Make sure your own music files are saved in the proper folder (Digital sounds) whether in your memory card or the phone memory, the location should still be:
Sound Clips > Digital Sounds.
If your songs/mp3s are saved anywhere else, it will not show up as a selectable ringing tone.
You can move your songs through File Manager on your phone if they are in the wrong location (Options > Move to folder).

Thanks! I forgot to add, I have debonded and rebonded the bluetooth in car and phone and have carried out 3 restores on the phone in my ITunes. All to no avail. I have also jsut spent £40 on a lead from Ford that has made no difference too! I went to them today to request a software upgrade on my car as I though perhaps the lack of connectivity in the car was down to the car being behind the iOS5 software but was informed there was no need for an upgrade and this problem is purely an apple problem! Is there any way around the downgrade? Or are apple gong to resolve this problem at all??

How to get more power/capacity from my G5 2GHz DP, PPC?I own a fully max'd

I have a max'd out G5 Dual 2 GHz PPC w/2GB DDR SDRAM. Have 2 hard drives but are also max'd out - now effecting performance speed. I use the mac 99% for editing Video and Audio. Movies and files are stored on external HDs. If I am reading my specs right, I have 8 slots, of which 4 are incorporating 512MB RAM sticks - does this meran I can add more RAM? For some reason I thought 2 GB was max??? If this is a "can-do" - will this increase my speed-power? Keeping in mind I'm at near total capacity on the HDs (using HD2 as start up drive, because HD1 has less space on it)can I add a third internal HD and make that one larger and designate it as the start up drive? Upgrading to OS 10.5 won't help it right? Thanks for helping me out, still getting the "bugs out" but I always seem to want more, more, more....(Geez, I sound like Billy Idol huh?) I think you are on the right track. I would add 2 gig
of ram from either Crucial, or OWC. I would replace
one of your 250 gig drives with a 500 gig, they can
be had for about $150 now. You don't really have any
option to upgrade your video card right now...the
only one better than your 9800 is an X800 and they're
not available without paying an extreme price. For
whatever reason ATI isn't making them and no one
knows if they will in the future. I understand that
the nVidia 6800 is a great card but they're hard to
find and also expensive. I would stay away from
inexpensive flashed PC cards.
On a maintenance note, have a backup strategy.
Download and run a utility like Onyx or Cocktail on a
regular basis. I'm hearing good things about
AppleJack...I think I'm going to give it a try but at
this time I don't know anything about it and I use
Onyx. Repair your permissions regularly and for sure
after any upgrade or install. DiskWarrior is my one
can't be without utility.
I'm sure there are going to many other good
suggestions, there are several knowledgeable people
here and all are willing to help a fellow mac user. I
do believe that you're doing the right things to
extend the useful life of your G5 until you someday
buy a Mac Pro if that's your plan....I know that's
mine!

Which version of Oracle (4 digits)?
If 10.2 or greater, look into using XMLTable and that is the replacement for the table(XMLSequence(extract()) approach. Also, avoid the use of // unless you really need it. I doubt it will make a difference in your situation but just a good performance approach in general.

I also have questions about what that XMLType is being stored as but that depends upon what your version is regarding what storage options you have.

Java -mx... the only way to get more memory in java?

I have the problem that i must use many and large images and therefore i get the "Out Of Memory" error. In this forum, i found many posts about this, but the only solution i found was to use the the option "-mx".
I don't know what this option does. Does it increase the memory i can use during running the program? If it is so, then i am really disappointed...

Summary: yes, you are limited to the JVM size.
This is a known trade-off between C++ and Java: with Java you get a 'safe' sandbox, rather than unlimited OS memory access. Hence buffer overruns and other exploits are not possible. Java's automatic garbage collection (where's that in C++?) is also optimised for a limited heap size.
The available JVM memory is strictly limited to a heap size, which as you note is given a fixed size at startup.
(i) you are free to specify a heap size of 1GB or 2GB (indeed, this is common on corporate servers).
(ii) you may find the Buffer features of the NIO package useful for accessing very large files partially in memory and partially from disk.

Adjusting the crop (was LR gets lost when I shrink it)

I am using LR on my Mac and love it, but it has developed an annoying habit. When we shrink it and then go to the dock to reopen it, it refuses to open up again. We have to close LR and then reopen it. This also sometimes happens when we open safari - again we have to close LR and reopen it. Thanks for your help!

There shouldn't be any rotation involved. Don't rotate the rectangle, just resize it.
Press "R" to bring up the crop. You should also get an cursor that looks like a traditional cropping square. Just draw a rectangle with the cursor. It can be tall or wide. If the image is already cropped you will get a different cursor. Click Reset in the toolbox to clear the crop and you should get the crop tool cursor again. Then drag out your (tall or wide) rectangle. By moving the crop cursor left/right or up/down while resizing the box it will change the rectangle from wide to tall.

Vcore voltage problem.

How come it doesn't post evertime i raise up the vcore voltage. But when i press the reset button it post up fine. It only happen when i power up the computer. I have a MSI 850 pro5 mb | 512 rdram | 550 antec ps | g4 ti 4400. This doesnt make any sense, and I'm not even overclocking it. I try everthing, even update the bios. I think msi board suck. I did try to overclock, but im trying to say it does the same thing even i dont try to overclock. I have a watercool system and i want to overclock it some more. Its just that it bother me when it does that.

Wanting to get more out of my RAM

Ok, so here's the deal. I've got a 5000+BE and 4GB of OCZ 800Mhz RAM, which I want to get the most out of. I've got it listed in my profile, but I'm running my proc. at 3.2 with a multi of 16 and 1.4V putting the memory at 400Mhz. My big question is is there a way to alter the memory divider or a way to oc the ram without altering the HT bus. My proc is running 12 hrs stable on orthos, prime95, and CPU Stability Test. The RAM is good at 24hrs on Memtest. Any suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My apologies for the briefness of my message earlier, I was a bit rushed.
If I'm correct, then I have set the "FSB/Memory Ratio" to 1:2 which gives me the 400Mhz but is there a way to change the cpu/memory divider or is that automatically set by the memory controller on the cpu. I had to either set my processor to 3.2Ghz (16x2000) or 2.8Ghz (14x2000) to get the 400Mhz on my RAM due to the cpu/memory divider. Am I going to have to lower the multi and raise the HT speed to get more speed on the ram and still maintain stability on my processor? If that's the case I'd appreciate some recommendations on doing so, especially HT frequency stepping and voltages. I've read a lot but don't really have any experience with ocing, other than what I've said here. Thanks for your help.

Vcore Voltage setting

Hello everyone. I recently had a failed overclocking. I set the BIOS setting according to another user on another
forum with similar setup. Only thing is I didn't set the Vcore voltage on my board as it is greyed out not letting me
make adjustments. Why is that. other users are adjusting theirs some kind of way. I have the X58 Platinum
which was brand new when I built the PC. 3 OCZ 2gb three channel memory dimms,Vista 64 bit, Intel i7 920.
Anybody care to share a guide to overclocking this board successfully. Tryin to see at least 3.67 or 3.99Ghz.

I have linked an element on the BI Answer data model to the corresponding lement in the source table. to get more information on that data element.

But if he has two or more gigabit-supported computers that are connected to a gigabit switch via Ethernet, file transfers between those computers will be faster. This may or may not be helpful to him, though.
Also, there's something to be said for paying a little more to buy equipment that won't become obsolete as quickly.
