepients information. This information I know how to prune (delete undesired records).
How do I do the same thing for the "From:" field?

Back up all data.

What card are you Using. Are you using a card from the US or the UK? Because if you live in the UK and trying to access the UK Store, then you need to use a card that has a billing address in the UK. Go back to Settings > iTunes and App Store then click view Apple ID and click payement Info and make sure everything is correct as far as your payment info and Billing Address

During sync, new contacts on my iphone are deleted. I'll typically add any new contacts I get directly to my iphone, simply because I don't have my mac on me at all times. However, unless I specifically add the contact to my mac address book, it will be deleted from my iphone contacts upon sync. The option in iTunes to replace contacts on my iphone is not selected. Thank you for your reply. I realy have nothing else to sync - no music. Emails do work so its just my contacts I am concerned about. I'm kinda new at this but have a working understanding of the system.
I have an icloud account but the Geek Squad went there and tried but could not export contacts. I truly am not that good re icloud. They worked exclusively with my itunes, re-downloading, etc - all of the stuff in their book.
I have not tried a complete restore because I am not sure I am that good with the equipment but could. I did all of the stuff on the help page - sync reset, forced one-way sync etc but the phone just does not seem to recognize the sync. I have not gone to an Apple store to have them have a look - that may be my next step to hook up to another itunes computer. It seems simple to me - it was working fine until maybe 3 months ago - probably when there was an update. Its telling to me that the phone does not tell me there is a sync in process while itunes is saying there is - its just not biting between the 2.
I appreciate any hep - and I said, I not stupidi about these things but have kind of reached as far as I am comfortable with fear of doing something really wrong.

There are a variety of options available to you, including creating an email "alias" or changing the email address associated with your iCloud ID.
For all practical purposes your iCloud email address and Apple ID are interchangeable. To change your Apple ID read Apple ID: Changing your Apple ID.
If you simply created an Apple ID in error, you might consider abandoning it altogether and creating a new one. On the other hand, if you already used that Apple ID to purchase iTunes or other digital content, don't create a new Apple ID, because any purchases you already made are inexorably linked to the Apple ID used to make them.

I am successfully able to configure my outlook 2007 with iphone. My only question is, if i make any changes in my contacts at iphone will the same be automatically reflected into outlook express 07 on my computer...after the next sync

Yes, it is supposed to work both ways. You might want to start by resetting the sync history in iTunes, do that in preferences. Go to Edit, preferencees, then the sync tab, and then reset sync history. Another thing to try is make sure there is no corruption in the pst file for your Outlook. You can do this by running a program that is resident to the computer that comes with Outlook, that is called scanpst.exe. That will check your Outlook file for errors. The last thing is to check once the iPhone is connected to iTunes what the status of the checkboxes is for syncing contacts. I believe that one or any combination of the things mentioned should get you back on track.

The font for my toolbars/menus/tabs/awesome bar are wrong.

I downloaded F4b8 yesterday and found that the font used in the toolbars/tab titles/address bar/menu were wrong. At first it was showing as Algerian something or other, which I believe was a font I had installed. I deleted this font, and the font in all those areas is now Courier New. I'm assuming this is not how it is supposed to be. I tried using userChrome.css to set the font to Helvetica, but that didn't work. (I'm assuming I probably didn't do it right since I'm not familiar with it).
I've uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times. I also uninstalled the old version of firefox I was using (3.6) and it still is the wrong font. I'll try redownloading the install file and see if it was corrupted somehow.
Note: This is not the fonts generated within the actual webpage or in text fields within webpages. All of those fonts are being displayed correctly.

Try to disable hardware acceleration:

You do realize that this article ( form August -beofore Apple announced the new iphone) was simply speculating on what the next iphone to be released would be.
You do not have to guess any longer. Apple has allready released the iphone 4s.
You seem to be very confused about what this is saying.
This article simply guessed that maybe iphone was going to announce a new cheap iphone at the conferance which happend a couple of months ago.
We now know that this was completely wrong. Apple released the iphone 4s.
The article does not mean that they would give iphone 3gs users a iphone 4 as a replacement. It meant that they would not make 3gs any longer and would now make a cheaper iphone 4 instead.
We now know that this was incorrect.
