ADE 2.0 does not have functions of divided page and single page- like ADE 1.7?

I have a question for specification between ADE 1.7 and ADE 2.0.
ADE 2.0 does not have icon buttons for "divided two-page" and "single page" like ADE 1.7? Since ADE 1.8 Preview version was temporarily available to download, there has been disappeared such functions....

There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1). Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Some people have found ADE trying to upgrade automatically.
It appears (not 100% sure) that if you install ADE2.0 as a new install (not as an upgrade) that your 1.7.2 will continue to run.
Probably best to say no if 2.0.x installation asks if you want to migrate your library.

Yes, there are so many pages on-line that -- when made small enough to fit within the margins so one does no have to use a scroll bar on EVERY line, moving it back and forth, back and forth -- look like a FINE-print Bible page (!! tiny !!) if you keep reducing it to fit within the margins.
ALL because we cannot find a place to tell it to WRAP to FIT. Could have sworn I've seen some feature like that somewhere at one time, but if it is here, I cannot find it.

If you are really on iOS 5 then look in Settings > General > Software update.
Otherwise:
If you are using iOS 4 (or earlier) there is no Software Update in Settings. That feature was first added in iOS 5.
To update you will have to connect your iPad to iTunes on a computer (preferably the one you sync with and backup to).

You probably know that mobilme goes away in June this year. There are two ways to access your mail account on iCloud, either through Lion or via the web. Web access won't get you to all the benefits of iCloud but will allow you to get to Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Find My iPhone. See this FAQ: http://www.apple.com/mobileme/transition.html
If you decide to go with Lion, the maximum memory you can install is 4GB, however the system will only use 3GB, which is enough to run Lion. my wife was using another application and when she minimized this app, firefox was updating without any prompting to us, which I thought was unusual. The "new' firefox page just doesn't look right. The Norton toolbar is no longer there, and, most curious of all, our persona background, which we've used for a very long time, was not there. When I try to change the background, I cannot. I am concerned that a hacker may be impersonating firefox. Am I being paranoid or is this a common problem?

I have a computer with a "partitioned" hard drive. The "C" does not have enough space to backup and upgrade my iPhone 4. How can I backup to my "E" drive instead of my "C"?

Format the HDD in Disk Utility>Erase to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and the open System Preferences>Time Machine and set up the external disk as the Time Machine HDD. Then look at the Options, and exclude what you do not want backed up.

I got an new Samsung S5 this week. Now I am getting a message saying that this mobile number does not have permission to send messages and to contact the acct. owner (me) to change permissions. How do I do that?

All I did was tap the red message+ icon on the home page and I got this as one of the messages. I do not know where to go to grant the desired permission.

Congratulations on your new phone Gramps5019! Let's make sure we fix this asap. All you have to do is go to Settings from your phone, the More>Select 'Default SMS App' and choose "Messages" instead of "Messages ". This will fix it.

Updated microsoft word 2011 version 14.4.3 and it does not have an "illustrations" grouping or "screen shot" option like 2010 did.

I clicked the update for my microsoft word program that came with my macbook pro when it showed there were updates. Now I have Microsoft Word 2011 Version 14.4.3 It seems to have LESS options that the previous version and is not user friendly.
I can't find help information on line about it either because it is too new? I used the "illustrations" grouping, and " screen shot" options all of the time to create documents to be used in my teaching. Now I can't figure
out how to do that with the new version. It seems they were taken out??????? If that is the case, how do I reverse the update and get my previous version back?

I have purchased a Imac G5 20" Computer. I does not have wireless, so I purchased and airport card to install. after opening the computer, there is no metal stand to install the card. i ordered a stand on Ebay. Do I need to buy an antenna too?

Yes, you will need an antenna as well. You will probably want to add more memory, you can have up to 2GB (an iSight can take 2.5GB), and depending on the size of the drive, you might want to put a bigger one in as well.

You may have had that iPad for 18 months but it must have sat in the store for a while before that. If there is no update choice in Settings then you must have an iOS version prior to ios 5. For those older versions you must update while your iPad is connected to the computer you normally sync with and while running iTunes on that computer.
Start iTunes on the computer, connect your iPad, select your iPad in iTunes and select Summary from the row of tabs that is presented. Scroll down under Summary to find Check for Updates.

IMovie 10.02 does not have program memory while exporting movie

I would appreciate any help to learn what iMovie does while exporting a movie I just made.
I am using the latest iMovie under OS Maverick and I have just created a project, added soundtracks and wanted to export the project
into a movie. The project is 31 minutes long and trying to export it as a file in HD quality, iTunes breakes off after a while and shows
the error message, that my system does not have any program memory anymore and that I have to shut down all used programs in order to
avoid problems with my computer.
Did anybody have had this kind of problem before? With the previous version, I made so many movies, partly almost an hour long and never had
any trouble in doing so. I could export as HD movie or into Quick Time but now the game has changed and I do not know exactly what I did wrong.
Why would there be not enough recources even though I upgraded my RAM to 8 GB.

I also walked the forums about this and no solution. I contacted yesterday assitance call and the person does not see more where the problem is. I tried to repair the disk and permissions thereof, restart in safe mode and reinstall iMovie 10 but to no avail. He even advised me to reinstall Maverick or as you say, to use the old version of iMovie 9. I hope Apple will soon respond to this issue and provide an update because it is not normal at all.

Either I can't find my printer control panel or it does not have the scan icon

I have an HP Deskjet 3055A J611 Series, which is running on Windows 7.
It is important that I scan several pages and place them all in one file. I understand that this requires that I access the printer control panel. I have accessed the printer through the icon "devices and printers", and the panel that comes up have only the following 4 items: am unable to scan from my printer control panel: HP Printer Assistant; See What's Printing; Set Preferences; Customize your Printer. Perhaps this is not the control panel? If not, then I do not know how to access the control panel. On the other hand, if this is the control panel, then it does not have all of the icons and I do not know why. Could you please help? If I can't get this straightened out, I will need to find another printer that can easily scan documents with several pages onto one file.

I understand you are not seeing the options within the Printer Assistant to change the scan options to allow you to save a multi-page scan as one file.
I would first suggest installing the Full Feature Driver to install the scanning options.

Afterwards, you should see the printer software on your Desktop, open it up, click on Scan a Document or Photo, select the "Advance" option and you should see this box to check mark to select:

Windows 8 Pro volume license version does not have "Add Features" therefore cannot install media center.

As the title describes, Windows 8 Pro installed from the Volume License ISO does not have the Add Features wizard, and as such it appears to be impossible to install the Windows Media Pack.
I've consulted with Live Chat support who cannot provide an answer to this, they simply said it should be done through "Add Features" which does not exist.
A similar thread was answered by saying install from a Retail disc and upgrade. However this is hardly a solution, paying for an additional Windows license when you already have a volume license.
Can anyone, preferably MSFT, provide a proper answer on how Windows Media Center can be install on Windows 8 Pro which is volume licensed. If it can't be done can some reason or justification be given as to why it can't be done.

I would like to pile on here and say "ditto" to all of the above. you have a licensed product and they don't even support the MSFT version of a DVD player. Nah, no one EVER has to play a older technology in corporate America due to training or presentation

So, MSFT management, let me paraphrase the posts above: "WHY don't you support our business needs"

If you don't meet small business needs, someone will... and that too is fraught with risk.

Cannot modify application: [dimension] does not have any members

Hi experts,
When I try to add a newly created dimension to an application, I get the error message: "[dimension] does not have any members. Validate and process members first".
I have indeed added members to the dimension and saved to the server and processed. However, I guess that the processing does not work as it should because when I process the dimension, it only goes further than "Progress (1/4)", followed by the message "The task has been successfully completed".
I would expect it to go up to "Progress (4/4)....
The backward compatibility pack has been installed.
Any suggestions?

- Version is 7 SP4 for Microsoft
- It's a customer install
- Same behavior in Apshell. I can "process" the dimension in Apshell but I don't think it really processes it. It still stops at step 1/4 even at Apshell
- When I add the dimension to an application, it says that the dimension does not contain any members, even in ApShell.
So to summarize: the behavior is the same in Apshell.
Can I look into any logs to see exactly what happens?
