ADE wont recognize Pandigital Nova

Ive followed all of the other posts that have anything to do with ADE not recognizing an ereader...I have reinstalled; I have registered my product with Pandigital; I have double (quadruple-checked) the sequencing with my USB. My computer assigns a drive to my reader and still, no recognition from ADE. Please help.

The PanDigital Novel and ADE have always been compatible; however, as PD as a hardware company essentially dissolved earlier this year, it's highly unlikely that you will find support for technical issues outside of forums such as this.
Troubleshooting connectivity issues is fairly straightfoward, but it needs to be reitrated that ADE AND THE PD NOVEL ARE COMPATIBLE.
The same steps used to connect devices such as the non-HD NOOKs, Kobo, Literati, etc. can be effectively used to connect to the PD Novel. This was the case with ADE 1.7.2 and continues on wth ADE 2.0.

Have you looked at the Knowledge Base article [[Problems using Facebook in Firefox]]? There is a lot of good troubleshooting information in there. Please be sure to try all of the suggested steps. Each one is valuable and may be the answer to your issue.

Alright, Im not an idiot and I read every post related to this subject. I reviewed each of the following links and did everything they told me to do:

I recently upgraded to the newest iTunes version and now my older Ipod is no longer recognized by my computer. iTunes doesnt open, it just gives me an error message in the bottom right corner saying Unknown Device. Ive tried looking for / updating drivers, reseting, everything and nothing works. I tried every USB port on my laptop as well. Running Win XP. Can anyone offer any other suggestions on how i can fix this???

Its been working perfectly for 4 years until last week. I have the USB/FireWire combo for hooking it up to my computer. It worked with all the older version of iTunes and now that 7.1.1 is on there, it wont recognize it at all. The computer is convinced there are no drivers for the "unknown device" and all searches performed for the missing drivers come up empty. The computer cannot see the iPod as an iPod, and none of this happened until I downloaded the most recent iTunes.

Windows Wont Recognize

I'm updating my Dads iPod for him and for the first time ever, Windows/iTunes wont recognize it.
On the iPods display screen it says do not dissconnect so its not my USB ports nor the cable. Any ideas?

Same problem. I can see the itunes store so not a problem with windows firewall. The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

While you're in itunes, with the leftside window open, click on Apps. Then, look across the top middle of your itunes screen. You will see several choices: All, Iphone/iPad Touch, Ipad, Ipod Games, List, and Updates.
Clicking on each of these gives you a different view.
When you select ALL you will see all of your apps. When you select Updates you sill see only the apps that need to be updated. When you are in Updates you will see the Update button in the lower right corner.

Macbook pro hard drive woes (original failed, new one wont recognize)

So my hard drive recently messed up pretty hard a couple of months ago. I havea mac book pro that was purchased around fall... 20...10? 2011? I'm actually not sure. Anyway, I started it up from the boot disk to wipe it and reinstall everything. Turns out the disk utility said there were bad sectors and needed repair. So I attempted repair, and it said it worked but then I rescanned and it said it needed repair... anyway after about 5 hours of doing all this stuff I said screw it and busted out my external hard drive. I successfully got to install and boot from that. Anyway, I recently got my hands on a 320 gb hitachi hard drive that I plugged in but it wont recognize it in the disk utility, at all. I have no idea why it wont. I know the cable is fine because it shows my other original failing hard drive.
So what do I do? There are no close apple stores or anything and I have pretty much no more money to send it out or anything like that. I just need it to recognize my new hard drive in disk utility.

u can give try to using external enclosre and backup ur files. I hope u will get files back. or using external enclosre with ur hdd boot into Linux and try to mount ur harddisk.
there are multiple no of tutorial to mount apple partion in Linux.
