Adjust clip time & date...for real?

Hello.
A couple years back I had a HD fail and on it was a few GB of video that wasn't backed up (most of the 500+ GBs were backed up, but a few weren't as it was new video that hadn't gone through the weekly backup script) and thus, when I recovered the drive, the creation date on these videos were all wrong (as they were now the date the files were recovered and not the true creation dates).
I know the dates these videos were shot though, so I used the "adjust clip time and date" option in iMovie to correct them. But, I didn't realize that iMovie didn't really correct the dates in the file, but rather must just reference a revised date somewhere within the program. Like I said, I didn't realize this...until this weekend when I moved (via iMovie) the 500+ GB of videos to a new, larger HD. Now, all of these videos have reverted back to the "creation date" with regards to the events they're now in, and when i inspect the files in Finder, I can see the creation dates are wrong (ie. they're the date they were recovered, not the date I corrected in iMovie).
So, instead of wasting my time correcting again via iMovie, only to have to do it again and again and again every time I move my library locations, I'm wondering if anyone knows a program that can correct the timestamp on video files? I know there are programs that can do this for photos, but I'm unable to find one for dealing with videos?

It depends. If you have not already started using these clips in Projects, you can create a permanent date change by renaming the clips. This has the advantage that you can see the date and time metadata as you skim the clip in either the project or the event. But if you are already using these clips in projects, renaming them would cause you to get the yellow warning flag that the link to your clip has been lost. To do it this way, rename your clip as clip-yyyy-mm-dd hh;mm;ss.ext where ext is the same as the current extension.
If you need to keep the same name, A Better Finder Attributes is a good program for dating files. I have found an issue with Snow Leopard (last time I checked - may have been fixed). The issue is that Snow Leopard will not let you change the attributes illogically. I can't remember the specifics, but for example, the creation date cannot be before the drive was manufactured - that kind of thing. Snow Leopard will not let me date a file in the 1950's. It changes it back every time.

I'm trying to enter time data for an absence type using CAT2 for hourly employees and it's giving me an error saying "for attendance type, function or/and one of the URA is required".
I'm not sure what that means, the system has no functions available. Entering time data for full-time salaried employees is working just fine.

Where do i find scheduling (time) data for the resources, Plz tellme the table names, there is any standard tables is there..or not.
    I find out the where we get the scheduling (time) data for the resources, but problem is i got structure name and fielsd name and data element name.

Printing problem linked to EXIF time data for JPEG images.

For some years I have been using Photoshop Elements 8.0 with no problems of any kind. My computer runs on XP Professional with a system comfortably in excess of the minimum requirements to run Elements 8.0. I load my images into Elements from a card reader which is the same one since I got this version of Elements. I shoot mostly in JPEG with a Nikon D300. I print to one of 2 Epson printers, an SX100 and a PX700W. I don't use the wireless feature of the PX700W, connecting it via USB.
About a year ago I suddenly began to experience printing problems. If I tried to print an image Elements crashed just at the point where printing would begin. By trial & error I discovered that if I adjusted the time in the EXIF data of the image in Elements, whether by advancing or retarding it by hours or days and then adjusted it back to the original time I had no problems printing that image thereafter.
I also discoveredc that where I had shot in RAW I could print direct from the RAW image in Elements or from the JPEG I saved from an edited in RAW and had no problems.
I saw the forum discussions about the issues about the date/time in EXIF having been changed following the import into Elements. For those images I still had on my memory cards I checked the EXIF data in Elements and compared it what was on the image on the card. They were the same. I also checked the time zone and time settings of the camera and they were correct.
I backed up my catalog, re-formatted the computer to bring it back to its ex-factoy status, re-installed Elements and restored my catalog. I imported new images, tried to print them and the problem was still there.
Before I might upgrade to Photoshop Elements 10 I'm hoping someone else may tell me they have had the same problem and, hopefully, be able to tell me how they fixed it. I know the workaround will bypass the problem but it really annoys me that it suddenly appeared and I seem to be stuck with it. I'm also concerned that, given I totally re-formatted my computer but the problem is still with me, that the problem may be imbedded in my catalog and simply gets backed up to,\and restored from, my backup.
I'd be grateful for any ideas.

Though I'm not sure, but see if Catalog repair and optimize helps resolve the issue.
For doing this, click File >> Catalog and selec your catalog and then click "repair' button.
Tick the checkbox for rebuilding indices in the repair workflow.
Now perform the optimize operation on the catalog similarly.

MSS Time Approval - Detailed approval view shows time data for different PN

Hi Experts,
We're using the standard MSS time approval without workflow and here're 2 issues we have:
There're multiple time records for multiple employees in MSS for approval.
1. When manager tried to select all the records for one employee and click the "Approve" button in the collective approval screen, then all the records will be approved including records of other employees.
2. When manager click the hours of one record for a certain employee to go to the detailed/individual view, other employee's time data will be displayed in the detailed view window.

IMovie 11 9.0.9 cannot adjust clip times to fraction of a second

I am now using a new mac 13 inch with retina dispay, OS mountain lion, and iMovie 11 9.0.9. I used to be able to adjust the duration of a clip to within a fraction of a second. For example: if I set transitions to 2 secs., then set clip duration to 3 secs. the clip actually plays for 5 secs. (using 1 sec. from each bounding transition). Fine. If I changed the clip duration to 3.5 secs. accordingly the duration would last for 5.5 secs. Just what I want. This no longer works for me. After entering 3.5 secs I get 5.05 secs or some such nonsense. I showed this to a creative person at a onetoone and he told me I could never do that. mmmmm.

I'm making a timeline with a moving car. It has to go from left to right in about 11 hours.
I got this code and the car is moving from left to right:

Set a time/date for forms to automatically close

We are using Forms Central for proposal submissions. There is a deadline for the proposals to be turned in, and up to now, we've had to turn the form off by hand.
Is there a way to set up the form so that it automatically closes itself at a certain date and time? So, for instance, if a proposal is due on Friday, February 7, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, the form will switch itself to "Closed" at that time?

Shifting time/date for many pictures

When I returned from holiday I forgot to change the time on my camera, so the thousands of pictures I've taken in the last three months are 12 hours off (which sometimes causes the date to be off).
Flickr has a function for shifting the time of pictures, which works nicely. (I guess I'm not the only person to forget to change their camera clock .) I was hoping there was a way to do this in Automator, but if there is I can't figure out how.
Is there any way of shifting the time (and maybe date) without doing it manually for each picture? I know I can batch change, but that sets the time to a specific value, while what I want to do is subtract 12 (or 13) hours for each picture.

Need to disable Time Machine for real

Hi,
My Time Machine is turned off, but every time I log on I get the following message, "A storage location for Time Machine backups isn't set up."
So I click on 'Set Up Time Machine', it shows that Time Machine is turned off. I thought if I chose a backup disk maybe then I could really get it to turn off so I clicked on that and I get a blank window with the option to "set up Time Capsule". We do not use wireless here so the only option is to cancel which leaves me back where I started.
I know I must be missing something. I have scoured this discussion but the only solution I found to try was deleting the plist file. That didn't help.
I also tried using Workgroup Manager to not allow this user to access Time Machine but that didn't work.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Is the window completely blank, or is there a "None" location, with a red circle with a line through it? Select that line and the +Use for Back Up+ button will change to +Stop Backing Up.+ Click that and the prompts should stop.

Timebase data for high sample rate

Hi.
I am running a Labview program which is sampling data from a strain gauge module in a CDAQ unit at 2kHz.
The data is being logged to a TDMS file. The porblem I am having is finding a clock that is quick enough to use as a time base for this data. The clock that I am currently using is too slow and I see repeated time data for a few rows in the data file.

So basically I need the clock data that can update at least 2000 times a second.

As I already said, the internal timebase is more than capable so if you are reading multiple samples and specifying the internal clock, you should not have any problems. I don't know if your problem is how you are recording the data or reading it but the samples should be .5ms apart.

Error "cannot load request real time data targets" for new cube in BI 7.

WE have recently upgarded our SCM system from 4.1 to SCM 7.0 which incorporated BI 7.0.
I am using BI 7.0 for first time and ahve the following issue:
I ceated a new infocube and data source of flat file and succesfully created transformation, and Data Transfer Process. Everything looked fine. I added flat file and checked preview and could see data. Now when I start job to load data in infocube the follwing error is shown "cannot load request real time data targets".
I checked cube type in setting in infcune is shows as Standard. When I doube clicked on error the following message showed up
You are trying to load data into a real-time InfoCube using a DTP.
This is only possible if the correct load settings have been defined for the InfoCube.
Procedure
In the object tree of the Data Warehousing Workbench, call Load Behavior of Real-Time InfoCube from the context menu of the InfoCube. Switch load behavior to Transactional InfoCube can be loaded; planning not allowed.
I did not understand what it is meant and how to set changes. Can someone advice and follow me through.

Real-time InfoCubes can be filled with data using two different methods: using the transaction for entering planning data, and using BI staging, whereby planning data cannot be loaded simultaneously. With Real time cube you can select the method you want to use for update as
Real Time data Target can be loaded With Data; Planning not allowed &
Real Time data Target can be Planned; Data loading not allowed
You can change this behaviour by right clicking on cube and selecting Change real time load behaviour and select first option. You will be able to load the data then
