Hi All,
can anyone share any link about ADF-BC Adapter configuration?
what is "RegistryName" in ADF-BC Adapter?
Any suggestion would be helpful to me.

    Hello friends,
    How can I perform CrUD operations by using ADF-BC Adapter. I tried it and created the Model Application of ADF-BC but don't know how to deploy it on web logic to get it's WSDL location which will later used in ADF-BC Web service?
    I am assuming that after creating ADF-BC Model it will be deployed on Web Logic Server before creation of Composite (with ADF-BC Adapter). Please clarify and share any tutorial.

  • ADFS MFA Adapter fails when installed manually

    Dear experts,
    When following the article on http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn807157.aspx, my ADFS service cannot load the WindowsAzureMultiFactorAuthentication provider, eventid 105.
    I used the 'Install the AD FS Adapter standalone using the Web Service SDK', with the edited config file using a username and password. When browsing to the SDK folder on my MFA server using IE from the ADFS server, I can login and use all SDK services normally
    but ADFS fails. Installing MFA locally on the ADFS server fixes the issue, but manual configuration should be possbile according to the technet article.
    Also, there is an error in the technet document, it says to
    Run the MultiFactorAuthenticationUserPortalSetup64.msi
    But this should of course be the adapter MSI file.
    Is there a fix?
    Sincerely,
    Jos

    Thanks for the note on the typo. We'll fix the documentation on MSDN and the MFA Server help file.
    For those having issues getting the adapter to work, we have had a couple of support cases escalated recently that both turned out to be typos in the config file. The registration script needs to have the correct path to the config file, and the config file
    should look something like this:
    <ConfigurationData xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
        <UseWebServiceSdk>true</UseWebServiceSdk>
        <WebServiceSdkUrl>https://server.domain.com/MultiFactorAuthWebServiceSdk/PfWsSdk.asmx</WebServiceSdkUrl>
        <WebServiceSdkUsername>domain\username</WebServiceSdkUsername>
        <WebServiceSdkPassword>password</WebServiceSdkPassword>
        <WebServiceSdkCertificateThumbprint></WebServiceSdkCertificateThumbprint>
    </ConfigurationData>
    From the ADFS server, you can copy the WebServiceSdkUrl into a web browser. You should be prompted for a username/password. Enter or copy/paste what you have in the config file. it should display the web service operations without any certificate warnings.
    If there are warnings, you may have to import the certificate into the Trusted Root Certificate store so that the ADFS server trusts it.

    What tool do you use to generate the TLD documentation for ADF Faces? I like the way the Faces are documented as a table as well as the tag's attributes. Would it be possible to open-source that generator or make it available?

  • Documentation guide for CCIE exam

    Hi All,
    I've decided to go through CCIE certification, but I would like to know the following:-
    1- Should I have to be CCNP/CCIP/CCDP or CCSP certified.
    2- Could u show me helpfull links that could help.
    3- What is the latest version (books) numbers & names off CCIE (Routing & Switching) written/Lab exams?
    4- Is there any special techniques to pass the exams? Is it difficult to pass both exams? and what is much difficult: the written exam or Lab exam?
    One more thing, If I pass the written exam,then I will be having CCIE number and certified without going through the lab test?
    Appreciate ur help & Feedback,

    1. There are no pre-requisites at all (except for a lot of study !)
    2. I would start with http://www.cisco.com/go/ccie
    3. A recommended reading list is located here:
    http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/ccie/rs/book_list.html
    4. Plenty of study/practice. Neither exam is easy to pass. It's not easy to compare the two exams since they address different things and it depends on your skill set as to which you find more difficult.
    Passing the written exam does not give you any recognition at all, except the ability to sit for the lab exam. You get no CCIE number at all and you cannot call yourself a CCIE of any sort after having passed just the written exam.
    Pls do remember to rate posts.

  • Is there a way to create ADF Table using a bean

    Hi,
    I am using JDev 11g 11.1.1.2.0.
    I am reading an excel sheet and want to generate an ADF table using the same. I already have hold on excel data.
    But when I go through the RichTable API, I find that there is no method to add Columns and Rows. Most or all the methods work on the table UI Looks attribute.
    Any suggestion? Am I missing a method OR 2 here?
    Pls note: The excel (CSV file) using which I am populating my table, will vary for different user. i.e.
    say user 1 will upload a CSV file with 7cols and 100 rows while
    user 2 will upload the CSV file that has 2 cols and 100 rows.
    Hope this makes it clear of my requirements and why I want to populate the table from a bean.
    Thanks in advance.

    You should extensively practice the samples given in Oracle's documentation guide for modelling Native XSD. That will give you a better idea, about how to go about the native xsd schemas.. Anyways, I looked into your schema.. You need to make 2 changes to make this xsd work..
    (1) Change "xsd:choice" tags to "xsd:sequence".
    (2) Include a closing tag of "xsd:schema" to make the xsd well-formed.

  • Multiple endpoints for HTTP adapter (OracleAS 10g - 10.1.2)

    The HTTP adapter documentation states the HTTP adapter supports sending outgoing messages for Interconnect to multiple HTTP endpoints. This enables sending messages to various remote web servers.
    The HTTP user guide states:
    "An endpoint is associated with a subscribing event in iStudio by adding the transport properties such as the HTTP endpoint as metadata for the event. This is done using the Modify Fields function of the Subscribe Wizard - Define Application View dialog. After associating an endpoint and event, the message from the subscribing event is sent to the HTTP endpoint.
    When using the multiple endpoint feature with XML data type, use the Generic event type, instead of XML. Using the Generic event type allows you to enter the metadata for the endpoints using the Modify Fields feature associated with iStudio.
    When invoking this through iStudio, the screen allows you a name/value pair and I have entered 'multipleEP' for the name & 'http://....servlet' for the value. Is this the correct way? For an additional endpoint I assume I add another name/value pair in a similar way to above, can someone confirm this method?
    Some confirmation or additional HOWTO documentation on this facility would be appreciated.
    Regards,
    David

    I've done a bit of testing and this is what I found. Feel free to expand as you see fit.
    Using the Modify Fields feature allows you to enter name/value pairs. I found that you enter the metadata parameter in the name, and the metadata value in the value. For example:
    Name - ota.endpoint, Value - createMemoEP (appears to arbitrary but my example is related to event crateMemo)
    Name - ota.send.endpoint, Value - http://..../servlet/yourServlet
    The data gets saved in table EMDDATALET and when used by the adapter, the above information overrides the metadata from the adapter.ini file.
    Hopes this helps anyone who wants to use this facility.
    David

  • Adapter configuration & load balancing

    Hi,
    I posted questions for my requirements on Adapter forum but did not get any answer.
    Hope this forum can help.
    We started a POc with Oracle As adapters for EBS. As part of that we are trying following taks,
    1) Connect to multiple EBS instances & deploy individual adapter for same on AS
    2) Use these two instances for loadbalancing & scalaing
    I am not bale to find information about above two in Oracle Adapter documentation.
    I could build sample EBs adpater scenario with concurrent programs and use a default APPS adapter deployed on AS server by modifying oc4j-ra.xml. But failed to delpoy multiple instances that can be viwed from Enterprise Manager.
    Also how to configure my adapters for better load balancing and sclaling. Is there any doc link that i can read?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Custom Adapter for Inbound Operations never invoked

    Hi,
    I created a custom J2CA Resource Adapter for Inbound operations. I implemented javax.resource.spi.ResourceAdapter interface with all required methods - start(BootstrapContext), endpointActivation(MessageEndpointFactory, ActivationSpec), etc.
    I created the appropriate WSDL file according Adapter Development Cookbook. Below is an excerpt from it:
    <definitions targetNamespace="urn:Adapter" .......>
      <message name="Notification">
        <part name="Notification_Part" element="ns1:Svc"/>
      </message>
      <message name="Header">
        <part name="Header_Part" element="ServiceHeader"/>
      </message>
      <portType name="EventsQueue_ptt">
        <operation name="Dequeue">
          <input message="tns:Notification"/>
        </operation>
      </portType>
      <binding name="NotificationService" type="tns:EventsQueue_ptt">
        <jca:binding/>
        <operation name="Dequeue">
          <jca:operation ActivationSpec="acme.ActivationSpec"/>
          <input>
            <jca:header message="tns:Header" part="Header_Part"/>
          </input>
        </operation>
      </binding>
      <service name="EventsQueue">
        <port name="EventsQueue_pt" binding="tns:NotificationService">
          <jca:address ResourceAdapter="acme.AdapterClass"/>
        </port>
      </service>
    </definitions>I created a BPEL process with a partner link based on this WSDL and linked a Receive activity with it. According Adapter Concepts Guide here is what should happen when the BPEL process is deployed and started:
    - The ResourceAdapter class name and the ActivationSpec parameter are captured in the WSDL extension section of the J2CA inbound interaction WSDL Adapter Integration with BPEL Process Manager Adapter Integration with Oracle Application Server Components 5-7 during design time and made available to BPEL Process Manager and Adapter Framework during run time.
    - An instance of the J2CA 1.5 ResourceAdapter class is created and the Start method of the J2CA ResourceAdapter class is called.
    - Each inbound interaction operation referenced by the BPEL Process Manager processes results in invoking the EndPointActivation method of the J2CA 1.5 ResourceAdapter instance. Adapter Framework creates the ActivationSpec class (Java Bean) based on the ActivationSpec details present in the WSDL extension section of the J2CA inbound interaction and activates the endpoint of the J2CA 1.5 resource adapter.
    The problem is that start(BootstrapContext) and endpointActivation(MessageEndpointFactory, ActivationSpec) seem never to be invoked, the adapter is never initialized and at some point the Receive activity of the BPEL process times-out.
    I put some debug System.out.println statements in these methods, but nothing appeared in the server log.
    I'm using Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.
    I will be grateful for any suggestions.

    Simeon

  • ADF Mobile Client : Error while trying to import javax.microedition.*

    Hi,
    JDev throws errors at compile time when I try to deploy a sample ADF Mobile Client application.
    These errors are related to javax.microedition.io.* imports.
    Error(11,29): package javax.microedition.io does not exist
    Error(12,29): package javax.microedition.io does not exist

    Error(191,42): cannot find variable Connector
    Error(250,49): inconvertible types
    Error(303,40): cannot find variable HttpConnection
    Any pointers as to how these errors could be resolved?
    Is there a JDev Wireless extension that should be installed to resolve these J2ME related errors?
    For JDev 10g, I could locate one such extension called JWE here : http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/iaswe/archive/developer/index.html
    I could not find any similar extension for JDeveloper 11.1.3.
    Regards,
    Prasad.

    Hi, just want to make sure - did you install the ADF MObile Client extension yet? Please go to JDev-Help-Check for Updates-Official Oracle Extensions and Updates, and find Oracle ADF MObile Client Extension in the list. Check it, download it, and then restart JDev. Sounds like the extension was not installed, so it's not able to load any J2ME libraries.
    If you have downloaded the extension already, please go to project properties-libraries and classpath, and then see if the sample app is referencing some third party libraries, for example something from RIM. If so, please double check the path to the library.
    Once you installed the extension, you can also access the ADF Mobile Client developer guide - it contains all the documentation around what you need to install first. Please take a look and see what you need to install - at a minimum, you need to install BlackBerry JDE if you want to deploy to BlackBerry, and Windows Mobile Emulator if you want to test the app on Windows Mobile. Lastly, if you need to synchronize data, then you also need Oracle Database Lite MObile Server installation.
    Thanks,

    Hello,
    I need a help.
    We have a customized project of HPQC here and we need to replicate the business blueprint from Solman to HPQC requeriments module.
    We perform the step-by-step of the HP SAP Adapter installation guide and the connection was performed succesfully.
    I can synchronize the business blueprint with the requirements of HPQC - in other hand, the interface only creates the folders of blueprint nodes on HPQC and don't creates the business requeriment(documentation on SOLMAN) neither the test requirement (transactions code on SOLMAN). Please look at the picture below:
    Can you help me with this issue guys?
