ADE says me that my account is connected to another device already
I bought a book on IBS, then downloaded and installed ADE on my laptop. When I try to authorize my PC with the account, the program says me that the account is already connected to another device. I tried also to disconnect any Adobe account from my e-book reader, but same error. This is the only computer that I've installed ADE.
Quite likely a case of ADE getting things confused, and then giving a misleading error message.
Try clearing up any idea of activation your copy of ADE has. Keep the ereader disconnected for this.
Then start ADE and hit ctrl-shift-D (cmd-shift-D if a Mac) to forget authorization on ADE. Now restart ADE and reregister with your Adobe ID.
IF that works, then do similar with your device connected.
Then start ADE and hit ctrl-shift-E (cmd-shift-E if a Mac) to forget authorization on the device. Now restart ADE and reregister the device.

My mom and I have Apple devices (she has an iPhone 3G, and I have an iPod touch) .. I noticed that some of her apps require my password to my Apple ID and some of the other apps require her password for her Apple ID. When she first bought the phone, I used my Apple ID to download those apps since she was new to the Apple community. However, whenever she gets new updates, those apps still need my password (even though I've erased my account from her phone). Is there any possible way for her to update all of her apps using only one ID (hers) instead of using mine? It's very troublesome and I don't want to give her my password because she'll only end up losing it.

Note i just discovered something, when i forward my university email to my icloud account and than responded from either my imac of my macbook air (i.e. in icloud) it automatically goes to my university account in the "from" space (good news!!!). That is just what i wanted, . While that is the good news, the bad news is that my iphone and ipad still treat this email as being from icloud even though it is forwarded (redirected) from my university account. That is when i respond to an email (or for that matter create a new email in my icloud account) it automatically lists the icloud account as the "from" account and i have to go in and manually modify it. So i am 50% there to solving my problem (i.e. actually did nothing the systems just worked well) but i still need to figure out a way to make this happen on my ipad and iphone. Any help or suggestions, note the default button in the iphone and ipad for email work differently than the default in the composition menu of the imac or macair.

i just upgraded my iphone 3gs to ios 6 not sure if it updated but now when i turn on my phone it says automatically that i need to connect it to itunes using the USB port but when i connect it it comes up as new hardware and cannot find a program/software for my device even though i have the latest itunes on my computer. i have tried reinstalling itunes but it still cannot find my phone and now i cannot use my phone as it is stuck on the sync to itunes screen

I can not activate my ipod with my Apple ID, it tells me that my account can not activate this device, but my apple ID is OK.
The proposed me as ipod help entering previous credentials, but the ipod is mine from the beginning, in fact I have my ballot, not bought down to another user.
Actually I do not know how to activate it in Chile were unable Store MacOnline solve my problem, it is for this reason that I am writing to see if someone can help me.

I'm unable to add the email address for iMessage, that I was using before iOS 7 to my iPhone, because it says that it is "in use by another device," but I have no other devices. How do I resolve this so I can add this email address to my iPhone to send and recieve iMessages?
Sync your iPhone to iTunes, and see if that does the trick. Also you could try a Soft Reset with no Risk to Data. Holding down both the Sleep button and the Home button until the Apple logo appears and then waiting for the Reset to bring you iPhone back to the lock screen. Are you trying to add the email at Settings>Messages>Send and Receive from (2 Addresses) your iPhone number and your email address?

If you are seeing a Mailbox Locked alert, the following article will explain what is going on. Typically with certain type of emails, it is meant to be accessed one at a time. The article will give some suggestions on how to resolve the issue.

Cannot get mail. Account in use on another device
AAll at once I receive the error message " cannot get mail. Account in use on another device" do you know how this can be as I have turned off all other devices that could have the account open.

Just to be sure, change the password to your E-Mail account. After a few days you can change it back if the problem doesn't go away.

Rented movie error that movie has been copied to another device
I rented a movie tonight and tried to copy it to my Nano, but receive error that movie has been copied to another device, but this is not possible as i only have my computer and ipod. help!
For borrowed do you mean rented? The exact error message helps others to help you.
Rented movies can only be on one device or computer at a time, expire if not watched within 30 days and once you begin watching expire within 24 hours (US) or 48 hours elsewhere. If there has been a problem transferring the content then you might want to use the report a problem links in your account history to contact the iTunes Store support team.

I have a couple of suggestions for you to attempt to resolve this issue. First, I would try re-creating your iTunes library following the instructions listed here:

Itunes says cannot open because it is open on another device

After official upgrade to 10.2.1 get message that media card is encrypted on another device

I got a message a few hours ago that there is an update available to my Z10 STL100-1, running on Orange.
I never did a leaked update always waited to get the notification for the official ones.
I have always had my media card (micros sd) encrypted from the beginning and ran through at least 2-3 updates untill now.
After todays update to 10.2.1.537 was finished and rebooted, I got the message that my media card was encrypted in another device and in order to use it I have to go to settings and wipe/format it.
I tried copying the files to PC but they will not open.
Please help, I have some very important photos and files on that card that I need to get back.
How could they do this to me ?It's not personal.

Sign out of the Apple ID on the apple TV and have the new operator sign in with their Apple ID.

i preordered an album with two songs released on the album already. I downloaded the preordered album on my device from another account who purchased the album. Now, I don't know whether it's going to charge me any money, or that it's not going to download the music on the album when it comes out at all. I'm afraid its not going to download the songs. I used my mothers account to buy the album, having permission, then I put the album she bought on my phone. Will it download the songs when released?
You downloaded the two songs by signing on your Mom's Apple ID into your iTunes & App Store on your device?
If so, then you would have to sign her ID back onto your iTunes & App Store to download the rest of the album.
We need a little more information about how you actually did this in order to help.
