ADF Not Working HP Officejet 7610

When trying to scan or copy multiple pages it only signals the glass to copy or scan.
Went through all troubleshooting found here

It does the make the beep noise so it's reading that the pages are loaded but still tries to scan from the glass.
Nothing worked. Still cannot scan or copy from the ADF.
This is a replacement printer to one that had an ink system error. I'd hate to have to call HP, go through all the steps I've already gone through twice, wait for a new printer and return the old one again.

I see that your ADF is not working with your HP Officejet 7610 printer. I am sorry to hear this, but happy to help!
Three more suggestions to try:
Make sure the printer's power cable is plugged directly into the wall outlet, and not a surge protector. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
Firmware update. Getting Printer Updates for HP Officejet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-One Printer Series.

the information that is missing in your question is "what release of Oracle JDeveloper" we are talking about. If you look at the new feature list for JDeveloper 11.1.2 then you see that @import is supported in that release (previously this has been filed as bug 10066954 that is fixed in the 11.1.2 release)

It sounds like a hardware issue with the printer.

ADF not working in brand new LaserJet Pro MFP M127-M128

We recently purchased a LasertJet Pro M127-M128. The ADF does not work consistently. It automatically prompts to glass feed. When we change scan feeder and insert the document to the scanner we get an error report "ADF does not contain any pages. Insert the pages and rescan." There are already pages in the scanner. This is very frustrating. I do not want to return this device but if we can't solve the problem we have no choice. Thank you!

I would like to work with you today with resolving the automatic document feeder issues that you're experiencing on your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw. By the sounds of what you're describing, it does sound like you're experiencing a paper sensor issue with the automatic document feeder. To confirm this, can you remove all the paper from your automatic document feeder and with the printer at its normal screen insert 1 sheet into the feeder. The printer should make a 'ding' noise or display 'original' or 'document loaded' on the screen of the printer. Should none of these things happen than the paper sensor is not 'seeing' pages in the feeder and will not attempt to feed anything. I'm going to provide some troubleshooting steps to resolve this automatic document feeder issue. First, can you please run through the following HP Support document. The document does indicate the it is for a Paper Jam error, which I know you're not experiencing. However, it is always a good idea to check the automatic document feeder for any packaging debris or paper. 'Original Jam: Clear jam, and then press OK' Once you check the automatic document feeder for debris and ensure that nothing is stuck in the mechanism, proceed with the next steps. Clean the pickup rollers and separation pad in the document feeder:
1. Lift the document-feeder input tray. 2. Use a moist, lint-free cloth to wipe both pickup rollers and the separation pad to remove dirt. CAUTION: Do not use abrasives, acetone, benzene, ammonia, ethyl alcohol, or carbon tetrachloride on any part of the product; these can damage the product. Do not place liquids directly on the glass or platen. They might seep and damage the product. 3. Once dry, close the document-feeder input tray. Load 1 piece of paper in the automatic document feeder. Ensure the paper guides are adjusted and the feeder lid is closed tight. Does the product detect paper loaded now? If the printer still fails to recognize paper as loaded in the feeder a reset may be needed. Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. Best of luck!

Scanner not working hp officejet 6700

I have an Officejet 6700 Premium Printer.. When I hit scan to computer, it says no computer found. I connected the printer to the computer with a USB cable and hit scan but window says waiting for scanner.. Printer works wirelessly w/ computer but is sporadic and sometimes have to restart printer to get it to connect wirelessly to computer.. tried to download software from hp but cant open the dmg file in my download file. Error message says Officejet series 6700 image not recognized.

I see that you are having an issue with scanning to the computer.
I also see that you had the printer connected on a wireless network and then attempted to scan over USB. When the connection is changed from wireless to USB without adjusting the software, this can cause communication issues.
I have a few steps that we can run through to troubleshoot the issue.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
I also suggest that we remove the usb cable from the printer and the computer and leave it off.

PageFlowScope in ADF not working properly

i am working on oracle JDeveloper 11g and try to consume a remote WSDL service, i have created an adf readonly table with the binding of datacontrol's method it is working fine..
now i want to pass the selected row value on the next page where i will show the form to update the selected row's records.
for this i am using setpropertyListener on the button of table page (.jspx page)
and on next page(also .jspx page) i have set the selected row value in pageFlowScope.result
when i am trying to get the value of "pageFlowScope.result" it shows the value like-

ADF binding ? No, you can't. To use ADF bindings you read values from a business services through a Data Control. The PageFlowScope is a memory scope of the task flows. You access it from Java or EL. However, in your case - as it seems - the memory scope contains structured data and no data objects.
There is not much I can do for you other than recommending to complete one of the tutorials we have on otn.oracle.com/products/jdev

ADF is not working in JDeveloper 10g

Hi all,

the only thing that i fail to follow is in creating the library. I have only the adf-faces-api.jar and adf-faces-impl.jar but not the share-1_1_18.jar
I do not know whether this is creating the problem as my error message is not helpful.

Now that I've looked at the linked article...
That was showing you how to use a very early version of ADF Faces (a pre-release, in fact) with a very old version of JDeveloper. That document is nearly 9 years old.
Starting with JDeveloper 10.1.3, ADF Faces is "built-in"
And since JDeveloper 10.1.3.x, we have had both the JDeveloper 11.1.1.x and 11.1.2.x series released.
Why are you still using 10.1.2.x?

JDev 11.1.1.5.3 sounds like you are using oracle apps as this not a normal jdev version.
as it works in 11.1.1.5.0 you probably hit a bug which you should file with support.oracle.com...
Somehow you get the first row instead of the current row (i guess). You should debug your code and make sure you get the current selected row in your bean code and not the first row.
This might be a problem with the bean scope too. Do you have the button (or table) inside a region? Wich scope does the bean have?
Anyway you can try to remove the iterator row you get

HP Officejet Pro L7590 Printer - HP Solution Center does not work

I am not able to get the Solution Center suite to work because the installation has an error. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. The printer I am installing is the HP Officejet Pro L7590.
If I go to Devices and Printers and add the printer. The driver Windows 7 driver would work, it would detect the printer and the test page and everything would be fine.
However, if I install using the software provided by HP for the L7590 it would result in an error and it would not work.
The failed driver installation is only from installing the full bundle software provided by HP, if by itself through Windows 7 it would be fine.
Because of the failed installation using HP software the HP solution center does not work.
In Devices and Printers, the printer has the yellow exclamation point requiring troubleshooting, I click on troubleshoot and no device drivers were found. In addition, I could not remove the printer. Before installing the HP software, I could successfully install the printer and there would be a green checkmark, and there would be an option to remove the printer. This leads me to believe HP has a faulty software bug that is causing the error.
I am suppose to use the HP add a printer shortcut that populated on my desktop after installing the software, the first time it would show the failure to successfully install the driver, afterwards it would not even detect my printer if it is plugged in. If I remove the usb and reinsert it, the Windows would just show the failed driver. I repeat, it failed after I install the software, it works fine without. The primary reason I want the software is to use the scanning feature.

I see you are having software installation issues. i would like to try and assist you.
I would suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration. You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would reinstalling the HP Officejet Pro Full Feature Software and Driver.

HP OfficeJet Pro X576dw Scan to Computer function not working.

I wonder if anyone can help me. I recently setup a new HP OfficeJet Pro X576dw on network and most printer features work fine with the exception of the "Scan to Computer" feature that is not working for one specific Mac running OS X 10.9.4.
The "Scan to Computer" (as the name suggests) allows you to scan a document at the printer and send the scanned document to a specific computer on your network. This feature requires that the client computer is Enabled for "Scan to Computer" which is done via HP Utility application (Mac HD > Library > Printers > hp > Utilities) and works on a client Mac we have running Mac OS X 10.8.5 but not Mac OS X 10.9.4, you cannot tick the Enable tickbox on the latter Mac OS X 10.9.4.
Orginally I never installed an software that can with the printer on CD or Download and simply used the built-in Mac OS X drivers for this printer which have worked fine. I have since downloaded and installed the latest driver software but the enabling of "Scan to Computer" is still not a tickable option on the client computer running Mac OS X 10.9.4. Any ideas?

ADF JS not working in certain browser setting

ADF javascript is not working in certain browser / machine. When investigated, we found the below forum link and after resetting / changing the language preference and reopen the browser, it started working.

im using Jdev 11G.
i have developed an ADF application which has 7 pages.
one of the page has link to OAF page.
when i click on the link its working fine in one instance when we moved to other instance its not working.
when i click on OAF link from ADF page it shows me the below error:
" You are trying to access a page that is no longer active.
- You may have attempted to access to this page directly by bookmarking the page or copying the URL. This page does not support bookmarking.
- The referring page may have come from a previous session. Please select Home to proceed. "
Please help me to get out of this.

It seems that your OAF linked page is requiring a session - or at minimum a user that is logged in. I'd check to see if your link is correct, then check to see if any single sign on operations are also working. (i.e. it doesn't appear that you are linking to a public page - or have an active session - on your second instance. If your user should be able to see the OAF page without logging in, I'd also check the EBS responsibilties that you have set up for that particular page access.)

Unfortunately, I discovered the Wireless network capability is less than desirable. After hours of installing, reinstalling, work arounds, internet solution searches, it just will not work. If you are able to get the printer to work on your network (with router), the scanner will not be visible, vice versa, etc...etc...etc...
HOWEVER, I did discover this solution. If the unit is near your base computer, install it to your computer with a usb connection. That allows you to have scanning and printing from that unit. Then you can connect the unit through its ethernet connection to your router. From there all computers can print within your network. It's not the best way to connect a WIRELESS printer, but at least it works.
I'm not certain why HP and Apple can't find a solution, but I never found anything on the net that worked. The problem seems to stem from the new Mavericks update from Apple, but I'm really not sure. I wasted an entire day of productivity attempting to make it work. I'm posting this so you don't make the same mistake. If you happen to know a verified solution, then I would welcome the information. Best of luck!!!

It may be a mac driver issue. Try installing the bootcamp update for your version of vista from here:

I created 2 JSF pages using ADF.
1) ListUsers.jspx - Lists all the users of type Employee and Manager in a table. You can select an user and chose to modify the user details using a modify button.
2) ModifyUser.jspx - Modify the selected user and persist the modified user details.
I implemented ListUsers.jspx by dragging and dropping queryUserFindAll() method from the ADF datacontrol on to the JSF page and selected ADF Table format with selection enabled.
Similarly for the ModifyUser.jspx page I dragged and dropped the User object returned by findUserByUserId(String userId) and selected ADF Form format. I selected OutputText field types for userId and userName.
I then created a navigation case from ListUsers.jspx to ModifyUser.jspx and pass the selected user.
Now when I try to run the web application, ListUsers.jspx correctly displays all the users. Then I select a user of type Employee and click on the modify button. This brings up the ModifyUser.jspx page. However, the UserId text field displays the value for "Id" field rather than "userId".
Question that I have is:
- Why is ADF framework not able to retrieve the appropriate user attribute value for a Employee based on the binding information in case of inheritance ?

tried with JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 and this works for me. Try JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 - if it doesn't work, have a closer look at your sessionFacade
