Adjusting Speed On Entire Project

How to slow down entire project that contains 40
slides by a factor of 4

Hi Paul (and with Rick's permission
There is a tool on the Captivate exchange that allows a user
to adjust the playback speed to suit them as needed. You can access
that exchange from the link below and then find and download the
widget.

  • Way to change speed of entire Project easily?

Hi, I know how to change the speed of an individual clip in the timeline - but is there an easy way to change the entire speed of the project? Thanks.

Hi, thanks guys - that worked - although it seems when I change the speed of the nested sequence and export it the quality is quite a bit worse (exporting it with the same settings) - seems to be a lot of jagged edges now. Is there something in the 'Change Speed' window that should be changed? I am creating a sequence and doubling the speed and another sequence exported with 4 times the speed. What is checked in the Change Speed window is 'Frame Blending' and 'Scale Attributes' (the default settings). Any ideas how to get rid of the 'jaggedness' that is being created? (this file was originally a .dv file - a regular export to quicktime from regular speed sequence looks fine. Thanks.

  • Video files seem to become corrupted when I adjust speed

    Hello,
I have started editing a new project, and am experiencing a familiar problem that I have encountered in the past, but which was never really resolved. I'm not very technical, so apologies if my description of the problem is simplstic.
The problem is that after making certain edits in the Project window, I find that the entire project has some how become corrupted: i.e. every single clip becomes impossible to edit - I can't spool through the clips and view them in the screen by dragging my mouse cursor over them, and I can't even delete the clip whose edit seemed to result in the corruption.
If I leave the project to go back to the project library, it is now impossible to re-enter the project. The words "edit project" in the button at the top left become grey. I find that the most common cause for this problem is whenever I attempt to adjust the speed of a clip, or reverse it. Is this a common problem with a simple solution?
I have come up with a makeshift solution, which is far from satisfactory, but does sometimes help: I remove the file in the iMovie Events folder in Finder that contains the clips that I can no longer edit, and open up iMovie. The event library in iMovie will now be empty; I replace the events files back into the iMovie Events folder in Finder, then import a random clip into iMovie. The random clip is imported into a seprate event of its own, and the original file that I had put back into iMovie Events reappears simultaneously. Sometimes when I do this, the clips in the Project library are editable again, but not always.
However, I would far rather that the programme simply processed my edits without corrupting the project. Is anyone familliar with this problem, and does anyone have a solution. Thank you very much in advance.

There are several likely sources of corruption, and video card would be far down on my list of possible suspects.
The transfer from camera card to hard disk is the most likely place for problem, either the card reader or USB cable can go bad. Another likely source of problems is the computer's hard disk is starting to fail. The camera card itself may be bad. And lastly, the memory in the computer may be malfunctioning.

  • How to adjust speed of Flash animation within Adobe Captivate

I have three Flash animations that were bought from istockphoto.com. The animations were imported into the project within Captivate. When the individual slides are playing in the project, the speed and timing is perfect. When the project is then to be published to preview the entire project as a whole, all of the animations speed up and are playing continuously throughout the desired slide. I don't know how to slow down the animation and have it play only one time through. What are the properties that I need to adjust in order to slow down the animation?

    Hello,
This is a possibility, not sure: the framerate for Captivate is normally 30fps whereas the default framerate in Flash is 25fps. You can try to change the fps in the Captivate project, in the Preferences (see screenshot)

  • Turn off sound on entire project

I know how to change a clips audio in my iMovie 08 project, but is there a way to change the audio in the ENTIRE project?
I have a ton of clips that I want turn the sound off on, and put some music too.
I tried selecting all of my clips, and right clicking on the sound, but it defaulted to where I clicked. I also tried selecting all and clicking on the sound toolbar, but it defaulted to the first clip in my project.

Select one clip and turn volume to 0% using 'adjust audio' function. Right click clip and select 'copy'. Choose clips that you want to silence by using the shift key e.g. choose first clip, hold shift and choose last clip, all will be highlighted. Then go to 'Edit' on the menu bar, 'paste adjustments' - 'audio' and the audio settings of your initial 'copied' clip will be applied changing all the selected clips to 0% volume.

  • Importing entire project into DTR

    Hello All,
I need to put my project into DTR.
Can i import my entire project into DTR inspite of doing it file by file.
    Thanks & Regards
    Abhivyakti

Since my colorsit doesn't have CS4, I nested sequences in another timeline so that when I imported project in AE my colorist could see the one clip nest and click it to see other timeline to see all clips detail.
    Thank you.

  • Can you set a Cost Rate Table to be used for an entire project

In earlier versions of project, the default cost rate table (A) is used unless changed by the user for each assignment.  In 2010, is it possible to define which cost rate table to use for the entire project, not at the assignment level?
    Thanks.

    Hi melduncan,
Welcome to this Microsoft Project forum:)
I assume you want project to have a default cost rate, so why not set the cost rate details into A to begin with,  You could then set this as a template from which you initiate all your new projects see FAQ
Item: 8. New Project Template.   FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm
Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

  • BAPI for scheduling entire project?

Hi!, we need to simulate a scheduling depending on dates introduced by user.
Does anybody know if its possible to schedule entire project via function or similar ECC 6.0?. CJ29 seems to be difficult becase log of changes are shown in ALV...
    Thanks for your help!!!!!

    Hello!,
    Bapi_project_maintain has schedule method?.
Also if bapi_network_maintain could schedule all may networks. How could I ascend new dates to wbs elements and project?. Also, Could I access to scheduling result?.
My issue is tahe we need to do a kind of scheduling simulation. User could change a activity date (via constraint) and we have to schedule project taking into account this new date. If the result is not good for user, we have to delete the constraint and keep the project as it was before the process.
So, we need to schedule the project via bapi_network_maintain only if the bapi returns the scheduling results...
    Any idea????
Thanks in advance for your help!!!!.

  • In Aperture 3, how can I easily move entire projects out of my main Ap Library into other libraries?  My Ap library is running super slow because it's overloaded l so I have created two new libraries, but can't seem to move the projects into them

In Aperture 3, how can I easily move entire projects out of my main Ap Library into other libraries?  My Ap library is running super slow because it's overloaded, so I have created two new libraries, but can't seem to move the projects into them?

    Hello Annabel,
To move entire projects export them as Aperture Libraries, and then import those Libraries into the other Aperture Library:
Select the Project in the Inspector, then
File -> Export -> Project as Library
    In the other Library do:
    File -> Import  -> Library/ Project
But I am not quite convinced, that the size of your current Aperture Library is responsible for the slowness of Aperture - Aperture is designed to cope with huge libraries.
You may want to post your hardware setup and details of your library, and some of the hardware experts here may help you to find the reason for the slowness.
A huge library should only be a problem, if the projects are too big, and if you have many, many smart albums at the root level of your library.
So keep the projects small, and try to move some of your smart albums to lower levels in your folder structure (then Aperture does not need to scan all of your images to build the smart album).
Other reasons for Aperture's slowness may be, e.g.
An overfull system drive and/or external drive (keep at least 20% of your drives empty)
    lack of RAM
a corrupted Aperture Library, that needs repairing
Have you checked those options, before you split your library? It would be a pity to split it, for you would loose the ability to browse all parts at the same time, to use all your images in the Media Browser, etc.

  • Just imported clips and edited as new project. closed imovie. came back later and the entire project was gone. i was not done so i did not finalize it. how do i get the program to keep my project in progress

running imovie on a powermac w 10.6.8. went through the tutorials. imported my clips, got the hang of basic editing, and created a project.
was pretty happy with it, but needed to shut down and come back to work on it later. when i did come back, the entire project was gone.
how do i get the program to save my work in progress, without finalizing it?
    thanks

So, everything worked out just fine!
I have all my material in the ProRes Codec on a seperate drive now. The project itself was kept or rather duplicated, the bin structure etc stayed the same but is linking to the newly created files. The playback and workflow is fluent. I am happy!
Time info: For about 120 GB of material the codec change process took 25 hours.
    Thanks for your help!

  • How to make the entire project in the project server 2013 reschedule؟

How to make the entire project in the project server 2013 reschedule ?
Because item %compelet related to reschedule
In this photo it is known there are no items update project

    Hi,
In PWA, you do not have the feature to update the project plan in one click, meaning marking as completed the work before the status date or reschedule after the status date the remaining work. Either you have to use Project Pro, or edit individually the
assignments with the actual work (if not comming from timesheets) and remaining work.
    Hope this helps,

  • Duplicating an entire project?

    Hi there,
I have duplicated all of the files and the folder structure in an ID CS4 project that contains 40 chapters organized under a book file. I renamed the parent folder to indicate a new version.
When I open the book file in the duplicate folder structure and open one of the chapters, ID opens the chapter file from the original folder.
How can I edit my book file to point to the newly duplicated files in the new folder structure?
I haven't found a discussion on this subject nor does my CS4 Bible seem to mention this. Am I trying to do something that shouldn't be done at all?
    Thanks,
    Peter H.

Thank everyone for the feedback. I wasn't aware of the package feature you mentioned so I'll investigate that possible solution.
I successfully updated the book file to point to all of the copies... it just took a while with 40 chapters.
I suspected there would be an issue with the image links. I'd like to find a solution to that as well. Since I'm the newest person on the team but solely responsible for his particular document, it is up to me to fix things without rocking the boat too much. (politics)
After investigating a few of the links, I see that some of the hundreds of images are pointing to indivisual computers belonging to people no longer employed by the company. I'm finding links pointing to user folders on distant C: drives.
I don't mind independent copies of the entire project with all the images in folders below the ID files. Wish those links were relative paths instead of the full path but it is what it is... I am more concerned with the missing images and the fact that ID now has to use whatever temp file it is using to display the image of the missing file.
Sounds like I've got a busy week ahead of me... but I'm done for now... got my 40 hours in and I'm not authorized any overtime no matter how much I'd like to clean this up as quickly as possible. :-)
    Thanks again,
    Peter H.

  • Checking out entire project

I'm trying to get RoboHelp 9 set up with Subversion. Thus far I'm using the RH UI to do everything, but I've seen posts from others saying they check the entire project in and out of source control. Can comeone please elaborate on how that works? I know that there are some files that you don't add to source control, such as the .cpd file. So how do you set everything up? Are you checking the folder that contains the project in and out? If so, how do  you omit the files that are supposed to be excluded?

    Hi,
You can check out the project from the RoboHelp GUI. Click Check out all to check out the entire project.
You can also use the client to check out all the project files at once. Typically, you would not integrate the project with version control. You just check in the files after you've closed RoboHelp.

  • Delete an entire project in Premiere Pro CS5.5

HI: How can I delete an entire project in PP CS5.5. I'm worried about deleting because I have a bunch of projects saved and I'm not sure how they are saved and if they are scattered all over the HDD's. I don't want to delete something that I'm using. I use a designated drive and make folders for each project but it has gotten a bit out of hand and I might not have been as dedicated as I should have been as far as organization. It seems that some of these files go to the C drive in Adobe folder and I never use that but something does. Can anyone tell me how Adobe stores all this stuff and how to know what files are with what projects. I would gladly read about it if I could get pointed in the right direction. A preThanks to all who respond. Spark

Settings for scratch disks are set in the Project Settings/Scratch Disks and all the available other settings are in the Edit/Preferences/Media options. Cleaning the Media Cache can help in cleaning up and is not destructive. Everything that is needed will be recreated when PR needs it. It will show up as indexing, conforming and creating PEK files.
Changing specific directories like C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Premiere Pro\5.5 and C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Premiere Pro\5.5 are generally not advised, specially not for the faint of heart.
