Adjust font size for notes?

is it possible to adjust the font size for the .txt file to be read in the 'notes' folder in 'my computer'. i have synced it to my ipod but becuase of is size and the way the info is portrayed the width is too narrow on ipod thus getting a 'spill' onto the next line. is there anyway to save it as it is in its original .txt file. thank you
Alan

In the text note include some html code. html (hypertext markup language) is what is used to display this web page.
You can Google "html font size" to learn more about it.
Create a text note.
The very first line of the text note should be
<font size =-1>
This will make the font 1 size smaller (it's a minus 1). Make it a + (plus) sign to make it larger.
Add the rest of your note.
The last line of your text note should be
</font>
to return everything to normal.

  • I have iphone 4s and just bought an ebook for ibook, trouble is the font is so tiny I can't read it and the font sizer is not working? Please help!

    Hi, I have the  iphone 4s and just bought an ebook for ibook, trouble is the font is so tiny I can't read it and the font sizer is not working? Please help!

    Hello Glittergirl68,
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    It sounds like the function to reseize the Font in an iBook is not functioning properly.
    I recommend a few things here. First close all the apps that are running in the background:
    Double-click the Home button.
    Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
    Swipe the app up to close it.
    From: iOS: Force an app to close
              http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
    When you have done that, restart the phone, and try again.
    If the issue persists, I would follow these steps from the article:
    iOS: Troubleshooting apps purchased from the App Store
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1702
    2. Check for app updates
    You can setup apps to update automatically in Settings > iTunes & App Store, but make sure that your apps are up to date:
    Open the App Store and tap Updates. If updates are available, tap Update All.
    If  prompted, enter your iTunes Store account information. App Store will then download and install the app updates.
    Note: Some apps may require a Wi-Fi connection to update.
    3. Install another app from the App Store
    If none of your user-installed apps will launch, there could be an issue with Apple ID authorization. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information. You can also remove an app from your iOS device and download it again from the App Store or sync the app from your computer.Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account.
    4. Restart the app
    If the issue affects only a single app, try closing just that app.
    5. Restart your device
    Turn the device off and on.
    6. Reinstall the affected app
    Remove the app from your device and reinstall it:
    Tap and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle and show a small "x" in the top-right corner of the app.
    Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to delete.
    Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your device.
    Press the Home button.
    Go to the App Store.
    Search for the app and then download it again.
    All the very best,
    Sterling

  • How to change font size for tracks in Songs view, iTunes 11?

    I'm wondering which field in TextStyles.plist for the new iTunes 11 (I've gotten rid of Helvetica for Lucida Grande thanks to another forum on here!) - controls the font size for track title, time, artist, album, etc. as seen here - I would like to have it smaller, and have been playing around on several forums and not found the magical field to get that exact thing smaller. Many thanks in advance.

    You're going to love me forever:
    <key>9002</key>
    <dict>
    <key>- loc hint -</key>
    <string>List Contents (Small)</string>
    <key>font</key>
    <string>HelveticaNeue</string>
    <key>size</key>
    <integer>12</integer>
    </dict>
    It's that interger "12" that's determines the size. Adjust it until you're happy—provided that it's an interger.
    I actually go with "HelveticaNeue" with a size of 11. I like to see lots of tabular information at once, horizontally, without changing my resolution… within reason, e.g. Fiona Apple album titles still have ellipses.
    An unfortunate aspect to this is that the row height isn't altered unless the font size specified is greater than 12—the font takes the row height along for the ride when it's bigger, but the row doesn't come along for the ride when the font gets smaller. It's likely you could change the minimum row height to be lower, in some other plist—search for something like "list contents (small)" or "list (small)" or whatever—but I don't know where that would be found, or if it could be found at all.
    Nonetheless, this should address your query.

  • Adjust font size buttons?

    Designing our first website in Muse.
    I was wondering is it possible to add the adjust font size buttons in Muse for accessibility for visually impaired?
    Im guessing its usually done with multiple stylesheets.
    Is this possible to achieve in Muse? if so how?
    Thanks
    Nick

    You would find quite a few free scripts that does this via JavaScript but adding this functionality on any website is pretty outdated especially when all major browsers support Zoom In and Zoom Out feature (which also triggers with a hit of a Hotkey) and serves similar purpose for better Accessibility <http://www.ehow.com/how_5661396_zoom-text-google-chrome.html> that a script may or may not achieve most efficiently such as saving of preferences on refresh of a page etc.
    If Accessibility is an important objective for your website, you might want to add a line of text somewhere around the page's header indicating the Hotkeys to do so for those who aren't really aware of this feature of a browser. Also have a look at these resources on Low Vision support that most browsers offer today which you would find interesting:

  • How to change font size for email sent

    Email sent from my 4th generation iPod Touch appears with a tiny font ( 4pt.) on computers screens and printouts. Is there a way to change this on the iPod Touch?  I have not been able to make the font larger in Mail on MBA. I am able to adjust font size of email form iPod Touch on Win 7.
    Thanks

    Hi, I just tried a few of the other suggestoions on related threads. Adjusting the font in the iPod only enlarges font on screen of iDevice. I set it back to Medium. That was OK.
    In Mail on MBA command + enlarges font on screen only. Printout is still very small.
    Thsi\\is seems to be something related to Mail not the iPod. Email does appear in normal size font on iBook running Panther, XP, Win 7 units. Printouts are normal size too.
    Thanks again for your help. Being able to make the font larger on the MBA screen is good.

  • Can Parameters be used to adjust Font size in Rpts?

    Hi there - we want to use Crystal Rpts to print labels for various tape/media formats.
    The staff will select & preview the reports thru a different program/platform - where all the data is entered & updated. (The reports themselves reside on the server, and I'm the one who updates & modifies them, the users simply print, export results, etc.)
    The issue is - if we start utilizing Crystal for the labels... the staff no longer has immediate access to manipulate templates (to modify font size, etc.) unless I give them all licenses to Crystal Rpts (which would be costly & not entirely prudent).
    I'm a bit of a novice in terms of Crystal & have very little knowledge in terms of parameters, but I was wondering if I can use a parameter to have them adjust the font size?? &#91;That way - they could preview the report - if the text doesn't all fit, they can cancel out, go back in, adjust their parameter criteria, etc.&#93;
    Any assistance you might be able to give me would be GREAT!!
    Thanks!
    ~k
    PS - I'm working in Crystal 9... it's the version that's compatable w/my other program (ScheduALL)

    Thanks - all of these suggestions are really helpful! - one last follow-up:
    my users who are testing this are remarking that they often have to go in and re-size/tweak these items a number of times.  Obviously, this means re-freshing the preview more than once.  Because of the detail of the labels - and the user's preference to be able to manipulate the font size for various fields discreetly, I've created 11 separate parameter fields for font re-sizing (grouping some items together only where appropriate).
    So the question is (now that I've set these defaults - and they've over-ridden, some or all of them) ... is there a way for them to go back & revise one or more parameter and still keep the rest of their current settings/changes (without having to re-enter all that info all over again)??
    EX: Preview 1:
    ?Name font >default val: 10 => change to 9
    ?Title font >default val: 8 => change to 7
    ?CH1 font >default val: 8 => change to 7
    ?CH2 font >default val: 8 => change to 7
    ?spine font >default val: 7 => remains static
    ?interior label font >default val: 8=> change to 7
    Preview 2:
    Leave all items the same as above except:
    ?Name font >default val: 10 => (was changed to 9) => change to 8
    Please advise.  Thanks.

  • "Preview," how to change font size for when you "fill in the blanks" in a pdf file?

    In the pdf reader, "PREVIEW,"
    I specifically want to find out how to change the font size for "fill in the blanks" information. They're usually huge and i just simply want to make them smaller.
    As a complete aside, is there a keyboard shortcut for being on google chrome or safari, then immediately opening the window for "preview." I'm typing notes out on preview while listening to a video lecture on my web browser, usually chrome, and i'd like to switch back and forth.
    Thank you, I'd greatly appreciate any advice.

    HI Velders,
    Can't answer your first question but can offer some information regarding your 'aside.'
    Command-tab will move the focus to the most recent previous application. If repeated, it will step through the pen applications from most to least recent. In your described case, you could use command-tab to toggle between Preview and Safari.
    Command-~ runs you through the open windows in the same application. As with command-tab, the steps are from most to least recent.

  • Changing font size for motorola droid's emails

    Hi, is there a way of changing the font size with the motorola droid, when working with emails? The emails font seem a bit small. a Little hard to read. I'd like the font to be larger.
    Thanks.

    I tried Spare Parts, because I have the same problem with the font size on email - way too small for these 50-year old eyes.  It does not work on email.  In fact it says in the Spare Parts menu under Font size "this only works within this screen."  I'm using an LG Ally, BTW.
    Any other ideas for increasing font size for emails?

  • Is there a way to increase the font size for the "songs" and "artists" lists in the new music app for iPad 2 (iOS 5)? It is too small for me.

    Is there a way to increase the font size for the "songs" and "artists" lists in the "music" app for iPad 2 (iOS 5)? It is smaller than the previous version.

    falkner09 wrote:
    is there really no fix for this?
    It would depend on your definition of "Fix"
    Your iPod touch running OS 4.2 has a ZOOM feature which will enable you to see the screen more clearly.
    To turn Zoom on or off got to:
    Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom and tap the Zoom On/Off switch.
    _To Zoom in or out_:
    Double-tap the screen with three fingers. By default, the screen is magnified 200 percent. If you manually change the magnification (by using the tap-and-drag gesture, described below), iPod touch automatically returns to that magnification when you zoom in by double-tapping with three fingers.
    Increase magnification: With three fingers, tap and drag toward the top of the screen (to increase magnification) or toward the bottom of the screen (to decrease magnification). The tap-and-drag gesture is similar to a double-tap, except you don’t lift your fingers on the second tap—instead, drag your fingers on the screen. Once you start dragging, you can drag with a single finger.
    _Move around the screen_:
    When zoomed in, drag or flick the screen with three fingers. Once you start dragging, you can drag with a single finger so that you can see more of the screen. Hold a single finger near the edge of the display to pan to that side of the screen image. Move your finger closer to the edge to pan more quickly. When you open a new screen, Zoom always goes to the top-middle of the screen.
    _Large Text_:
    Large Text lets you make the text larger in alerts, and in Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Messages, and Notes. You can choose 20-point, 24-point, 32-point, 40-point, 48-point, or 56-point text.
    Set the text size: In Settings, choose General > Accessibility, tap Large Text, then tap the text size you want.
    I hope this has helped a little - other than this option I think it pretty much is what it is.
    BTW - This information can be found on page 208 of the iPod Touch iOS 4.2 Users Guide.
    Best wishes..
    Ricky

  • Change font Size for Lock Screen Message

    In system preferences Security & Privacy you are able to set a lock message for the lock screen. Is there a way to change the Font Size or even the color of the message in Mavericks?

    I was able to set the font size for all the text on the envelope by pressing the Set button for the font. The size is on the right side of the dialog box. If it is not working for you, try choosing another font, and then going back to the one you want.

  • Set custom font size for one column

    hey guys! I am trying to decrease the font-size for one column based on an lov and used
    style="font-size:8pt"It does not work though! Do you have a hint?
    brgds,
    seb

    Hello Seb,
    >> Might it be important whether the column is of type "...based on lov"?
    If by "...based on lov" you mean “Display as Text (based on LOV, does not save state)” the answer is yes. This type of column is not treated as an updatable column (the implementation is by using a regular <td> tag and not the <input> tag) so the Apex engine ignores the Element Attributes field.
    As far as I can tell, this column can only be styled in the query itself (and you need to implement the LOV yourself).
    Another option is to use a select list and disabled it, but the column will appear in gray, and with small font size it doesn’t look that good.

  • Font Size for Dropdown List Box

    Hi All,
    We are in ECC 6.0 with Integrated ITS. We have a 'Z' EWT transaction with a corresponding service maintained in SICF being executed via ITS and/or Portals.
    The problem is that the font sizes for the dropdown list values for all these input fields are very small. The same transaction when run in ECC has no such font issues.
    Does anyone have any idea of why that is happening and if the font sizes for these dropdown list fields can be changed or not?
    Thanks in Advance
    Shounak

    Hello Shounak,
    If this is in Portals then you may be able to change the size of the font through the Portal Theme Generator.

    <Edited by Host>

    I'm happy to assist with that. While you cannot adjust all font sizes, you can adjust some system fonts through the following method: Go in to Settings, then General, then accessibility. Then tap 'Large Text'. Here you can choose to adjust font sizes in Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Messages and Notes.
    Please let me know if you have any other troubles,
