Adium won't pick up MSN

So for about 2 weeks I've been unable to get on MSN:mac or use my msn account on Adium. It is continuously saying that I'm not connected to the internet or the service is unavailable.
I have gone into System Preferences>Network and allowed incoming connections for Adium as well as MSN.
Still no luck.
I also uninstalled Peer Guardian.
I've tried everything I can think of.
I'm still new to my mac, so perhaps there is still something that is blocking msn connections. I'm not totally sure.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried connecting while using a different internet connection, such as wifi at a school?

Push the headphone jack all the way in, you don't have it fully plugged in yet.

L7680 All-in-one, won't pick up paper and print when sending MS word Document to printer

This printer has worked great for over 2 years. If I do a print test page it works fine. It prints out a fax confirmation page fine. When I send a document from MS word to printer I can hear it trying but it won't pick up paper. Says empty, add paper yet there is paper in bed. I have done all the tests suggested by HP. partial reset, tried reloading software, cleaning, adjusting, etc. Any Ideas would be appreciated

From your post, you indicated "cleaning"... have you cleaned the rollers as described in step 4 of this document?
Printer doesn't pick up paper
Paper fiber "build up" occurs on older printers and rollers occasionally need cleaned.

You need to slide the slider to the right of the lockscreen, just as if you were unlocking an iPhone, to answer the call.

If it's grayed out:
Reset Network Settings - if that doesn't fix it, then Backup and Restore AS A NEW DEVICE.
If it's still grayed out, unfortunately that means your Wi-Fi antenna quit, and it needs service.

C4795 won't pick up a page of paper

Hi;
Bought a new C4795 printer a little more than a ytear ago.
It worked fine for the first four months that we had it.
We went on an 8-month trip and the printer was turned off and resting.
When we came back, the printer would not (and still won't) pick up a piece of paper, even when there is plenty to grab.
Of course, the warranty was expired by just barely one month, and I can't get HP to answer any questions.
What can I try (or do) that might get this great printer back in operation?
Same thing happens whether I try to printer from wifgi, or copy directly from printer.
Sure would appreciate some advice.

Hi - Try following the steps in this document. In many cases, it is just a buildup of dust that causes the rollers to slip when trying to pick the paper. One of the steps in the document will walk you through cleaning the rollers, but I'd follow all of the steps to be safe.

Got a headset yesterday and my pc does not pick up my voice or anything from my mic.
So to give whatever more detail I can, I got my new headset yesterday, (Logitech G230 Gaming Headset) and I was trying to set up the mic on it but my PC won't pick up any sound from it. I've made the External Mic in my sound settings the default device and have tried configuring it as you would normally but nothing works. I would be very greatful to know a solution or if I'm just out of luck with this one.

Welcome to the group; this seems to be a common problem with the HP/MICROSOFT pc's. No one seems to have an answer.
My HP "x2-k010nr" has the same problem and I only got to use it for a few days trying to learn Win 8.1. I got the HP because it is the same size as my xp Gateway netbook which I have been using for 9 yrs. About a month ago the audio somehow got corrupted with the message "no audio device install" and the device was "MODEM #0 PLAYBACK". The audio devices were "realtec" and worked great for 9 years. I thought the HP with Win 8.1 was the way to go ,however, I'm now having second thoughts. The laptop is now with HP customer service somewhere in the U.S and will arrive at the service depot Nov 25 just before Thanksgiving sure hope they don't deep fry that turkey!!!

I need a newer version of Itunes, but can't get most recent version as need newer OS x 10.5 apparently, but cant find any old OS or itunes. any advice? aside from get a new Mac...its on my list but have to be to put it on the back burner due to these dark days of austerity.

I can see your having a print quality issue with your HP OfficeJet 6310. I should be able to provide documentation that will help locate a resolution. You mentioned you have already tried another HP95 tri-color cartridge with no resolution. I also noticed you said that the quality report from the printer also has no color ink.
If a stand alone test report is performed from the front of the printer such a printhead cleaning or print quality report and there is no color on the page then you are likely looking at a hardware issue within the printer. I have provided a document regarding Missing, Faded, or Dull Colors on the HP Officejet 6310 All-in-One Printer. If you follow the document from start to finish and still have the same issue then I would recommend contacting our HP tech support via phone. They deal with hardware warranty and replacement options.

You can only Airdrop through iOS devices, you cannot bluetooth transfer using iOS devices, what are you really trying to do.?
Using Airdrop is very simple for that you need your blueetooth on and you have to be connected to the same wifi as the other person whom you are trying to connect your device to.

Hello Skype community! So I am having this REALLY strange problem. My Skype won't pick up any audio from my microphone unless something else is monitoring/using it. For instance, if I have my "Recording Devices" tab open under my sound settings, my microphone will work. Same for Sound Recorder. I can't figure out what's going on. I reinstalled drivers, I upgraded Skype, and I've plain turned my laptop off and on again. The same problem happens in the Skype app.
I'm running Windows 8.1, using the lastest version of Skype (7.5.0.102).
Anything else that uses my microphone works just fine without issues; it's just Skype, and I can't figure this out for the life of me. Any help? This is really frustrating me

The record level being grayed out means the interface is selected and the input level is controlled by the interface.
Did you choose the correct input channel?
Did you turn on monitoring?
Do you have the gain level turned up on the interface?

Hello iPad friends I need some help concerning connection to WiFi. My iPad mini won't pick up on any WiFi and I have tried resetting both the iPad and WiFi settings to no avail. Also, even inputting the name manually won't work. Help?!

The easy things first. Tap wifi in settings. Is wifi turned on, can you see your wifi in choose a network, do you have airplane mode turned on, is it just your wifi router or all wifi signals, if you go to a public site can you see their network? Have you tried a reset.? If your still having problems, take your mini to the Apple Store and let them show you how. If they can't connect to their signal ask them for further suggestions

This can happen when you upgrade to iOS6 - I am assuming that you have tested your network with other devices and your Express is set up properly and you know the network name and password - I would go to setttings on the iPad --> General --> Network --> Wi-Fi and make sure that Wi-Fi is ON and Ask to join other netwroks is on - then wait a while and see if your network shows up in the Choose a Network section and when asked enter your password - if it works then your password will be remembered and the iPad will connect automatically when you are in range of the Express.
But if you can't see your network to start with or you just can't connect, turn off the iPad and restart it - this may allows the radio to re-connect with the network and you can connect using the steps above - if you are still unsuccessful, then I suggest that you re-post this question in the iPad discussion or contact Apple directly - let me know how you make out.
