ADF Application + OAS 10.1.3, how many OC4J and JVM ?

Hi all,
We are running in Production with ADF (BC+Faces) 10.1.3 in OAS 10.1.3, with maximum 300++ users.
(but not nessarily all submit request on same time)
Intermittently (about two times) a week, there is time where user get hung and all request take forever to get responded.
We watch during that time that DB load is not high, and OAS CPU 99.9 %. We have 12 GB RAM installed on OAS.
Then user have to restat the OPMN to make system responsive again.
Currently we run on one OC4J instance with 1 JVM, with 3GB heap.
My question is :
1) Will it help if we add 1 more JVM to the OC4J ?
2) WIll it affect the Application behaviour ? (if running in 2 JVM compared to in 1 JVM like now) ?

yes you will need to retest it.
Why?
Because it is highly possible session will be 'transported' between JVM's
There is a chance your application will not deploy/start at all on distributed JVM's, this because ALL objects stored on the session need to be serializable.
When this is the case, the application will deploy/start on multiple JVM's
But this doesn't resolve issues around developers who put random stuff in the session which is a bad practice in general.
Session behavior will need to be tested.

see you have to come into an agreement with other system before starting development..
Please dont do unnecessary coding for impractical things ..you may solve this but this is not good way of working in eRP packages..
Al least u can get final list of all Columns and which can be blank or non blank like this
then u can do coding for this scenerio

Are we limited to just 2, or can we have more?

VPC does not run on Intel Macs. If you wish to use virtualization on an Intel Mac see this:

There are presently several alternatives for running Windows on Intel Macs.
1. Install the Apple Boot Camp software. Purchase Windows XP w/Service Pak 2 or Vista. Follow instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and installing Windows. Boot Camp enables you to boot the computer into OS X or Windows.
2. Parallels Desktop for Mac and Windows XP, Vista Business, or Vista Ultimate. Parallels is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
3. VM Fusionand Windows XP, Vista Business, or Vista Ultimate. VM Fusion is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
4. CrossOver which enables running many Windows applications without having to install Windows. The Windows applications can run concurrently with OS X.
5. VirtualBox is a new Open Source freeware virtual machine such as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris. It is not yet fully developed for the Mac - some features are not yet implemented - but it does work otherwise.
6. Last is Q. Q is a freeware emulator that is compatible with Intel Macs. It is much slower than the virtualization software, Parallels and VM Fusion.
Note that Parallels and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc. There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization. The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system.

Boot Camp is only available with Leopard. The Boot Camp Beta that was used with Tiger has expired and is no longer available for use. So contrary to the other poster's comment, Boot Camp isn't truly "free." You must purchase Leopard to get it.
You can upgrade XP to Vista without having to make any changes to the Boot Camp partition. Vista can either perform an upgrade install or erase the Windows volume before installing Vista. You don't need to do anything to change the partition via Boot Camp. However, if you need to enlarge the partition, then the only way that can be done is to first use Boot Camp to remove the partition. Then use Boot Camp to make a new, larger partition. All data from the Windows partition will be lost.

Error message when trying to play music on computer states The song ... could not be used because the original file could not be found. However, my library shows how many items and the GBs used. How do I locate the files?

When I try to play my iTunes music on my computer, an error message comes up and state "The song (title of song) could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?
When I click on Locate It, I cannot find where the music file may be located. Does anyone have any suggestions?
This all occurred when I attempted to do a backup to an external hard drive. Unbeknownest to me, the files did not copy over and do not appear on the external hard drive.
When I open my iTunes library, at the bottom of my music list it shows how many songs and the GBs, so it appears that the files are still there; however, cannot be located.

When tracks in iTunes display a it means the file cannot be located; it may have been moved or deleted. You'll have to locate the file manually if it is still available. For more information refer to the following article:

To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
In the Dialog box that comes up, choose Sound to AIFF, or one of the other sound options. This will create a file that you can drag into iTubes.

Hopefully you left Apple your contact info (name phone #, email address).
Apple would simply pass your contact to the last registered owner. It would be up to the owner to contact you. As Dave mentioned, Apple will not give you any info (except may to tell you it was or was not registered, but not to who). Turn it on once in a while and maybe they have activated FindMyiPad and a message will pop up (don't need to be logged onto the iPad to a message).

Your question may be better placed in the "Producing Podcasts" forum instead of here in iTunes for Windows.
I assume though (I don't produce Podcasts), that the host server (where the Podcast is downloaded from) has the option of providing that information to the Podcast's producers.
Two points though;
That information is likely to only be available to the producers of that Podcast, not to listeners (or competitors)
It's almost certainly an add-on service, that needs to be paid for, in addition to the hosting service.
If it's your Podcast, check with the host service that you use.

All of my testing indicates that there is not a 64-bit ASIO driver for Vista, but they will not confirm or deny.

I assume, they lied when they wrote this. There are several walkarounds for XFI cards
with beta drivers. In releas drivers they exclude the ASIOx64, but in beta it's included!
Creative has a very awkward marketing strategy. This was with Vista not having EAX on Audigy as
the said it is impossible. The newer X-FI was able to?do it and after a few weeks the Audigy also could-
after paying for it. The same with DolbyDigital Li've... and now with x64 ASIO. They reduce features
in cases the cheaper card had same possibilities as the more expensi've EMUs...
Shame on them. I?baught a creative Card for the 4th time (SB, SB AWE32,Audigy2, and now Titanium).

First, see if your system can run Lion:

If you have any PPC apps, none of them will work under Lion.
If you meet the requirements for Lion, you can go to Snow Leopard(US $29), then update to 10.6.8, then update to Lion(US $29).
Apple says 2GB's of memory minimum. I wouldn't update to Lion unless you can run at least 4GB's.

An eSATA or Thunderbolt hard drive would probably be at least faster than the internal drive, and an external SSD may be cheaper than an internal for your notebook, and even faster.

Because if we define more conditions on one keyfigure with respective to different chars,there might be some overlap among the conditons andconditions might not work.

In Query we can no limit for creating Condition & Exception
but Creating Condition : You can create two condition in a single condition it's work 'OR' Condition.
You can build different condition it will work "AND' Condition.

I have Final Cut Pro 5 on my Mac G5. We currently bought a new imac. Will I be able to download FCP5 software disk onto the new imac or will I have to repurchase the program again? Isn't it a software rule that you are able to download programs to at least two computers?

FCP 4.5 and FCP 5.0 allowed installation on one machine at a time.
FCP 5.1 is one desktop + one laptop as long as: 1) both machines are owned by the license holder and 2) the machines are not used at the same time.

Actually that is not quite true. Bluetooth is limited to one connection per device profile. That is to say you cannot have two bluetooth headsets actively connected at the same time, but you could have a bluetooth headset and a heart rate monitor, as the hrt monitor and the headset would be using different profiles.

lol, theres 4 i believe, that come standard with java. Only problem is, you can't use them all. The Windows one can only be used on windows, the mac on mac. Metal is the default, and theres Motif. So technically, depending on your OS, thers 2 or 3. You can also download Look and Feels, theres tons out there, most want you to pay however. You can also write your own.
